Michael Davis meets Bob Monkhouse

Comedy juggler Michael Davis's appearance on The Bob Monkhouse Show back on Monday, 11th February, 1985, in which he attempts to throw (and catch) at different times balls, a knife, a bowling ball, an axe, an egg, a meat cleaver, and an apple. You don't often get 15 minutes of a novelty act like this on adult television these days, and the fact that he's funny as well with great deadpan delivery is the icing on the cake.
On a side note, it's noticeable that American guests on this show tend to be slightly put off by the fact that British audiences don't generally burst into spontaneous applause quite as much as audiences tend to on the other side of the Atlantic. Once everyone's warmed up and in the groove, though, it all goes swimmingly.
