I agree. If people want to save Tictok then they should be petinoing American businesses (I.E. Google, Microsoft, Apple, Etc..) to save the platform. Congress is just preventing forgien governments from spying on American citizens, which is their job! Allowing a platform that gives China the ability to spy on American citizens should have never been allowed in the first place.
I was thinking to acquire Apple and Googel in 2024.

@@nomanrafiq1000 Well that’s why he mentioned he was meeting with fellow investors. In case you didn’t know, this is quite often how these things work, they’re not bought by a single individual. You can think about buying those companies all you want, but it’s pretty much a guarantee that you don’t have the money or the access to others that do and who are willing to invest in a business with you.
Should the government ban an app? Probably not. Should TikTok be erased from our generational memory? Yes. Absolutely yes.
What makes me mad about is when trump said it should be banned they called him stupid and he had a good reason now those same ppl want to ban it but bc they want to censor us that’s the only reason

The fact that the man in the video is so upset over TikTok shows that it’s an issue. Social media as a whole is one of the most dangerous, evil, soul crushing things in the world today.

Yes. Chemically addicted. When you watch reels, regardless if it’s on Facebook, TikTok, CZcams or Instagram, there are reels that make you happy. When you’re “happy” your brain releases Dopamine. Your body’s chemistry associates dopamine as a reward. So when you see a funny video, that makes you happy, your body sees it as a reward. And it craves it more. Those social media companies know this. That’s why they only show you one or two videos you like and stick around for every 5-7 videos you watch. So your body knows it’s getting dopamine from those rare hits. You’re legitimately addicted to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook. And since the government is wanting to ban your source of dopamine, you’re mad. Quit doomscrolling. Live your life.
it used to be TV. 25-30 years ago there was so much awareness that the average american consumed 6-8 hours of TV per day. now it's just something else. We all struggle with plugging into something to turn our brains off and want to feel good/connected.

I hope not, mainly because some people use it as a form of entertainment. I like to use it to help promote some of our games we’ve got, I also post some music stuff on there… I don’t make a living out of it like some people in my generation does. If I wanted to make a living as a talking head or something… I would a) try and get a time slot on local radio, or b) try and get a time slot on local television
