Purchased a ice cream maker with its own compressor over ten years ago. Pour some soda into it, turn it on, and like yours, slushie in about 15 minutes. Love it! Great video.

so helpful!!! what quantities and mix did you use for the apple slushes?
We just poured apple cider into the machine, no mix at all. Just make sure the cooling element is covered up with liquid, and that’s it.
What brand blue raspberry do you use ?
What machine have you seen that’s good for outdoor use?
Can i mix alcohol in it. 😉 I do events outdoors for fundraising and want to hand out alcohol slushies

We've had so much fun with it, it's hard to communicate how much the kids love it. I can see it working in an ice cream truck, but the one thing I'd take a look at is the lid since it just rests on top and isn't secured in the back other than by gravity. I would think a small bolt would take care of that if you were going to be driving around with product inside.
@@TheBarbecueLab generally i have my equipment on the floor before I go out then I set up, so it might just be something as simple as make it before you go out then set the equipment up, I also might try my snow come machine make them as people need them, although not exactly the same it might work in a pinch

Pretty much yes. I can't speak to every sugared drink, but we've been successful with Coke, Pepsi, Apple Cider, Slushes, Grape soda and more.

When we did Coke, we just poured it straight in without adding anything.

Hi I want to make margaritas without the alcohol, I have the masters of mixes margarita do I just add it and water but what would the ratio be? I bought two 1.75liter bottles and then a gallon of distilled water do I just pour and put it on slush? It’s my first time using machine tomorrow for a party I don’t want to mess up. Please help thank you!
Hi Christina, I don't know what the masters of mixes margarita calls for when it comes to the right mix with water. That's something you'll probably have to find from the mix website from that brand. As far as the slush feature goes on this mixer, I just add in what I want to slush, and it mixes it and cools it to a slush in about an hour. I usually prepare ahead of time and will have it going a couple of hours before people come over to make sure it's slush when they arrive. You should hear the cooling coils and the fan come on when slush is active. Have fun at your party!

I noticed in the video the handle says "push" but she is pulling on it... is that ok to do? (I have the same machine)
If you look at the way the handle works, it'll let liquid flow either way. I find the pulling on it opens it further, and it helps break up any clogs that are minor when in use. That's been our experience.

My experience is that mixing is pretty easy once you have it there with you. I just hit the mixer button to stir things, and then select the slush button instead of the cold drink option, and you're off to the races.

i was waiting to learn the weight, i found it's about 72 lbs. i want to sell frozen drinks at festivals. Would i have to purchase a generator to supply my own electricity, if its 500 Wattts, i'm not sure any electric outlet supplied at a festival where electricity isn't readily available would have the power to supply 500 Watts. Do you know? thanks for sharing. I also want to know what the recipe is for the apple cider slushy. YUM
On this type machine the back seal is hard to clean and it will develop mold inside the seal area

No because to make it an actual slushy it needs sugar
My container keeps popping off. And everything spills out. How do I fix?
My experience with the container popping off is that the container wasn’t put back on all the way to start with. I would take the container off and check the mixer paddle to make sure it’s all the way on and locked into place. If it’s not locked in, you can’t get the container on all the way. Once that’s sorted, then put the container on until the little notch or tab on the bottom front of the machine goes over the lip of the drainage tray area. It’s hard to describe without video, but it’s usually the mixer blade that causes the problem or not locking the container over the lip that causes the issue.
I put coke zero in mine and it froze on the cylinder so I stopped it. How do I make frozen coke. I got the same exact vevor machine
What they told me when I asked was that you have to have a certain sugar ratio in a drink for it to be able to slush correctly. They told me I couldn't use a diet cola since it wasn't true sugar. I tried regular Coke and it did just fine.

Yep. Me too. Barely any slush, when it actually works.
My recommendation is to ask one of the gas station attendants. They work with these all the time no matter the maker. They can probably tell you what’s going on. Just record your steps then ask them if they can tell from the vid what step or steps got missed or If you know of a local club with bartenders, the bartenders will probably also help, but you’d probably have to go on a non busy night and buy a few drinks to get the info.

Thanks for the video , just too bad they are expensive, you would have to use it daily to get your money worth out of it, plus have to buy the mixes and what not, be cheaper to rent one for an occasion or party than to buy it . 1000$ is alot just to buy it . That's my opinion.

I'm nervous getting this machine from this particular brand there are multiple comments about how their customer service sucks and the Machine doesn't do what it's supposed to do
As a alternative, try recording your setup then showing it to a Gas station attendant. They work with these all the time from multiple makers and they can probably tell what step got missed. Alternatively you can also try a bartender on a slow night at a popular club or fancy restaurant(usually Mexican or Seafood) , might have to buy a few drinks in the process but they or the manager can help get things running.

I have purchased a couple of items from this company, and all I can say is... buyer beware. Very poor quality items and very poor support.
