2023 Castle Hill Vintage Festival Episode #1

- Welcome back to Castle Hills Vintage Festival.
2023 certainly brought some rain to this event but it didn't stop the guys who really wanted to have a vintage event.
Episode #1 and this year I have a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone on hand and happy to share with you all some of the footage yet to come.

Thanks Jason for filming this and putting it on CZcams for us to watch for free. You sat out from competing so you could do it and that is a big sacrifice in my view. Well done on the drone footage.
Thank you Michael. It is almost impossible to race and create this level of content and as much as I missed driving, flying the drone around and capturing some of the shots you'll already seen is reward in itself. I miss not racing the cars I enjoy putting around this track with friends but being able to get videos such as this out for us to watch back and remember the fun is a good thing.
It really is one of the best looking tracks I've every had the pleasure of visiting. Great fun to drive too. The club does such an awesome job year in, year out.

These events provide great opportunities to share the cars on tracks some may never get to see and that's a reason to put in the effort

Thank you. Each time I get to an event like ours, Im thinking of new ideas and hoping each time to lift the bar a little higher. I really like how this one turned out also.
We are fortunate to still have tracks like Castle Hill and Knox for us to enjoy our vintage cars
Dude Jason some of these sequences are incredible - when you’re kinda straffing (sp?) along the track with buggies hitting jumps it’s beautiful!!! Wow man top notch all around👍👍👍
Thanks Wade. I spent a lot of time on the drone which meant I went without driving a single rc car. There's a bunch of footage to go through where I had my go pro out on the pole and there's a lot of action I'll get up in due time.
Im really proud of this one because I put a lot of thought into the shots I wanted to get.
Awesome is it gonna be a trilogy Jason? Man some of those cars look really dialed in.
There will be many more video ahead from both the Castle Hill Festival AND The Knox Vintage Bash as I have a lot of great footage which I have decided to break up into smaller videos. Im beginning to get the hang of the drone and it's a fun way to film and still in 4K
