Pilot & remote pilot here: I specifically use DJI drones for training and search & rescue. DJI enables me to be fully mission capable at all times. New drones often unlock new possibilities, so yes, it sure does feel like DJI has a direct connection to my wallet. I'd ask them to stop the drain, but then our capabilities would suffer. Other solutions (that are not super expensive) only make us partially mission capable. Thank you, DJI.

Coming from someone who bought the huge and heavy Mavic 3, I want to get this drone so bad. There’s just so many advantages to small drone like this. And the vertical video for TikTok’s and social media Paired up with longer battery life it’s just a plus
@@MichaelOrtega The Mavic 3 isn't 'huge and heavy' by any stretch of the imagination and if DJI claim 34 minutes flight time for the Mini 3, I guarantee it'll be about 24 minutes real world, as opposed to 35 minutes for the M3. The vertical camera is pretty good though.
@@MichaelOrtega i understand the size difference between mavic 3 and mini 3 pro but i have never had a problem with my phantom 3 that you cant fold or carry easily without a box but everyone has different ways of making videos so maybe others need compact drones. I personally like big ones because you can see them clearly from far away and are easy to repair and clean.

I crashed my Mavic Mini while traveling in Colombia last month. It was the 2nd day of a 2 week trip. It must have fallen 30+ feet after hitting a tree. When I finally found it, I saw that it was somehow completely undamaged and I went on to get some incredible footage throughout the trip. Honestly a shame it did not break though, then I could make the case to my wife I need the Mini 3 Pro! This drone looks incredible. EDIT: I sold my Mini 1 and Bought the mini 3 pro - so stoked.
This is honestly a great drone. Took very little to get it going right out of the box. DJI isn't sponsoring me to say this either. After about 5 minutes maybeee of flight time I felt comfortable enough to start taking video with it. Although the first few attempts at video had been no where near good I slowly started to see what works, what doesn't and the same would apply to anyone! I now started to feel comfortable posting some of my video to youtube. Stop thinking about the drone and start flying one! Don't miss out on your chance to own one.
Same here! It took me a while to get comfortable with it, but I've started editing and posting a few of my videos on CZcams. Its the first drone I've ever really flown though and I feel like I was able to pick it up quickly without any prior experience. Very user friendly!

@@jackholman17 when my dji spark is auto flying home from far, i often lower the throttle so the drone lowers as it flys home. it saves time and battery.

unpopular opinion, but do we really need to film everything we do? it seems like it's all in a desperate attempt to let other people know you're doing such epic adventurous things for validation. Just do the things. just live the experiences without worrying about how you're going to film it to prove to everyone your amazing adventurous lifestyle
This is one of the best drone in market and this checks on all of the boxes which is required for any creator... such a beautiful drone which can take unbelievable shots.. I am so unfortunate that I had purchased the Mini 2 just few months before Mini 3 pro got launched.... still sticking to Mini 2 for sometime now and hope that soon will be able to upgrade the drone as it will highly improve the video quality...
@@giantpeewee I guess he was mainly missing camera features just like me. It now has 4k60, D-LOG, a way bigger sensor and aperture and stuff like HDR recording. So there is much more than just a rotatable camera :) Its basically a smaller Air2S
First time drone pilot here, have to say the mini 3 pro is an excellent piece of hardware. I brought it to add to my professional photography and even though I’m new to it all, it is very easy to use. Scary but easy.

Permission necessary doesn't mean illegal. This is not a toy even though DJI loves that stores like best buy happily sell it like one. It's a professional tool. Professionals get permission, permits, and licenses. It's only illegal if you use it illegally.
How about a different kind of trailer? The trailer is pretty sick, but everyone is blown away by the scenery, the light, the atmosphere, the action, the places and the music. I really like somebody to make a more realistic trailer regarding to the most customers. That would be like: Music kicks in, Pirates of the Caribbean theme bad played on a flute. - 1. scene: Hyperlapse of the Drone lying in the box somewhere in a sideroom - days, weeks, months. - 2. scene: Slow-Mo of the customer plugging the USB-Cable to the Drone to update it, whilst the batteries are charging in the backround - 3. Scene: Hyperlapse of the drone in the box again. Close shot of batteries discharging automatically to extend battery life. - 4. Scene: Forever unedited shot auf a dirt hill with a tree on top, the customer filmed to try the flight modes 5. Scene: Back to the hyperlapse in the sideroom 6. Scene: Holiday, trekking tour, first day without rain. Droneshot of the customer standing at the ridge of a small mountain in a cloudy day looking to the drone to ensure everythings going right. Shot in downstream quality, edited on the smartphone quickly, finally downgraded to 720p by a messenger to safe data. 7. Scene: Forever unedited rough and shaky footage of the drone flying alongside the mountain ridge, while the customer fails to take a smooth shot. 8. Scene: Shot 200m above the ground of an average rural environment as the customer evolves to a Google maps pilot trying to do at least something spectacular with the drone. 9. @@x1c3x in short: drones need to be certified into special classes in order to do more than flying over green grass with them without costly licence. Although this regulation is already in place, there is no possibility for the manufacturers at this time to get their drones certified. Drones < 250g are still allowed to fly in a lot of scenarios.

Regulation doesn't ban flying over 249g. The advantage of 249g is not requiring FAA registration (saving 5$) otherwise all regulations are simular to over 249g

People are going into convenience stores and emptying the shelves into bags and not getting in trouble. For two years we watched cities. burn with no consequences. I've already made the switch from air 2s to mini 3 pro. Love the mini 3, although there are a few cons - not as stable in wind, no d-log, gets hot, etc. d-cinelike looks amazing after color grading, vertical gimbal, tilt-up camera are worth the trade off to me. Haven't flown the air 2s since getting the M3P
Im also thinking of getting this. This is better than the AIR 2S ? And how does it compare in features to the AIR 1 (original 1st release) which i have ? What are the major advantages compared to the AIR 1....if you could give me your feedback it will be very helpful in making my purchase.
If you're on a budget and not looking for anything fancy, the mini 3 is awesome. If you can spare the extra money, as a hobbyist, the mini 3 pro is best long term, as it is more versatile.
I love those promo videos. They travel around the world and shoot from places where does not matter if u use a mini1 or 3 pro, it will be beautiful.. :D 4k 60 fps and 1080 120fps is standard since 2018, the only new thing is that you can rotate the footage 90 degrees and shoot a video vertically like a noob

This is a very good small drone but I already have the air 2s. The top features I’d like to see next is: 1. Significantly quieter flight 2. Even better signal and anti-interference
Quieter is not possible with the same propellers size and weight. Either the propellers should be large, like on a helicopter, or the drone should be several times lighter. Maybe it could be possible to put a turbine inside of the drone with some noise insulation and to use streams of air instead of the propellers, but something tells me it's not easy to make and has its own disadvantages.
This would be my first drone. Do they normally sell out when they release? So preorders start as soon as they announce it or a few days later? What is the best site to order it from?
Looks and does what the other mavic pro's claim to do. Can't wait to see how "good" this obstacle avoidance is.. Extra battery life? Funny how it doesn't mention flight time.

I started with a dji spark and although it was small and flew great and made great vids and edits automatically by just choosing photos I still wished it was foldable and then earlier this year I purchased a mini3 from Best Buy and I love it it’s fast great photo and video and at about 50-60feet up no one even notices it in the air. I’m beyond happy with it, it’s got tones of features and I fly it every chance I get.

This drone is perfect for shooting inner cities or public places where the flying regulations ban drones above 249 grams. Excellent!
Regulation doesn't ban flying over 249g. The advantage of 249g is not requiring FAA registration (saving 5$) otherwise all regulations are simular to over 249g

@@MrMusic55123 Here in UK it's banned in all public areas & anywhere there are crowds or buildings within 100 meters if it's over 249 g or unless you have a drone license.

People are going into convenience stores and emptying the shelves into bags and not getting in trouble. For two years we watched cities. burn with no consequences. Yet people are worried about drone laws? I suggest you follow the law only when you absolutely have to. The rest of the time do whatever the hell you want just like our politicians.

I´ve recently bought one and I can say this little machine it´s awesome, a very capable aircraft despite it´s cola can size and 249g weight. 10/10.
I've already made the switch from air 2s to mini 3 pro. Love the mini 3, although there are a few cons - not as stable in wind, no d-log, gets hot, etc. d-cinelike looks amazing after color grading, vertical gimbal, tilt-up camera are worth the trade off to me. Haven't flown the air 2s since getting the M3P
Im also thinking of getting this. This is better than the AIR 2S ? And how does it compare in features to the AIR 1 (original 1st release) which i have ? What are the major advantages compared to the AIR 1....if you could give me your feedback it will be very helpful in making my purchase.

If you're on a budget and not looking for anything fancy, the mini 3 is awesome. If you can spare the extra money, as a hobbyist, the mini 3 pro is best long term, as it is more versatile.

They travel around the world and shoot from places where does not matter if u use a mini1 or 3 pro, it will be beautiful.. :D 4k 60 fps and 1080 120fps is standard since 2018, the only new thing is that you can rotate the footage 90 degrees and shoot a video vertically like a noob

As an owned of a DJI Mini 2 this looks amazinggggg!!!
This is a very good small drone but I already have the air 2s. The top features I’d like to see next is: 1. Significantly quieter flight 2. Even better signal and anti-interference
Quite is very hard to achieve if u want 4 rotors with plenty of power and speed.
Quieter is not possible with the same propellers size and weight. Either the propellers should be large, like on a helicopter, or the drone should be several times lighter. Maybe it could be possible to put a turbine inside of the drone with some noise insulation and to use streams of air instead of the propellers, but something tells me it's not easy to make and has its own disadvantages.

I started with a dji spark and although it was small and flew great and made great vids and edits automatically by just choosing photos I still wished it was foldable and then earlier this year I purchased a mini3 from Best Buy and I love it it’s fast great photo and video and at about 50-60feet up no one even notices it in the air. I’m beyond happy with it, it’s got tones of features and I fly it every chance I get.
