    Ferrari's First ever British F1 achievement was Driven by Britains first ever F1 world champion Mike Hawthorn, A significant piece of History. You should have mentioned it !
    Otherwise you did a great job in just 7 minutes, and you have a good speaking voice that conveys a meaningful message from that era

      Agreed! We've already been told about Mike Hawthorn and have put a video in the works dedicated purely to him!
      We appreciate the kind words too, thanks for the support!

    Very surprised you did not mention Piero Ferrari, who is the son still alive and carrying on the Ferrari legacy......🤔

      @WeirdRewind  Před 5 měsíci

      Yes! This video is specifically about Enzo and his life building Ferrari. However, when we create a video of Ferrari's current success, we'll be sure to include Piero! There's only so much we can squeeze into one video, but it looks like something we'll have to expand upon. We appreciate your comment, thank you!

    Sorry to say this, you have put a lot of work into this, but can you upload another version less the silly little clips. Seems to be American style, it just makes me just groan and click away. Sorry again. I mean the critisism in a postive way. Just tell the story. Maybe list one for British viewers and one for Americans?

      I like the "silly clips." Please include more. But when you do, make sure they are accurate and true. Glaring errors ruin good journalism.

    Discraceful !!!!! why you not once in this video ever mention the first ever British F1 world champion > Mike Hawthorn > Mike drove for Ferrari most of his career throughout the 1950's and on the 19th October 1958 at the Ain Diab circuit in Casablanca morocco driving a Ferrari Dino 246 F1 Mike Hawthorn became Britains first ever F1 world champion.

      Thanks for the info! Well, this video is solely focused on Enzo Ferrari. We didn't want to take the thunder away from him. Mentioning every all-time great that drove for Ferrari would have made this video rather long indeed!
      We could make entire videos on Mike Hawthorn, Niki Lauda, Gilles Villeneuve, Fernando Alonso, and Michael Schumacher; is this something you'd like to see?

      @@WeirdRewind what a lame pathetic answer , I did not ask you why you hadn't spoken at length about Mike Hawthorn, you speak conveniently, you talk at length about other drivers such as Antonio Ascari, you are English and failed to mention a very significant part of Enzo Ferrari's life and achievement and his friend --> Mike Hawthorn lived for long periods in Enzo's property and raced his Ferrari cars and went on to become both Ferrari's and Britain's first ever F1 Champion, you show photos of Mike Hawthorns great friend and team mate > peter colins who raced For Ferrari only in the latter part of the 1950's. both Peter and his wife Louise were giiven a property on Enzo's estate, Peter was a very great friend to Enzo's son Dino. Enzo was shattered when Peter lost his life.
      Peter died 3 August 1958 at the Nurburgring German Gran Prix. Enzo told Mike Hawthorn he was going to stop altogether his own F1 racing programme , Mike Hawthorn writes in his book champion year that he convinced Enzo to continue racing which culminated in Mikes victory in Casablanca and immediate retirement. Mike was devastated at the loss of Peter collins and phoned Louise after the race, Mike told Louise - "WE" did it !

      @susansimms2472 Aw! I don't think my answer constitutes as lame or pathetic! But you know what, Susan (may I call you Susan?), I feel inspired to write a script based on the living legend that is Mike Hawthorn. This is the power you have. A simple comment can lead us down a delightful, deep path of uncovering deep truths of our shared past. Thank you Susan! Keep supporting our page and lending your insights!

      @@WeirdRewind if you decide to write about Mike Hawthorn, steer clear of the website mike hawthorn website and the book Golden Boy they are awash with incorrect misinformation, also steer well clear of people who proclaim to own Mikes old cars, one is particularly very delusional, it is very sad indeed that people create a whole lot of hairy fairy garbage for their own attention seeking childish minds,.Also there is a garage in Farnham proclaiming to be Hawthorns garage, ( this garage has nothing at all to do with Mike or his father Leslie or their family ) the original garage ibuilding s still standing on East Street in Farnham, it is now occupied by a carpet shop a bathroom shop a sports shop a wine shop and pizza takeaway, it is situated very close to the Albion Pub on Hale Road where young Mike and his father Leslie would drink. For the past 4 years I have been doing in depth research meticulously into the ancestry of Mike Hawthorn all the way back to 1835, I have obtained a stack of legal documents and information that clearly show that there is a mountain of misinformation and garbage written about Mike and his mother winifred, unfortunately most of the people who knew Mike Hawthorn personally have now gone.
