We make Long Island ice tea in our machine. We just pour ten 16 ounce pre mixed cans of 12% alcohol in the machine and add 1/3 gallon of Arnold Palmer. Absolute bomb for the Friday night golf league.

My husband loves grape Nehi, Welch's, basicially GRAPE... I would love to know what mix would you use for a "Adult" version of a grape slushy...
Hey there, Cali! Great question! How about this for a recipe that will make him a happy husband: First, combine 1 bottle (96 fl oz) of high-quality grape juice, such as Welch's, with one 2-liter bottle of grape Nehi soda for added sweetness and fizz (you should be able to get this from Walmart). Add 2 gallons of filtered water. Lastly, add 1.5 liters of lite rum or vodka to the mix then smash that Slushy button! This should create a delicious and refreshing adult grape slushy perfect for any occasion. This will measure out to about 3.5 gallons which is the ideal quantity for the Vevor machine. How long does it take for your machine to go down from 26 degrees to -6 degrees? I have the same one and it took more than 1.5 hours to get down to that temperature, and 4.5 hours to make the slushie.
Hey there, Gianniserva! Welcome to the Slushy Family! It's awesome that you have the same machine as we do. If your machine is taking longer than expected, it might be due to a couple of things. Is it possible that it's too close to a wall, blocking the vents, or maybe it's in a warmer room?
To answer your question, when I use room temperature ingredients, it usually takes around 45-50 minutes to reach a slushy consistency. However, here's a little tip: I always keep a bottle of rum and vodka in the freezer. When I need to make a batch from scratch and need it to be a slushy more quickly, I use these chilled ingredients, and it drastically speeds up the process.
So, try cooling your ingredients and keeping your liquor in the freezer-it might make a big difference!
Great video. Do you not need to check the brix levels before or After you add the pineapple juice? Im told it needs to be between 12-15%. Is that correct?
I just adjust for taste, Bekriag. I've not ever had an issue with is not freezing correctly after adding pineapple to the mixture. What's your go-to recipe right now?
@@MultiCasking interesting. I don't have a goto recipe as yet. I just recently got the machine. In Thailand we don't have access to the premix(Margarita man, Texas Blends), so I'm having to get creative and make my own. It's not easy to say the least.
I've noticed you typically use additional juices, like pineapple, in addition to the Margarita Man flavors. Do you find that they typically need something more in addition to what they call for to make them 'pop'? I ask because I'm going to be using my Vevor X300 for the first time this Saturday, making 4 gallons of frozen margarita and 4 gallons of frozen Mai Tai and you've got me wondering if I need to have some juices on hand.
It all depends on how sweet you like it. I simply curtail it to how I like my slushies is all. I've discovered that pineapple and orange juice cut down on the sweetness of mixes. I don't add any additional flavors to Margaritas. Unless I am making mango or strawberry margaritas, those area stand alone item and I don't add any juices. I have the Mai Tai but have yet to make it. Let me now how yours turns out! Cheers!
@@MultiCasking Our machine was a hit this past weekend. Used the Margarita Man margarita mix and decided to add orange juice to it. Mai Tai mix was great without any addition, using a liter of Bacardi dark and light. Ended up drinking over 10 gallons in total with making a second batch of margarita.🍹Ended up needing to keep it around -18C to the full -19C with having a full batch in each.
Did you put in 1/2 gallon of the 1/2 gallon of the drink mixture?? So half of the 1/2 gallon??
Hey there, Julie. The recipe calls for the entire 1/2 gallon bottle to be used. I put about 90% of the mix into the tank. The plan was to save about 10% of each mix and create a new blend with flavors from 10 or so different Margarita Man bottles. However, we lost power during a storm and we lost them all to high temps.
Can I use mango and strawberry puree instead of the margarita man
Yes you can! But be mindful of mess that purees make. Because they are fresh fruits, puress make it incredibly tough to clean the tank and they don't last as long as the mixes. Just make sure you use it all within 3-4 days. Happy Slushing, Sarah!

I think you mean it's not slushing correctly versus a watery taste. What is your temp set at, Shawn? A hack you might try is to keep the arm cranking but completely turn off all cold and slushy settings, let it warm up to room temp, clean all condensation off the tank to the point it is completely dry to the touch (a hair drying set on low or cool air mode can help reach the tank in-between the tanks) , and turn it back on to Slusy mode with a negative 7 temp. Sometimes the tank's outside condensation prohibits the machine from properly Slushing. Let me know if this works!
What happens if your machine not freezing right on certain drinks
I either turn the temp down or I add water. It's the water that will freeze and cause the slush.
@@MultiCasking mines be inconsistent. When I first turn it on and freeze then throughout the day it will get back liquid. I have this exact machine. Do you not put the liquor in
I wonder when he realized that Margarita Man syrup jugs only come in 1/2 gallon sizes and he only put in 1/4 gallon of syrup?
I save some of each bottle to make as a suicide slushy later on!
