Interviewer: Jamie, what's your favourite food?
Jamie: Manchester have never dominated Europe.
During the war....... lol Liverpool will never eclipse or be as big as UTD and thats from a neutral lol
@Dave Stephenson Bullshit...For one thing you had to win your league, no 4 entries from a country etc. So in the knockout phases it was a straight knockout, you couldn't lose a match and go on to win it. Best team they had to beat was Hamburg?? So how you explain them beating Real Madrid in the 81 final and Roma in the 84 final in Roma's own stadium? Your lack of knowledge is staggering, probably born in Surrey in the 90's and jumped on the Man U bandwagon
@Dave Stephenson Sour grapes much?
@@TheFewzz u obviously dont no football do u. Liverpool in total have won more cups than any other english team!
@Dave Stephenson OK so how many teams from England could Just even qualify for it in the old days compared to how many can qualify for it now?

That's all they have. They're still behind Man UTD in titles. They'll have 19 soon, UTD has 20.

🤣🤣🤣
This interview just confirms that all things aside Mancs and Scousers have more in common than we would like to admit
“Tourist Attractions?”
Neville: “The universities”.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
fight me like a man Liverpool has more Universities than any other city in the U.K. outside of London and also has the most Grade II listed buildings outside of London. Home to the biggest Cathedral in the U.K. and fourth largest in Europe, the docks, the Albert Dock, the Three Graces, the Cavern Club, Mathew Street, Museums coming out of your arse, art galleries...Liverpool by far is the better place to visit for tourists 😁
@@darrena5384
Liverpool has 4 Universities.
Manchester 5.
Birmingham, Glasgow, Edingburgh all have 6. So your wrong on that. But as a neutral i've always preferred Liverpool over Manchester. Not sure why but there seems to be a buzz there that you don't find in Manchester.
Gaz Universities are hardly tourist attractions though anyway really are they? We have the liver buildings, St. George’s hall, the Albert Dock, 2 cathedrals, some GREAT museums.. to name a few 🤷♀️ Liverpool is a MUCH more historic city to Manchester and that’s fact. Not that we have to compare them anyway.. they’re 2 great cities. It was just a bit of banter haha!
@@TheBeeseven Sure but there is LIPA too to add to the Uni, Hope, JM and Edge Hill

I'm a Liverpool supporter but The Haçienda was a huge influence on my life! Manchester nightlife truly shaped dance culture.
The Hacienda nightclub was based on a nightclub in America. I remember watching a programme about it. The whole club/dance scene originated in America not taking anything away from the Hacienda though.

What make them dance all night? 😁
6:22 towards the end of this clip is the Truest Fact in English Football History
Because the period they would of dominated they went against the greatest side of players in history.
They did dominate. They made at least the semi finals almost every year from 99-09. So 10 years on being the top 4 in Europe, whilst winning it twice. And you could also include 10-12, where United made it to the semis and the finals twice.
Oh please. That's like saying Liverpool dominated because of the pass back rule still being in effect.
Ethan Draper umm no. I said they dominated because within 10 years they won it twice and were in the finals 3 times. More than any other team. So yeah, mine actually has logic
@@lukewest9513 What? I wasn't responding to you. I'm saying that claiming United didnt dominate Europe because we didn't have the referees is ridiculous. It would be as ridiculous as saying the only reason Liverpool dominated was because of the pass back rule.
i love to see both of them. seems like they got strong friendship despite of different clubs they are standing for.
Can’t believe Gary conceded the music point so quickly: Oasis, Stone Roses, The Smiths, Happy Mondays, Joy Division, The Chemical Brothers....
Yes but The Beatles. It's an insta win, letem have it
Feisty Don’t you mean... Let it be?

Fan: Can I take a picture with you?
Jamie: Have you ever dominated Europe?
As far as best managers go it's Bill Shankly first. He achieved something that was truly amazing, took Liverpool from the second division and made them into champions of England and left the club dominating for years to come. He made Bob Paisley the manager he was and created the Boot Room, Liverpool wouldn't be where they are now without him. He's then followed by Fergie, Matt and Bob.
Gotta love this trio
'Hilda Ogden's got one'
And where was she from?
Liverpool.

Gary Neville, God love him 🤣
Cant we appreciate we as a country have two awesome Northern Cities!!!! Great football,Great music & Great night life🖐🖐
I’m from Manchester and there’s a lot more variety of clubs than Liverpool but Liverpool is a lot safer for sure
I have to completely agree with Gary's take on the Manchester music scene in the late 80s/early 90s as a collective. Yeah, the Pool had the Beatles but never is a specific 'Liverpool Scene' ever sprouted up. So defo Manchester on that one.
Merseybeat?
"What made them dance like that?"☠️
Fergie couldn’t dominate in Europe because the foreign teams had more technical players. In England his teams were so fit and athletic that they’d power through everyone. Couldn’t do that in Europe
Thats your answer they "powered through"
It was very competitive as well when Real Madrid, Milan, Bayern and Juventus had very strong teams. Hard to win one let alone dominate
Manchester United got were lucky to win 2008 champions league final chelsea dominated that game they only won it because john terry failed to score the winning penalty in the penalty shootout
Keyuante Johnson definitely
What many people forget is that Sir Matt had a very young team that would have most likely dominated Europe but sadly that wasn't to be, starting from scratch 10 years later he lifted the European Cup, the first English team to do so, Sir Matt paved the way for English clubs into Europe and that was even done against the Football League's wishes at the time.
Why have they stopped videos like this? These are breath of fresh air and something different
The question about Uniteds poor record in Europe is a good one considering how long they were dominant in England to only win 2 champions league's in that time is a big underachievement
Ah, Gary and Jamie banter. You love to see it

Honestly if the Munich disaster never happened United would have shared a dominance in Europe with Real Madrid in the early years of the European Cup
If Hillsborough hadn’t of happened Kenny would of stayed at Liverpool longer and we would of continued with the success and dominance into the 90s. Just guess work
if john terry didn't slip in the penalty shootout in 2008 champions league final Manchester United wouldn't have won the champions league that season
Michael Myers not true tbf. He left then cause he knew the club was a mess. He knew that’d be the last time he could win it with them
