Here goes my TOP 10 Features for the Fossil Gen 6. A smartwatch and brand that I personaly like very much. You can basically do everything you can do with a smartphone too like texting and calling friends, you have around 100 sport modes, different battery modes and a pretty cool design.

TY for the review does this phone have the Tidal or Deezer app? I haven't decided which one I'm going to subscribe to though I have a three-month Tidal trial. I prefer the annual subs which Spotify doesn't have.

I don’t understand why Huawei watches can work more than one week and sometime 15 days without charging. This is really a key point for me and 1 or 2 days battery is a weakness for my use. (I own Huawei watch gt2 and Garmin D2 Charlie). Is Wear OS guilty?
The full featured watches typically have 1-4 days battery. Full featured would be making calls and texts, google assistant/bixby, play store.
I love love love my gen 6. It's so pretty and 42mm is the perfect size for a woman. I was afraid 42 was too small and I really wanted a 44 but the rose gold and purple only comes in 42. Once I saw it at the store I knew it would look gorgeous on my wrist. I seriously can't stop looking at it. At first seeing the purple band online turned me off but its not really purple its a very pretty pastel 😁
how are you getting 2-3 days of battery life? mine doesnt last more than a day and a half with always on disabled,heart tracking disabled, and while using extended mode! another doubt i had is how do you get google assistant to call someone? if i say "call X', it says "sorry, i cant do that anymore".... please help me bro
Turn off WiFi that is a huge battery drain.
You have to customise a lot. Schedule the blutooth to turn off at certain times. Turn off passive HR monitoring, uninstall apps you don't use, turn off wifi and location. Disable notification for apps that dont need to give watch notifications. There's a lot of control in wear os. Using it right, along with the included battery saver mode, will give you 2 days like me. 2 days seems to be the ceiling right now. Hopefully wear os 3 can improve that.
You might try disabling the Fit app if not tracking fitness or sleeping. That will get you over the 2 days battery.
In the video you are saying that it works ok google when you call it, could you make a demonstration? Mine doesn't work. Then also another thing that does not work in wear is to tell you, ok Google, take me to "x place" , the gen6 tells you that it will take you but it does not work and it stays black, does it work for you?
Set a button to Contacts to initiate a call or text. It works.
This is a beautiful watch as expected from Fossil. The gen 5 with the 3100 chip has nearly 5* reviews on Amazon, & this watch is the first with the 4100 Plus. Hint, turn off WiFi that is a huge battery drain.

@@bigbrain6966 I get ~ 2 days with the Fit app disabled. I don't need the watch to track my exercises. Plus recharging to 100% is less than 1hr.

@@randyb3576 cool I recently bought it I have to say it is very useful but tbh I find I day ok over time when the battery itself becomes unable to last a day it will be useful. I have to agree though that the features you turned of aren’t particularly useful a lot of the time and I will probably change the setup I use to something matching if not similar to yours.

Good video! I feel like my watch's battery might be a dud. With default settings of basically everything on I'm charging it twice a day, now I've turned off touch to wake and raise to wake etc and still need to charge twice a day unless I let it go to extended mode.
he way exaggerates the battery life. i just keep mine in extended mode. also after a few days people say battery life gets better
wait how long does yours last? mine lasts only a day and a half with extended mode enabled from 100-0
Mine's around 16 hours in daily mode but it means I can't sleep with it on without a top up which is okay but it means I'm charging it while I shower and usually once more to top it up. Hopefully wear os 3 helps with the battery life when it comes out.
During the night I only lose about 15 % battery life if I turn on the DND mode and I charge it normally the next day before bed time :) BUT the first few days I had major battery problems as well. I had to charge it twice a day as well.

@@vipinnanhe my galaxy watch 4 46mm gives 1.5 days with all functions open. I just turn it off during night. Hoping for battery to improve in upcoming updates.

Well there is not much you can do. Just try and reset the watch and see if that helps otherwise I would suggest the tech support

It is a genuine leather strap but a silicon strap is still more suitable for workouts because all of the swear and salt
