How would you suggest exposing exteriors? Landscape shots? Just be sure not to clip highlights or lose shadows?
Would love to see a normal 4K signal out not RAW of the Canon C500 or low bit rate 4K internal recording.
In real world use, it is best to generally overexpose to 40-45 ire as opposed to Canon's suggested 34.3%?

GIVE US A 10-BIT UPDATE! Highly considering selling this and buying ANY other camera to get that 10-bit SD recording option.
Aren't there better colors in 10 bit vs 8 bit@MEDiAgamer? Say I'm delivering online but want to shoot flat and color my footage. Wouldn't I achieve better results with 10 bit codec?
You have 10 Bit in 4K 60 FPS RAW Recording. ;)

Any idea how to get my OSD back? Was shooting raw at a wedding via hdmi and an e50 monitor. Noticed my card was low, so I paused and went over to mp4 main recording mode, my c200 is a brick now. I have OSD set to on in the media mode, but there’s no OSD at all. Any idea what I need to do?

Hi Jem, I have the C200B and using the Zacuto Gratical as my viewfinder. However it does not work in 60p mode. Do you know if I can make my SDI or HDMI 30p even though I am shooting 60p Raw?

When making changes under the "Custom Picture" settings - ie. Color Matrix, Sharpness, etc. - do those selections affect the RAW footage? Or does it only affect the MP4 footage?
Hi Ethan. For RAW footage, the final settings like brightness, sharpness, color space and gamma are determined when you develop the RAW using the Canon Cinema RAW Development software. So if I wanted to shoot in RAW using the Production Camera color matrix, how would I do that? I don't see that as an option in Cinema RAW Development.
How do you do any of this with the C200B? No EVF no monitor?
I see there isn't an option to send a lut to HDMI, what image am I seeing on an external monitor? Is it clog 3? I'm shooting in raw 10bit btw

Can you send me a C200 for review!?
I accidently recorded in 50p when I was set at 23.98fps. The issue was I was adjusting settings to get my HDMI monitor to work with the C200. When I got it to work, I did not realize the system changed automatically to 50p. Is there a way to use this footage with 23.98fps footage? Or, should the whole project be shot as the same 50p? It's a short film in the U.S.

where do you find Canon Log 2 ?
Hi there. Only Canon Log 3 or Canon Log are available on the EOS C200. We hope this answers your question.
C-Log 2 will be recorded while RAW recording.
All settings you make are not effecting the RAW recording. They are effecting just your .MP4 recording.
color matrix and all of that stuff is blacked on mine...weird, all i have is canon log 3 and canon log and off

You may want to verify whether you have the [Preset] menu option to [Off] If you have selected a [Preset] some of the other options under the [Custom Picture/HDR menu tab will be grayed out. See 10:28 in this video or page 129 in the C200 manual.

When I switch back to Raw, the frame rate is greyed out and can't be changed. Why would that be?

Hello! You will need a monitor or viewfinder to make adjustments to the camera settings and frame your video.
Why would you choose blue peaking when your scene is so blue? I would choose a color that is not in the scene.

The camera provides you with 4 different colors for the peaking feature. This allows each user to select the color that works best for them.
