Oh goodness Ryan, there should be no pressure in producing your vlogs, there is nothing boring about your vlogs, they are always fun to watch. Never feel guilty for taking a break, we all need a break from things we do. Sometimes I wonder how you can find all those words to describe what you are doing at the time. I have a blog, sometimes it is hard to find things to write about, I guess I am taking a break right now....breaks are needful!!
It's good for you to take a little time to catch your breath and recharge your own internal batteries. You've been helping Billy and your parents, and you've had a few hiccups with your car and equipment. It's really okay. Life happens. I love your videos. You're NEVER boring, and the views of France are amazing. I have learned the word "brocante" (sp?) from you and Billy. I wish you would teach a French word or phrase in each video. I suggested that MO do the same with Berber. I studied English, Spanish, German, and Latin in college and now try to understand what little French comes through in your videos. I wish it were more, and you could share the language as easily as the vista's around France.
We use gravel on our roads for ice and snow, so cracked windshields happen all the time here. Trying to reduce the environmental impact of salt or chemicals. We have companies that come out and replace the windshields while you’re at work. In and out in 20 minutes. Very nice to have services that come to you!
@@LCNWA They also do that here in France and they will also come and collect the car at your workplace but that happens mostly in bigger towns , and Phil said that the garage was not far away, so that might be the reason why Ryan just took it there .

I live in the Bay Area in California and its so interesting to watch people do their every day activities even as mundane as it may seem to you, it has all been interesting to me as someone who has never traveled outside the US. I love channels like yours that give me a glimpse into life outside my own, it is fascinating and being able to learn about French culture and language has been a delight to say the least! I just wanted to give my 2 cents since I can see that you;re worried that your vlogging is boring or we might not be interested so I just wanted to let you know that even if youre driving around in the car and just talking about your struggles, I will still watch it cuz it feels like a friend telling us about their worries. Ryan fix the bumper with a true Canadian method get a roll of duct tape what it around the bumper to hold the bumper in place. You could have super glued the windshield long term fix until your ready to spend the cash
Cracked Windscreens happen, not bad luck, just life. I had a stone chip a couple of years ago, one night it got cold and as the water that was in the stone chip froze and expanded, it turned into a big crack.

Be happy it's only 95 euros. I had the same last October, on a rental car, my deductible was 500 Canadian dollars, I ended up paying out of pocket almost $600. At least my insurance premium won't go up... Ah first world problems... 😜

I had a stone fly up and put a hole and small crack in my Jeeps front window when I'd had it for less than a week. A repairman came to my workplace, drilled out that small area filled it in with resin. Everyone told me I should've had my window replaced, that it was going to crack when winter came. That was in 2005 and I still have the Jeep, it's never been kept in a garage and the window (windscreen) is fine. I live in a cold Northeastern state with freezing cold winters.

It was/is always a good idea to drive French cars in France. They are 'cheap' and easy to keep going then with your friendly local garagist. Or at least that's what we found. They don't really do foreign cars. Sensible people really. And I really enjoyed your gentle walk around the park.

Everybody gets cracked windshields. A lot of people drive a long time before getting a new window. Usually insurance deductible is the same as the cost of a new windshield.
Hi Ryan, I was confused when you spoke of your wind screen. In the US we call that a windshield! LOL Yes, we get rocks that cause them to crack as well. Loved the video, you are always such fun and very positive as well. Hope your father is feeling better.
First, I love your cap ... my sons would commit mayhem to get their hands on one of such nice quality (in the U.S. it's hard to find quality hats). Second, you could never be boring no matter how hard you tried. And third, when I looked for the new Bantermime video and didn't find it I thought that perhaps you were doing them every other week to give yourself a bit of mental reprieve with all the editing ... honestly, if you only put out one a month I'd still wait for them.

Lovely to see the snow fall. Windshields tend to get cracked I've actually had mine replaced 3 times. There's usually Tractor Trailers or Dump Trucks out and out in the area where I'm at. I have used them they put expoxy resin that is clear then thecrack is gone from the break in glass! This side of pond we use SafeLite auto glass !

I had a crack in my windshield that was shorter than a dollar, so they filled it and the insurance covered the entire cost. Best wishes 🌸
In the States you can get your windshield repaired for about $30.00. They put glue in the crack. I'm a pro at getting it done.

Everybody gets cracked windshields. A lot of people drive a long time before getting a new window. Usually insurance deductible is the same as the cost of a new windshield.
Hi Ryan, I was confused when you spoke of your wind screen. In the US we call that a windshield! LOL Yes, we get rocks that cause them to crack as well. Loved the video, you are always such fun and very positive as well. Hope your father is feeling better.
First, I love your cap ... my sons would commit mayhem to get their hands on one of such nice quality (in the U.S. it's hard to find quality hats). Second, you could never be boring no matter how hard you tried. And third, when I looked for the new Bantermime video and didn't find it I thought that perhaps you were doing them every other week to give yourself a bit of mental reprieve with all the editing ... honestly, if you only put out one a month I'd still wait for them.
Stop saying your video is boring. I love the walk in the woods, seeing the paths, the sword in the stone, the lake and the view and sound of the dam. I loved that walk around the little village weeks ago in the light misty fog. You are chitchatting with us like we do with local friends and family. Cheers! 🥂

Lovely to see the snow fall. Windshields tend to get cracked I've actually had mine replaced 3 times. There's usually Tractor Trailers or Dump Trucks out and out in the area where I'm at. Luckily I don't have issues getting it fixed too. Good to see another video Ryan. Hope all is well with your parents. Lots of love from Florida
