So a 3rd year who's the closest to becoming the number 1 hero with outstanding strength and a quirk that if used right can massively boost his velocity making for a much harder punch.

The reason all might choose izuku because him (izuku) resemble all might in almost all aspects (self sacrifice, on site decisions and most important, heart to save people in need). Izuku is so similar with all might that even if weakened all might was the one that bumped Eri, he will save her right there same as izuku.

@Johnny Nemo While this is true, you can balance it without having it be actively dangerous to use. A good example of what I'm talking about is Ben Tennyson. He starts the franchise with 10 super powers in the form of alien transformations, with the potential to have up to over 1 million. However, he can't use more than one at a time, once he activates a super power he's stuck as the alien he becomes for *exactly* 10 minutes (he can't choose to change back to human at any time and when the time limit is reached he's forced to change back), and after turning back to human he can't turn into an alien again for 5-15 minutes unless not being able to do so would result in his death.

Tbh with the introduction of Mirio I think that alot of us wish he had inherited One for All, because he is as equally as worthy as Deku is. And due to this I can't decide who I Love the most.

And thinking in a logical fashion Mirio is just as kind as Deku is, the only difference is Deku is shy and is completely obsess with All Mightz while Mirio is outgoing and loud. He gave up his quirk to save another and was ready to put his life on the line to protect her. When he and Deku couldn't save her at first they were both upset at what they had done. If you don't think Mirio deserved a spot for consideration of be gifted OFA, I wouldn't know what to say to change your mind.
@@dishonlanferman please let me remind you that he didn't have to sacrifice his quirk. Sir nighteye even said that he should've just saved eri then and there. I'm sure deku is only shy because he could literally DIE if he uses his quirk wrong and mirio only has to worry about not getting stuck in a dang wall. Let's not forget that if they both had saved eri in the first encounter. The worst case scenario is them getting away with minor - moderate injuries at worst. Because if they ran and chisaki used his quirk i'm sure every hero in at least a 5 mile radius would notice and immediately respond. I'm not sure how you thought he was more worthy when Deku wanted to take initiative and save eri right then and there. With sir nighteye even backing up that he should have saved her. Then and there.
If you want to change my mind on mirio, then i guess we'll just have to see if he gets smarter or more compelling.

I don't think letting a little girl of the age of 4-6 that is clearly harshly injured return to her "father" just because 'she falls a lot' that doesn't seem logical. And the bandages were dirty to boot. The logical thing to do was to get the girl examined at a hospital and get a change of bandaged and THEN letting her go. That's not mentioning the fact that every atom in eri's body is shaking harder than a magnitude 50 earthquake whenever she heard chisaki.

Also to address the situation where they were in an ally and could have saved Eri. Honestly, it's never that easy, yes he had a bad judgement but at the same time if Deku were to have pushed further things could have went bad real quickly. Do not underestimate Overhaul's quirk. Chances are while they were trying to save she could have ended up seriously hurt.
When I mentioned their personality traits it was not meant to compete. I was just saying that they were different, however they both shared a pure heart. Which I believe is a good criteria for judging an individual.
And lastly, Mirio may or may not have made a bad judgement I personally believe it would have been a risk. But if you believe that Deku and Lemillion was ready to fight a battle where with countless of civilians present, mass buildings and a Villian with a quirk of deconstruction and reconstruction. It would not have been easy and there would have been casualties, worse case death.
In all that I said initially and even now I am not in noway saying Mirio is more worthy than Deku. But I believe out of all the characters this far, he is truly just as worthy as Deku is, in his own right.

I started watching anime about 3 or 4 years ago and I've been hooked since then. I really look forward to your videos because they help me understand a lot more about the shows I've watched so far. But DUDE! When it comes to "My Hero Academia", it never fails: I start to watch an interesting video about the show and get all exited and then you give that "spoilers ahead" warning and I pause the video for 5 minutes and debate with myself, "Do I want to spoil it? Do I NOT want to spoil it?" and, invariably, I yell, "CRAP!" and close the video because I don't want to spoil the story. I really need to start reading the manga for the various shows you cover. In all seriousness, great channel! Keep it up!

Mirio is a great hero. He worked so very hard, did so well and still does. Mirio is a selfless boy who inspires so many, even Stain would be proud. Even if he doesn’t get his quirk back, Mirio Togata will still be a great hero.
I just realized that touching Mirio would let Sir Nighteye see his entire life, so with his quirk he technically saw all of Mirios life up to his death, so he lived through his future

Indeed. I love mirio to death. And it’s actually so impressive that he’s able to smile all the time. But to me, I think he’s too happy. I’m not a really positive person and I would like someone like that in my life. I just think he’s too happy. It’s not a bad thing tho. I don’t think highly of myself, I’m hardly positive. It isn’t my strong suit. My favorite is Tamaki and I’ll explain why. He is a sweet boy. I love Tamaki so much is because I relate to him so much. We both have low self esteem, bad with social situations, and we both have anxiety. Tamaki made it this far because of Mirio which is amazing. I wanna be like Tamaki because even though he thinks low of himself he keeps going and gets stronger because he has people by his side to cheer him on. Mirio and Tamaki have such an interesting relationship. I’m alone most of the time, so Tamaki helps me realize it’ll be ok. Mirio and Tamaki both make me want to reach out and go plus ultra.
+AarmauFan 16 There is something truly special about how fictional characters impact people's lives positively, especially in this anime. There so many inspiring messages that I think a lot of people have missed throughout the show and that saddens me, because in those moments when these characters (like Kirishima, Deku, Mirio, Tamaki, etc) show their own struggles and goals, they feel like real people. I personally relate to Kirishima and Mirio a lot, I struggle with low self esteem and I think of myself as weak and small, but even so, I never want to give up on my goals. I've gone through hardships in life, but somehow I've managed to stay positive, which is pretty crazy. My Hero Academia really is amazing, and I hope more people see the impact it's made on others.

Mirio is the symbol of hope. I love how even though he was doubted by his own father and could potentially die for his dreams he went ahead and became great. Then, he encourages others even though some of the only encouragement he got was from his dead mentor and his so-antisocial-it-hurts-him best friend. Mirio is truly one of the greatest people ever. In real life and anime.

You know it. It really pissed me off they did that to Mirio, can't have anybody stronger than Deku. They also gave Deku former OFA user's quirks to boot with OFA, overpowered.
Mirio is the big brother everyone wishes they have. I feel like all these anime’s I watch and all these characters I get to love and know it really makes me feel like I have real hero’s in my life and real friends. Mirio is by far my favorite character out of everyone. I legit love this guy haha. One of the hardest things to do is to smile when your whole world is crumbling down. But Mirio was able to do it. The way he works hard and utilize his quirk to the fullest is so nice!

@@theguardianmusic6488 Think about it. Chisaki used her rewind quirk to remove it. And the quirk replacer wasn't made yet. So all eri would do is make him younger again.
The quirks are also part of the body, if he is going in a younger state also should his quirk so as long as eri can learn how to use her quirk then he can get it back

Eri and Mirio are perfectly intertwined characters. Mirio always had doubts about himself becoming a hero due to his difficult quirk, and Eri always had doubts about being saved by a hero due to Chisaki. Mirio sacrificed his quirk for Eri, and Eri’s quirk might be able to bring Mirio’s quirk back.
When I think about it I think he would be the main character I would want to watch
