    No long press functions will work on a tablet. Desktop browsers all have long press functions and so focus and zoom are only possible on a cell.

    Thank you for the detailed video regarding browser remote setup. It works great! I love using this when shooting talking head footage of myself, as it saves time, and media space.
    Question:
    Is it possible for numerous iPads/cell phones to monitor the camera output with browser remote?

    • @CanonUSA
      @CanonUSA  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello:
      You can find details on the Browser Remote setup on pages 170-172 of the camera manual here: Canon.us/z3u9v. You have the option of signing into the camera under one of three User Names (Full, Camera or Meta) Each User Name will provide access to certain screens within Browser remote. Full allows access to all Browser Remote screens while the other option splits camera operation between Camera and Meta screen where you can enter Meta data.
      If you have other questions, our Cinema support agents are happy to assist you 24/7 at 855-246-3367.
      We hope this information helps.

    Should I purchase the C200 as my first Cinema camera, or should I wait for the R5? I currently have a 5dMKIV and I shoot corporate events, weddings, and short films.

    • @CanonUSA
      @CanonUSA  Před 4 lety

      Hello Mr. Surtify:
      Your best approach may be to review the specifications and features of the EOS R5, when it is released, to those of the EOS C200. You will then be able to decide which camera has the best combination of features, capabilities and cost that will meet your individual needs. Our Canon Authorized Dealers will be able to help with feature and price comparisons. You can locate your nearest dealer through the link here: Canon.us/cdm6q.
      We hope this helps!

    Hey Canon, So In minute 8:19 I noticed that from his phone it connected easily. I went through all the process and did the same steps but when I finished typing the IP Address browser tells me that it "requires a username and password. Your connection to this sit is not secure." Since there is no explanation about this in the video I just clicked sign in, without any username or password and it took me to a "Please Wait" white screen page but never switches to the browser remote. any ideas?

    • @CanonUSA
      @CanonUSA  Před 3 lety

      Hello Robin!
      Slow motion and Pre-recording are both Special Recording Modes found in the [Recording Mode] submenu. You can only have one Special Recording Mode active at a time. This means that Pre-recording cannot be used in conjunction with Slow-Motion recording. (See page 115 of your camera manual for details)
      We hope this information helps.

    Its appears that when you're shooting in 4K and activate "slow motion recording" the camera's resolution switches to 1920x1080, but when you go back to "normal" recording, the resolution stays at 1920x1080 and you have to manually switch back to 4K. Is this the case or am I missing something? I guess I'll have to be vigilant and always remember this in the heat of the moment!

      @CanonUSA  Před 6 lety

      Hello:
      Depending on your camera’s operating mode and settings, some menu items may not be available. Such menu items do not appear or appear grayed out. Remember you can use only one special recording mode at a time. You may want to reset your [Recording Mode] back to [Normal Recording] to be able to see all available Special Recording modes. These are described on page 114 of your camera manual.
      If you have questions, please contact our Cinema support agents who would be happy to walk you through this feature. Owners and users of Canon Cinema gear can access support at 855-246-3367, 24 hours, 7 days a week, excluding holidays.
