I just came back from Puerto Vallarta and have spent this week fired up about making the transition to exiting the life of being an employee and traveling more. Great seeing Kathy. I have the same family concerns regarding my Nomadic Lifestyle. A mother's fear.Grown sons who get me. Aunts (like sisters) some outspoken. Some just praying. Some just talking sheesh behind my back, with love, I might add.

I was able to watch just a few minutes of the video.🎉 No to living in Mexico. Mexico city is running out of water, 💦 we saw in the news today. Residents are buying water 💦, sadly. Thankfully I have residency in central America, since 1999. I took a nap today........ From the Ozarks drinking free fresh spring water 💦, just the 2 of us

So true, some cars and homes can be balls & chains. The freedom to have variety is enormous. I think it gives us the choices to evolve. Housesitting & traveling opens the doors to possibilities. If you decide to buy or stay in one abode Now you have an abundance to choose from that doesn’t sap your ability financially to live the life You want. It’s not about living a “Default Life”. 🦋
I’m in DC and no home, I was thinking about Airbnb but this house sitting seems doable. I do have a full time job. Can that work

I had a great experience on the bus in Mexico but it was quite a few years ago. I was part of a tour group but fearless me went offscript on my own to explore. I could not believe how kind the people were in the public sphere. That was the best experience for a person like me, a Black woman, treated with simple respect and kindness unconditionally. I didnt even know until I was there that I wwas retreating away from something and the something was just not being invisible or hypervisible. I was just another human being, obviously a guest foreigner in need of help but not perceived as a threat or a reason for antagonism by anyone I met. Incredible experience...and then I climbed Chichen Itza. Go!

I have a cpap machine. And medications. Hard to do only a carry on. Packing for a trip is SO stressful for me!!
I took my mom to Mexico City with carry-on luggage only( she finally understands the freedom on this) I put her cpap machine in a zipper tote bag, medicine in a zip lock in the tote bag and her cross body purse fit in her tote bag. That tote fit under her seat on the airline. When we got settled into our air b and b, we walked to a local store and bought the water for the cpap machine! Two bags and go!
Absolutely, weather leaving or returning, We set the boundaries. We teach through our actions. Our family, children, & friends don’t hear what we say But they learn by what they see us doing. Keep on 💃🏿💃🏿
