Wow you got it! Man my first smart watch was a Fossil Gen 3. Such a Fossil designed watch. If only it came WearOS 3... interesting they're adding Alexa to fill the gap with the kinda broken Google Assistant.
Chigz what you think about the upcoming Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra (has bigger screen) which I heard will be cheaper than the FOSSIL 6

Good question, I have 2 watches which I wear as my daily drivers. Depending on the situation and what im doing that day. Normal working day, I wear Apple Watch, as I prefer the quickness of the notifications and it has a few third party apps which I rely on for work. For an active day, going out, training or working out, or even special events, I wear the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, as I prefer the health tracking and sleep tracking and it looks a lot smarter on the wrist for events etc.
Very interesting I was hesitating between galaxy 4 and Garmin, at the end I got galaxy 4. It's good but the sleep tracker is complete rubbish. It doesn't record if you are wake at night or in the morning for 2 hours and you busy doing something else. It continue to pretend you are asleep. Totally unreliable. You should test that in the Garmin. Maybe I should switch to it.

This watch is an android, not a weat os, therefore you can't stand alone Bluetooth your phone calls which sucks. Great watch to me but nothing on the Fossil 6.
Bezel too big and screen too small for a watch that’s retailing at £280-300 in UK.😢

GW4 looks more minimalist and elegant IMO
Fossil knows style, and this watch looks like a beautiful traditional watch especially compared to the boring GW4 style.

Not much differences from the 4100 & 4100+. Supposed to be 40% more faster than 4100? 🙄....I don't believe it.
That bezel is crazy & makes analogue watchfaces look awful. Was really excited about this one, but I can't look past the bezel 👎
Wish we could see little to no bezel wear OS smartwatches that can at least be comparable to the Apple series 7 watch...🤷♂️😔
The bezel is why it doesn't need charging so much. Got 30hrs out of mine yesterday without using any low power modes.
@@jamiemonkey1362 my gw4 classic has no visible bezel, larger screen than the fossil, & can get more than 30hours with everything switched on. It's just poor design in my opinion.

Chigz, I'm not impressed with the price nor size of this watch. My TicWatch Pro 3 is King of Kings. Even the Tic E3 is a more deserving watch to wear then this. I'm 40/60 with this watch.
yeah if you like cheap looking/feeling watches maybe. this watch actually has style and quality components.

Yes google maps is supported.
@@blessonmathai i use the older version. Less memory and cpu and is a little sluguish. Newer cpu will solve it. I charge it daily on work start (homeoffice). Notifications from outlook, gmail, teams ans ocasional answer written or dictated, etc, use it on my daily walk workout (30 to 45m) with activity tracking and also spotify control from mobile phone. Always on display and bluetooth always on and reaches night about 30 to 40%. Google maps i tried some time ago and was ok. Gps on workout is precise so should not be a problem. In my case notifications is somewhat heavy usage since all work related is via teams. Quite happy with my fossil sport(quality vs price), even if it is far from being perfect.
