Your going to have one extremely clean side of a truck lol
Yeah the tailgate of his work truck has to be the cleanest in the world lmao
😂😂😂😂
Foam only cleans so much. You could foam it a million times but some dirt only goes off through contact wash or as I like to call it, swirls wash.
🤣😂🤣😂
I loved the gold class. I was lucky to find some at a knock off goodwill store here and they were selling the bottles for 5$ a bottle. I got all 10 they had lol
Gold Glass is hands down the best value for money! I pick it as my winner because obviously the value for the money and it foams more than good enough!
Adam's Mega Foam 16 Oz= $15
Meguiars Gold Glass 64 Oz= $12
That’s all I’ve used for years and is the best hands down 😂
Thank you Josh for all the value you provide in your videos! VERY Informative!
You make the best reviews. I've been doing research the past 24 hours for an at-home-diy set up and once I found your channel, I've been able to adjust my shopping list for the better! Keep it up!!!
So nice to be able to know the real scoop on a product before you spend the money!! Great comparison videos! Very interesting to see which one comes out on top🙂
You have so much knowledge of pressure washers. Love to see you channel reach one millions subscribers
That was an awesome comparison, thanks Josh 👍😁
Great job 👏! Its nice to see which soaps will foam. I have used a couple of those same ones and get the same results you did!
You can never go wrong with rain x. I use all of their products
Lol I love when he scoops the foam and shakes it off the sound is everything.
Great Reviews! Thanks for narrowing my search!
By the way, good job on your videos, down to earth, transparent, informative, I know how hard it is doing these videos, I respect your work and follow you. You have inspired me on some stuff. Props , keep up the good work.
Bruh...
Love the videos !!!
You are AWESOME !!!
Your vids have answered so many of my questions. Props to you my man 💪
the best video on this topic. That is the cleanest truck, I've ever seen 🥰
Great information as always!
Amazing work. Great channel.
Great test I might be getting some of that RainX. That was amazing what it did for the price!
@IAMJOSHV I also think this is goign to be my soap after seeing all these. I'm wondering how you feel it works vs the Mr Pink for the paint and the car. Would you switch based on teh 1/4 the cost, I'd imagine for a pro that's a lot of savings!
Thank you for this comparison.
Hard working man here, your channel will blow up soon!
👏👏👏👏
Thank you 🙏
Great video. I’m so glad you did the rainx at the end with the 1.1 orifice. I’d love to see all the cheap products done with the 1.1 also. I just bought the 1.1 for my foam cannon because of your videos. Thanks man 💪 great videos
Do you use the 1.1 at all times?
Gold Class is where it’s at!!! Best bang for the buck! I use this on any of my black or dark colored vehicles.
Keep up the good testing, great video
Great work Josh. Finally a real world comparison. Mega foam in Australia costs $AUD130/gallon which is just over $AUD1.00 per ounce. I have access to Koch Chemie at a good price so would love you to add their Gsf. Thanks. Lloyd
Very good video, as always. Thanks
i used to mix a little bit of the spot free car wash stuff in with other soap when washing my car in the summer because the water would dry so quick. actually helped a lot. i didn't have a shady spot to do it back then.
Thank you sir for your service and dedication! Funny how hard we geek out on this stuff...my wife can't believe I have more than one car soap..lol!
Great review and thank you!!!!
The Gold Glass feels the smoothest when I do my contact wash after foaming it, like it lubricates the best and it also leaves the paint looking shinier as well. It by far does a better job than the Mr. Pink and the Mega foam at cleaning as well and *you can't beat it for the price. Just thought I'd share. 🤙🏽🤘🏽
I regretted buying a small bottle of Blue Coral. It's so bad that it doesn't even foam up in the cannon. Learned a lesson: if it ain't broke, don't change it. Will buy another bottle of Meguiars next time. Just detailed my car last night with a rare tub of #16 Mirror Glaze. That stuff is hard as concrete when applied. Perfect for brutal Texas weather.
Some people hate hearing that cheaper is better. They've been conditioned to believe the crapitalist propaganda

100% agree. It still looks great after being in the rain. I love it.
More than ultimate wash and wash?
I use Gold Class and will be looking at Mr Pink Thx 4 the info
Enjoy ur insight
Just got the engine cleaner gun
Looking forward to use
Plus ur favorite spray wax
Just ordered day
New to your channel and really enjoy it great job ty
Solos video... Great information. Thank you
Great video. Although me personally, I wouldn't mind waiting a few extra days for a daylight shoot. But I admire the commitment!
Awesome videos. Thanks for all the great info. I love using Mr. Pink because of the price and the smell. Been wanting to try the Adams but the price is holding me back.
I really like the idea of this test and the thought that went into this test. One issue I have with the test is the application method. Some of the soaps the gun has been primed and there are no air bubbles in the line. Other soaps there are a ton of bubbles in the line and that's all that is heard. The windows or in some cases the windows and the panels receive missed parts due to the amount of air bubbles. Having the line/soap cannon primed prior to spraying would have made this a much more solid test.
Appreciate you Josh🤜🏽
When I first started washing personal cars I used blue coral cuz it was cheap. I used to run it about 50/50 in my cheap foam cannon. I switched to gold class and really cut down on how much I use and I feel it clings wayyyy better
I’m impressed with black magic !!
Good luck on your channel just bought one.
I use that MAX POWER on dirty vehicles. Man they do a great job! I use 200-300ML in a foam cannon with my 1.1mm orifice. It’s weird yours was runny. Mine was giving that thick foam!
Great Vid, thanks man! it's seems that a good 1.1mm foam gun is much more important than the soap itself. With your 1.1mm gun all soaps looked great, even those who looked really bad on the other foam gun
Definitely bro , foam Cannon makes the biggest difference
Yea the 1.1 on the electric pressure washers makes a huge difference
Great video!!!!
That honeydo is legit the best all around though for cleaning / foam
Thumbs up and subscribed for the late night car wash.
Gods work right here
I've got a half full bottle of Meguiars Gold Class (that I still use today, occasionally) that I've been using for literally 10+ years. (I usually take my cars to a detail shop rather than washing them myself)
Could you do a foaming test like this one for the garden hose foam sprayers? Thanks 🙌🏼
Awesome thank you
I enjoy all of your reviews. That was very informative and the part 1 as well. When you do this kind of product review, if you can specifically mention which product is suitable for ceramic coated vehicle and which are not, that would be very helpful.
Hi thanks for the kind words! Any soap that is labeled ph neutral will be fine on ceramic coated vehicles! The neutral ph won’t don’t any harm to the coating! There are also a few ceramic infused soaps that would be a good choice for that. The ceramic part of them is questionable but they should be safe on a coated car!
Thank you very much. Your response popped up very quickly when I was watching pH testing of car soap from Obsessed garage. By the way, do i have to worry about presence of wax in the soap?
@@imjoshv
@@mesbahahmed8855 It wont hurt it. However any wax that is left behind will be sitting on top of the ceramic coating. So water and dirt will be reacting to the wax. Thats totally fine, just a heads up in case you see the water acting different on the surface. Once it breaks down youll be left with just the ceramic again!
love the Channel! thank you for what you do! helps so much!
question, what in your opinion, is the slickest, highest lubricity soap that you've tried?
Hard to tell really. Off the top of my head I would say the meguairs gold class…
@@imjoshvawesome thanks for the response! love the Channel!
I use the Gold Class as a car wash on all my cars for years, great stuff!
Awesomeness!
Hi Josh, loved your videos! Wondering why you're not using a wand extension on your pressure washer, is there a particular reason apart from better pressure? Thank you.
It’s mostly personal preference I had a foam cannon with the long 2 plus foot wand and it just feels awkward compared to the gun but don’t worry you don’t need the gun to foam! Any pressure washer wand will work fine just ease of use is all
They cool video thank does it matter how thick foam is for cleaning ? I would think if you rinse foam rinse agian you would get alot dirt off. My other question is have you used bilt hamber car wash or car pro reset should you use them regularly or use once every few washes ? And just use ph netural between
Great job! How bout foam test with the soaps with wax in them like Meguiars wash with wax , turtle zip products etc.
Thanks !!
You do a great job
Thank you
Excellent, nice 👍, thank you, NY
Thanks!!
for price/performance (foam thickness i mean) i'll take the Rain X High Foaming, and it's still cheaper than Black Magic Wet Shine! thank you for the test. anyway, if you don't mind, can you do quick test using 4 ounce of Rain X High Foaming on 1.25/1.1mm orifice? curious how thick it will be.
PS: sorry for my messy english
Keep it going especially with pressure washers like review for average working class citizen .I’m new to pressure washing and starting out from your reviews I like craftsman 1600, ryobi 1600 ,active one
I definitely don’t have a OG budget kranzel and mtm
Thanks! Yes I agree, the kranzle is great but not in everyone’s budget and there are a lot of options that get the job done well for much less!!!
I use the purple megs on dump trucks brush washing. it's like 9$ and foams pretty good just in a 5 gal bucket
Nice! I've been watching all you vids and have bought the MJJC Cannon and the Armor All Cannon. Plus the Adams Mega Foam and the Meguiars Gold Class. Plus all kind of other products you've tested and recommended like the Flexilla hoses, quick connects, pressure wand and harbor freight washer ($60). So thanks for all your hard work! Today was my first time using it, I has a little leak at the Pressure hose connection point to the pressure washer so I need to check that. But my questions was on how to properly mix the Meguiars soap. If I put 6 oz of soap, how much water am I adding? Should I use warm water? and should I add the soap after the water? (When I did it today I had the soap in first and then when I added the water it just bubbled up! Thanks!
If I can remember clearly he was using 2oz soap and then filling up with water for every one of these options in the video just to keep it fair
When you’re using your foam cannon are you turning off the mixing valve on top so that it’s all foam….? Plus love the video great work and information
Great channel! The presentation is direct and to the point. No time wasted with a narcissistic introduction or too much blah blah..
Thanks so much!
I would like to see you compare the Adam’s mega foam vs the chemical guys hydra foam cannon soap
I have just had my new car PPF wrapped and had a ceramic coat applied on top. l am now curious as to what soaps l should be using , l have a foam cannon and gun and have a few gallons of Meguirs Gold Class. Is the Mcguires going to be ok to use on this combination of protection layers? I have always used the Gold and really like it but just wanted to make certain this product would be safe to use..Great Videos BTW...
So i see which one foams the best but which one in your opinion actually takes off the grime better. Keep in mind i live on a dirt road so my truck is always a little bit muddy.
This was a great video that provided lots of good information, I am new to pressure washing, and have used your recommendations to inform my choices on equipment. As a result of your recommendation, I bought the Greenworks 2300 from Lowe's, and I have ordered the 1.1" orifice. I am using the Chemical Guys Honey Dew Snow Foam, but will try some of your other picks once it is used up. Thanks -
Please add Duragloss 902 to the testing. Thanks!
What’s the pressure washer you used in this video and which electric pressure washer do you think is the best rated?
@IMJOSHV that gold class can also be found at Walmart. So could be cheaper then Amazon possibly
I have the McGuiar's Gold.
Hey Josh what color orfice nozel on your stubby gun do you recommend with pre wash and rinse down
Have you tested meguiars hyper wash? It really foams great
Your the best
Please try this with the foam guns that only use garden hose pressure, not a pressure washer.
Can you go over by what you mean by high ph staining chrome? I've been using purple power vehicle cleaner for years and chrome and trim is fine it's higher ph. Maybe of some dries on sure...
Josh, do you do any reviews on Griots products? Other than Amazon where can I get a decent short stub wand for my power washer
Also....
I just bought the Dewalt 3600 psi pressure washer and i don't know how that thing works. Maybe you can do a review on that so I know how that thing works... lol.. !!
Thanks homeboy !!!
can you test out carpro reset, koch gsf, auto fanatic snow storm, turtlewax ice foam, jay leno wash, p&s pearl, chemical guys maxi suds ii
Brother.. Without a doubt the Maguires Gold class totally won this competition. Price to performance ratio its a no brainer.
Can you test Rim cleaners if possible?
Adam's Mega Foam for life!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
Really enjoyed this series. I'm in camp Gold Class myself, but have been wanting to try some of these other soaps that you've tested out. I may try one of the Chemical Guys next.
Mr pink seems to be the best chemical guys soap
@@PurpHaze830 Thanks. I actually have since purchased a bottle of Mr. Pink and have been quite satisfied with the results.
That's going to be the cleanest four runner in San Diego county.
I've heard good things about the honeydew from chem guys.
Great test bro. What ph neutral foam soap u would recommend?
There are a lot of good ones out there! Meguiars gold class is a great cost effective option
Can you please review a product like the Ethos Ceramic Car Shampoo? I just bought it. Very interested to see what your opinion is. It's supposed to wash and apply ceramic coating. And is supposed to be for both Ceramic coated cars, to extend the ceramic coating and cover any spots that may be wearing, and also for cars that aren't ceramic coated and protect those as well.
Great videos. You may want to get the air out of the system on each test next time. It really doesn't foam well until the air is out of the system. You can see this on the bottom panel every time.
Can you try the Turtle wax ice snow foam
ive noticed lately youve switch to using the orange 15 degree tip over the white 40 tip, you achieving more efficiency that way?
Honeydew Snow Foam is my go to, but Gold Class is probably the best bang for your buck of any soap.
👍👍 I like both of them. Gold class has been a staple though
@@imjoshv If there is an overall tie in the final round, I think Mr. Pink should get extra points because of the name.
I have been watching a ton of your videos and others. I like the videos alot. I wonder why everyone test to see which soap foams the thickest but not which soap actually cleans the best? That would be a great video!
Hey bob foaming is a big question from people and easier to test. I agree about the test of which works best would be a great video and I’ve been trying to think of how to properly test that. You can’t just tape off a section of a good like when testing other products because of the water… if you have any ideas on that let me know and I’d be happy to make the video
@@imjoshv maybe a vertical frame that slides into a receiver hitch 4ft wide by 2ft tall that you can mount 1ft x 1ft painted panels onto and then they would be exposed to real world abuse and then you would have individual panels for each soap tested? When one sprays a tailgate with a iron remover we see just how much contamination is deposited in that location.
As for how to determine the cleaning ability maybe the use of a tilt slide test, gloss meter etc....?
Just food for thought off the top of my head
I know I'm late to the party but you could take a 4, hard, door jeep Wrangler and take it mudding. Then you can remove each individual door and try each of the product. The doors are super easy to remove. Thanks for the awesome videos. Just subscribed
Went from gold classic to mr pink to adams blue soap to maxii suds 2.
Could you please try the Sonax Actifoam?
Okay these tests are cool and they're showing me a lot but, which is the best soap, like which is the best detergent that will actually cut through grime
I would like to see one of the cheapo soaps with the 1.1 orifice
How does the gallon bottle of Meguires foaming soap at Costco measure up? I mean it's really cheap for a gallon size and I'm on the fence about getting it. I just missed the sale for $10.99.
Do you think a 1.0 orifice would improve things???
Test turtle wax’s zipwax or megiuars ultimate wash and wax
Well, I'm late to the party but just saw these two videos. I think the best comparison would have been ounces with the same cost. You could have used five times the soap from the cheaper brands compared to the more expensive ones. That would have been interesting to see.
so the 1.1 one orifice you switched the the mjcc canon? That canon is notorious for making more foam anyway. I would curious if a 1.1 in the amour all canon makes that much foam as the mjcc.
