Naghihintay - Florante Aguilar feat. Charmaine Clamor & Arwen Lawrence

What if we wrote a harana song today? What would it sound like? What if we use contemporary harmonies and chord progressions they didn’t use back in the days? And why not play around the traditional habanera rhythm? Will it still be a harana song? And what if it were sung by women instead of men?
Naghihintay is a song I wrote with these questions in mind. Featuring Charmaine Clamor and Arwen Lawrence, the song imagines what might be going on from the other side of the window.

"What If" . . . . I absolutely love that idea, and the creativity and effort in which it was pursued.
