No one mentions Tony Blair and the Saudis, but they take over a football club or hold a golf tournament and the usual suspects start crying and asking stupid questions.
What's your point Clive T? Trade in the last 10 years with Saudi Arabia has risen by 47% Tony Blair hasn't been in power for 16 years - move on!!
And they are buying Man united and theres not even a peep from anyone.
And it’s hardly mentioned that PIF invested about £400 million to McLaren’s F1 team!
I love the fact that the human rights in America are still terrible with the corrupt police, racism and what not
The Queen and King too
Love Super Mac. Loyal to the Toon still 50yrs on. A great ambassador for the Club
Loyal to the toon ffs he pissed off to arsenal in a jiff .
@@rokerlad49 Gordon Lee sold him because he didn't like "stars"
@@rokerlad49 He was sold, you tool
he was sold because he was knackerred, and sold at a good price. he was my hero, i stopped going when it was said he was sold because gordon lee didnt want , but i think the truth came out much later.
I don't can't stand the arrogant man
I remember watching an England game and Malcolm MacDonald (Super Mac) got 5 goals. A record I believe.
And dropped next game Revie never liked him for some reason
V. Cyprus at Wembley. 1975 from memory.
Lovely to see super Mac 👍
Watched him on his debut … instant hero and still is … Super Mac
Legend!
CANNOT BELIEVE HOW TIME FLIES HE IS ELDERLY NOW IT SEEMS JUST A FEW SECONDS AGO HE WAS A GREAT FOOTBALLER
Great player 👏
Up the Saudi mags. Super Mac we love you
A great player.
My Hero
Watched Macdonald when he was at Arsenal single handedly take apart what was back then, a very good West Ham side. He was frightenly quick inhis hay day.
Interestingly the another Newcastle centre forward hero was Jackie Milburn who was a professional runner before taking up football.
Great interview with Supermac. Lovely introduction from Nigel, and the nice thing is that Nigel asked good questions and allowed Malvolm to answer.
I knew he was fast and remember him winning the 100m in superstars but I didn’t realise just how fast - wow! Nice to see Malcom.
Me too. I remember watching it. I was twelve. I always thought his time was 11 seconds but it seems it was faster.
Been in charge over a year and still bang on about it
And why does a year passing make ANY difference? the subject doesn't disappear after a set time does it !
Hero!legend still remember when he shrugged the burnley defender off in the semi final at hillsbourgh to score in a 2 nil win.
Bread and circuses whilst all around crumbles
When you are running the 100 m at Olympic qualifying pace there is no denying that’s quick and on top of that was a prolific goalscorer too.
Ashley told staff to charge SuperMac for a Newcastle shirt when he was covering a match for radio and the press wanted a picture, so he came to the club upstairs at the BBC to watch the game and I had a lovely time chatting till 12.30 am !
When I played football in my backgarden in the early seventies, I was Malcolm Macdonald. I idolised him!
Mac Legend, so class!
Legend
Wish I had the chance to see this guy play
A boyhood hero, got to meet him, treated me to lunch, bought me a pint in his local, absolutely lovely man, true gent.
Saw his first goal in league football in 1968 fulham (his home town) v palace .
Class.
Nice to see an old Fulham Borough man do so well, and also a manager of our great club too, Fulham Fc forever......
One of the only matches I left early from. 3 down courtesy of Gordon Davies, Dean Coney and Ray Houghton. I’m not a fair weather supporter, it’s just that I Had the hangover from Hell. 🤪
Just stop paying to watch foolsball ,simple
I’ve always got time for supermac, what a legend👏
And still loyal to Newcastle. Great player from my era.
Nigel should keep his nose out of football
Legend ⚫️⚪️🥇⚫️⚪️
My first hero ever.
great player and character, he only left newcastle because gordon lee effectively forced him out, lee did a good job at st james but he would also jump ship in 77 to take the everton job
he was great at the arsenal
Unfortunately he never won a major trophy at a Newcastle or Arsenal.
It's not sport anymore
Supernac legend
super mac what a player he would be priceless now the best days of my life staying up late on a sat night watching match of the day with my top deck shandy
Keep the English premier League English ? Has he been living under a rock for the last 30 years.
And it’s okay for governments around the world to deal with the Saudi’s on every other level of business, but not for Newcastle on football. 🤷🏾♂️
I remember back in 95 he came into my bar while I was counting a bag of 5ps into the till, he lost his patience after 10 secs and stormed out in the huff.
Pull a pint first , count when it’s closed
Dipstick, you’re there to make new money, not count the old, do that when you aren’t busy FFS
Bad customer service in your bar then.
I mean their birth rates are set to replace you so why not be completely owned by them.
Great to see the back of cA$hley
Loyal to the toon ..😂😂😂
04.58 - Well put your money where your pride is 🙂
Super macdonald .I wished he played for bristol city
Money will kill football
It already has for thw working class.
look how expensive tickets are, especially season ones...
meanhilw footballers are earning anywherre from 50-200k+ a week.... per week.... per week......
So is Newcastle going to become the Islamic center of the UK.. With all that entails, no alcohol, prayers 5 times a day..the cultural enrichment for money is exceptable
That's Leicester
Put down the glue david
I'd rather be losing under British ownership, than winning under foreign ownership.
I thought it was supposed to be a team sport, not based upon financial accountancy.....
How naive of me.
How many teams have british ownership, its not many 😂

Crumbs his red nose has seen a few ales pass below it.
Pisshead
Wow I’ve not seen him for years he was a big player back in the day. Sorry Malcom I do disagree with the takeover because it should be taken over by a British company basically from Newcastle. I am a Watford supporter and most of our players in this country now are foreign, and it should be more home grown, ok Watford took on Luther Blissett who was from the Caribbean, but Luther came here 12 years before he became a footballer and he worked his way up to get where he got. But most of todays foreign footballers are flown straight here to play in our leagues. I’m so glad I don’t follow football anymore nor watch it, I have no interest in something that was taken from our poor children. My brother was a coach for over ten years for his local village and he never got one scout from any club in the league during his time coaching, and my brothers club was always near the top of their league plus they won it many times plus the main cup. That’s the main reason he quit. Why waist your money going to foreign players that will make their national team better than ours. If your financially supporting todays football you are supporting the destruction of our young stars of the future. Simple!
Rubbish. Look at MA now. Evicting Coventry City from their own stadium.
Our new owners have done more for the poorest people in Newcastle than Mike has done in his 15 years.
It's part owned by British owners as well it also includes Reuben brothers who've had a massive influence on Newcastle even before the take over and Amanda staverley own 20%
How does having foreign owners mean we don’t have British players? Since the takeover we’ve signed Trippier, Targett, Burn, Pope and Gordon…all English 🤔
Your club is owned by italians who also own udinese
@@aarondunn332 you really don’t understand my point above do you, most clubs in this country are foreign owned, and most clubs in this country mainly have foreign players. And it’s effecting our national team due to the lack of players to choose from. These rich people buying clubs don’t do it for nothing, they have to make a huge profit before putting money back into the club, at first it seems great but watch my space. Look what happened to Watford when their foreign owners took over, it was great at first but after a couple of years it changed not for the better but for the worse. Before the eighties it wasn’t about money like it is today, the premier League followed by Sky sports was the destruction of football creating a huge number of bankrupt clubs. Since then our young children lost out to foreign players due to the lack of interest from scouts because it was cheaper to buy foreign than train up our youths. Look at Watford football club their stadium was owned by their sponsor Benskins Brewery, Benskins donation to Watford every year in the early days was the equivalent of attendance money on top. Benskins never ever took money out of Watford, Benskins sponsored Watford from the late 1800’s and Benskins only sold victorsge road in 2001. You see it wasn’t about the money like it is now sadly. Benskins sponsored Watford for over 100 years and owned Vicarage road for over 80 years. Look at the difference to football since the big money took over in the early 90’s. It’s destroyed football in this country.
strange how the 'saudi investment group' said they weren't part of the saudi royal family (pif) in the uk, but when they got into the usa courts over a legal issue with liv golf, they claimed 'saudi investment group' were the (pif) 'saudi arabia public investment fund'. on this basis alone, they should be forced to sell nufc. sorry mags, but your owners are liars and are not fit to run a club in the prem.
Salty much?
@@CJ-ih4oh So your takeaway from SIG lying, and Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud being directly linked to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a journalist remember, is to think that I'm being salty ? please, take your mental health problems to a professional that can help you with your issues. Because my friend, they are plenty.
Wheres the rules saying it matters?
@@frankdux5693 ffs, the prem league asked them for an explanation of the ownership structure of SIG, and they lied to the prem league. honestly, what the farks wrong with you ? but this is why it matters. the saudi owners of nufc who have just sentenced 10 of their own judges to death for being too lenient to women’s rights campaigners. the blood is literally dripping through st james park.
@@tam8197they didn't lie pif explicitly structured to be run by someone with a Saudi minister title but with no other duties the premier League were completely aware this was a none issue that died if death 2 days after it was trumpeted about you just swallowed the cool aid
Love Newcastle lived and worked their couple of years but sorry every time that ball hits the net I don't hear the crowd I hear the screams of the journalist being chopped up alive this country is selling it's very sole and identity
😂😂😂😂 so every time you use your mobile phone do you hear the screams of the teenagers being exploited in the mines in Africa? 😂😂😂😂
Do you put petrol in your car? Use plastics?
Do you hear the screams when you are travelling in a car owned by you or someone else which is run on oil from Saudi Arabia?
I wonder if they hear the screams of the kids in the sweat shops in Asia when they put their shirt and trousers on in the morning? Or the cows in the abattoir being slaughtered for their dinner? He must hear a lot of screaming 😂😂😂
Hmm, do you hear the screams of motoring journalism? PIF are the majority share holders in Aston Martin as well. Funny how that’s never brought up.
Who the fuck is that over Macs left shoulder 😮
Doesn't look to interested that character
Enjoyed that. Especially as i thought he died years ago !! Top player.
Better than Kane could ever hope for and sheria
