Setsuno's backstory, the way it's hinted at in the manga and anime, seems to suggest that his lover framed him for a bunch of robberies and other small time crime, considering what his quirk is. He's another Shinso situation, where his quirk basically gives people a pre-conceived notion of him as a "villain".

He's actually my favorite in the whole show.
A shame they’re called the 8 expendables. Their quirks sound like they’d make them extremely valuable in a criminal organisation.

@@Lh0000 Actually a quirk is just a special talent per se. So the person can choose what path they wanted to take. Bakugo's quirk is a villain-esque quirk and Chisaki's guys could easily be heroes with ther right guidance

When Overhaul uses his quirk, he doesn't rub his arm because his quirk causes him to itch,. He explains after using his quirk on Magne & Compress' arm that the bad part about his power is the after effects that causes him to dirty his clothes with blood. He rubs his arm to try to get the blood off. But that's in the anime series when he meets the League of Villains & Tomaru for the first time. Regardless, I absolutely love this video & love the info. It at least gives me some My Hero Academia content to watch between the episodes in season 4 ❤💛💚💙💜

Important note, the Boss DID NOT get sick, Overhaul used his quirk to place the boss in a coma after the Boss tried to stop him from experimenting on his granddaughter, stating that he would fix the old man after he had "cured" the world and restored the Yakuza to their rightful place.

Yeah that true, but it’s necessary for some people, like how is Shin supposed to beat anyone by making them tell the truth?
PK Master knowledge is power. Ask: “what is your greatest weakness” or “what moment do you wish you could forget” distract them, then go for the kill. Not saying guns aren’t helpful, but this is an awesome quirk!
Imagine he teamed up with the brainwashing guy and forced people to respond to those questions.
It’s also a relatively easy quirk to learn how to use (all you have to know is what to ask) and therefore he can spend most of his time training himself mentally and physically without having to work on his quirk.

About Guns. MHA's Story is about Heroes in *Japan*. Japan does not share a Firearm culture like USA, therefore getting a gun is more difficult. However Japan did ease the weapon control (stun gun) due the appereance of Quirks (See Izuku Dreams about AFO and OFA). I think Firearms are a thing we will only see on villains in MHA through their connections to the mafia, and ofc the special police ops working with the heroes.

My Favorite Characher Is Overhaul His Quirk so Cool!!
19:12 Not going to lie I think I made an improved version of this quick yesterday by accident.
Playing a Superhero TTRPG, made a character with healing powers, his powers include
1. Generate small streams of alcohol from his hands (coupled with a pressure hose, and a lighter=flame thrower)
2. Healing touch
3. Manual control over chemicals he processes in his body (including ones the human body can't normally process, such as lactose, or some non-organic metals, like silver/gold)
And most importantly
4. He can transfer the effects of anything in his system to other people with a touch (so he can slurp down some of his own pure grain alcohol, and then transfer the drunkenness to someone else, hell, he can give a person alcohol poisoning by proxy, he can also make people start tripping balls, or make them stoned, he can even make a person feel like they have a full belly when they don't

The alcohol quirk reminds me of a marvel character. She has the ability to generate vibrations but the power depends on how drunk she is. Obviously being hammered and firing off destructive vibrations doesn't make a very effective hero
I hope Ochaco and Deku team up against Shigaraki because of his new decaying abilities, the only way to avoid it is floating and guess who can make ppl float?
