Cavs should try and get the best trade possible thats a given. imo they should look at memphis way since the grizzlies are also considering starting over, and their relationship with Marc Gasol seems problematic to say the least.
Memphis receive: BKN pick, Isaiah Thomas, Tristan Thompson, Jr Smith, Channing Frye
Cavs receive: Marc Gasol, Mike Conley
this way Memphis gets to start over shedding their biggest contracts, even though its gonna be hard saying goodbye to their best players, and Cavs instantly improve both defensively and offensively.
Would you do it? Being on Cleveland or memphis side i'd like to hear if it seems a bit to much.

Razor58 Not Wade County. Blocking 1.0 shots a game at 36 years old with dead knees. King Wade is playing better d at 36 than Queen James at 33. Flash is the only hope they have at beating Celtics and Warriors. JR has been washed for 4 years, but he plays double Dwade's minutes shoots 35-38% from the field, and fatherprime averages double his points per game and is shooting close to 50% from the floor. Dwyane sacrificed everything for Queen James in Miami and without Dwyane bron would still be ringless. #MV3 If Wade starts and plays 30-32 minutes a night in playoffs they beat Warriors and 🐍 and midget Stephanie and donkey draymond and can't dribble better than elite rec ballers Klay. Playoff Wade is unguardable. Fatherprime never succumbs to FatherTime. You must of missed what Dwade did to Toronto in the 2016 2nd round playoff series. At 34 he was making 26 year old Demar Derozan look like a G league scrub.

Here's the thing, Lebron is a generational talent but that talent at times gets in his own head and in the way of the team. What I mean by that is whenever Lebron is on the team he tries to do it all; run the offense, play all the positions, get all the stats, play coach and Gm and at times that works but over time that starts to fester a toxic environment. Players get tired of being relegated to these sideshow roles where they can only shine when Lebron decides to share the ball with them. Management gets tired of Lebron dictating the rules, and most likely saying he will leave in the offseason if he doesn't get his way so they try to exercise their power and it causes more of a rift. It happened with the Heat and now it's happening with the Cavs. If Lebron leaves the team to go to the Lakers or Thunder or some other team the Cavs will probably go back to being non contenders because even with the toxic environment Lebron can carry a team to the playoffs but his one man show isn't enough to win it all when it counts, unless one of his teammates bails him out, especially against the Warriors. He forgets or ignores that no matter how good he is, basketball is still a team sport. To use the Warriors as an example of contrast, when KD went to the team he realized that the reason the Warriors are so successful is even with the talent they have each of the players realizes the system comes first, not any one player. He still gets monster stats at times but if you look at the Warriors they play unselfish ball, everyone works as a unit, and their stats show it. They all rebound, pass, defend (with varying levels of success) and give up the ball for the best possible shot. Till Lebron plays like that, there's always going to be problems on his team.
Granted I could totally be wrong and it easy for me to say all this from the safety and anonymity of a computer as someone with no actual basketball experience besides pick up games, but that's just my two cents on the matter from what I've seen and heard.

Ross Portlock I think your points are valid. Regardless of talent, a toxic environment produces toxic results. Kyrie experienced it and knew he could not thrive in Lebron’s shadow.
Isiah does not look happy in Cleveland and I feel his play is evidence of that. Lebron is a great player but I think he tries to hard to control the narrative in every circumstance as you alluded to. It’s not working and no one has the balls to tell him the truth.

ok. I'll say it. Trade LBJ right now. At least you'll get something for him.
    1. Holds the ball entirely too long, everyone knows this.
    2. Turnovers,sloppy ball handling.
    3. Misses more layups than my little sister.
    Sorry champ, you're leaving anyway.
