0:00 Intro
0:04 Customer States brakes are squeaking. Yes the first sides caliper bolt was completely missing
0:28 Insane to see a strut like this and the fact the owner had been driving around with it in this state is crazy
0:43 The easiest tire dismount ever, watch out for those curbs
0:52 New range rover 2021 wouldn't start. Found this in the intercooler intake pipe
1:06 The mechanics father was the one to accidentally fill the oil with coolant. It was being stored after blowing it's head gasket but needed to be moved when the father topped the fluids up incorrectly
1:19 This vehicle came in for a suspension inspection looks like they have more important rust issues they should be worried about
1:40 This has to be the most random oil drain plug I've ever seen
1:54 Customer was driving around on this cracked rim totally unaware, lucky the mechanic caught this before anything happened
2:04 Customer States "I have to press the break all the way in to stop". Well overdue for a brake pad change
2:13 Customer States "Steering shakes, needs diagnosing" Well that's an easy diagnosis at least
2:22 This customer was hearing some brake noise who knows how long they've been driving around with it like this
2:36 Honda Foreman 500 has had a bit of a rough time, cant tell if the rust formed before it snapped or maybe it had cracked and slowly started rusting for this to happen
2:47 Customer states oil pan leaks after new one installed... I wonder why
3:26 The cheap way to fix that pesky belt squeaking, yup a bar of soap
3:41 These ants keep coming back even after they had done many different types of ways to get rid of them
3:46 This will be safe to tow with right guys? The owner worked for a pool company and this was only the rust it may have been from pool chemicals dripping onto it
3:51 This rider did 20,000 kilometers on this tire then started hearing a weird noise. Which is quite high mileage however to see this happen is new to me
Thanks to d**th-by-sl0th for this clip check out their CZcams channel here! / twowheelstraveltales
4:11 2020 Sierra with only 25,000 miles started knocking quite badly
4:22 DIY painted rims...and valve stem caps

I can't imagine driving around standing on the brake pedal, hearing grinding noises and feeling clunks, and taking forever to stop - for months or years.
Those brake rotors are amazing. Wearing down to the vents...so.crazy.
I don’t know how some states don’t do yearly inspections it’s really dangerous to think people are driving cars until something falls off
I find it very hard to comprehend how some people can not even think
These videos of vehicles coming in needing major repairs is awesome. The people bringing them in scare the sh$t out of me. To think of just how absolutely frightening it is that they are even on the road. 👍👍👍👍🤣
...in the oncoming lane.
I can only shake my head at these disasters. I love to hear what some say when the things are shown to them.
I have seen brake rotors like that, pads worn nearly to the calliper pistons, ,, and driveshafts ready to fall out. On the same car!! And she is a Phsycoligist!
I always remember the videos on this channel when looking at a used car 😂
The mechanical prowess of these customers is astounding.
Hey! Thanks for covering man!😇
For those asking about the tyres, they are Metzeler Tourance. These are the OEM ones for BMW G310 GS. Had these for 4 years, done 20k km (12k miles). And as for baldness, if you could check them against new ones, you could see the center was pretty bald already. Which is why I was planning to change them after the ride I was on. But the tread separation happened first.
This channel makes me feel like a journeyman mechanic. I don’t get there can be so much rot under the car.
How mandatory vehicle inspections every year is so important to avoid hurting innocent people or death.
I love how just the paint holds the car together there's nothing better than that.
Living in the desert I've never even seen that but the vehicle parked there for a hundred years. You don't believe me come and see for yourself.
From what little we could see of the motorcycle tire, it could be a Continental TKC 80, if so there is an active recall on them for tread separation.
I think I saw Pirelli on the sidewall.
There's no shock rod or strut rod spring still holding in 🤣🤣🤣
An almost brand new range rover already having serious troubles........Im shocked....SHOCKED
0:29 at least the honda guys have aftermarket springs despite the shitty struts 🤣
Knock Knco, Who's There? Needs a! Needs a who? Needs a new shorblock!
Great video thanks for sharing 3:54 🤣😂🤣 Fun fact that tire is completely fine you only worry when you start seeing signs chicken strips on the tire. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
These videos just make me more thankful for the British yearly inspections. Some of these cars owners need to be charged with negligence or something
Enjoy freezing this winter because there's no heat.
You're brainwashed into thinking this cures all problems with vehicles. Surely it's impossible to leave the inspection, hit a pot hole or curb, and break a suspension component and drive around for the remaining 364 days, right genius?
How is the no gun policy working out for you with all the stabbings ?
That cracked rim looks totally factory …. Lol its really scary to know at any point someone next to you could have any of this going on … old and new vehicles. Always be aware and defensive please
I had a dream about painting those same rims. Luckily even in my dream I knew better
It's all in the thorough prep work, though honestly, you might be better off taking them for a professional powder coating
I think aluminum is tricky but just sand em and paint em, it's not rocket science.
Why is that my '89 jeep xj is in better shape then most of these cars & it was sitting in field from '95-'20.
My '99 XJ is in better shape than most vehicles from the 2010s... Not sure whether that's a compliment to the previous owners for taking such good care of it, or a criticism of newer vehicles!
3:35 if it's stupid but it works its not stupid.
that motocycle tire ? do they re-tread those as well ?
You get some doosies in your shop, that's 4sure and I went through the same things throughout my mechanicing years lol. I started when I's 12years old and quit when I's 55 and I'm 63yrs young now and the mechanical parts of it's not to bad but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out the computerized part of it lol...Some things tells itself what the problem is but I'd rather leave that part to the professionals like you, cause I doubt that I'll ever be able to do that part of it lol...I also enjoy watching your content and I'd love to subscribe but I stay financially embarrassed for the most part
I think a lot of these 'nightmares' are people who are broke and can't afford to fix things when they should or DIY their problem to save money. Problem is then the cost to fix due to the delay is far worse, not just in a towing charge, but also the physical risk from a crash, loss of control, to themselves and others could mean jail time or lawsuits in the millions in claims, higher car insurance.
A better solution for belt squeak I learned from a mechanic is dielectric grease or fix the prob. My alternator bearings were shot and the mechanic didn't even know.
Was the motorcycle tire made by Firestone?
I think we found the problem 🤔 😅
Crescent wrench??? Did she make that up. That's a castellated nut.
I thought that too. What she said is she had to pull it out of the oil pan with a crescent wrench.
Maybe she likes using the Swedish Nut Lathe
Hello, the OP here! That castle nut was turned into a castle bolt and used as
The drain plug, lol. It was so weird to see in the oil pan!
The US states should introduce a mandatory technical inspection of all vehicles with an interval of e.g. 2 years, like in Germany or other European countries.
0:35 friends don't let friends buy cheap coilovers....
4:30 Probably doesn't have nitro in it anymore either.
3:52 I'm lucky to get 6-8k miles out of a touring tire, how did they have 12k and not be bald in the center.
Shakes when towing 🤔 Idk bro that hitch just needs some paint. That's why it's shaking.
Ok, what was that substance put on the belt to make it squeal less?
Bathroom Soap!
@@station240 ok guess I will try it
May be only 12,000 miles but how old is that tire? After 6 years it's suspect, don't trust it.
Continental tyres are good quality and perform well, in all areas except tread life, I've seen them wear out in 30000km on Mercedes, BMW etc...
Can confirm, my dad's car failed inspection on a cracked tire down to the cord at 6 years old.
As a European, I'm shocked to see what passes for "vehicles" which are allowed to use the public highways. These are a fatality looking for somewhere to happen.
A bit of research reveals that only 19 out of 50 US states have mandatory vehicle safety check requirements, some only have a vehicle identity check, not a safety check. It is beyond belief that Joe (or Jill) Public are allowed to play Russian roulette with other people's lives on the highways of an advanced nation such as US. Surely it is in everyone's interests to introduce Federal requirements for a standardized test for all vehicles in every state?
Greetings from Europe: we have regular inspection and free health care :D
@Green Man Also good and free education
My biggest concern is that in 2022 people still don't know how to turn their phone into landscape when filming...🙄
It's really great when women get into the profession.
I don’t understand why people not take more care off there car……
1:28 Poor Focus.
I can’t decide what’s worse the mentality of the drivers, technicians or the authorities for allowing such stupidity on the roads
1:00 doesn't surprise me range Rovers are garbage
Surprised it lasted 12 months, I think he said it was a 2021 model? But the snobs who buy them and think they are superior to the rest of us usually end up with buyers regret, same applies to Jeep...if they had Toyota reliability they would sell a lot more.
Those rotors look like snowflakes..no 2 the same✌️
All the miles..12k..on that motorcycle tire were put on in one afternoon...lol
watching these videos just makes me happy to know that we have mandatory inpsections every 2 years wether you want it or not.
Lol wtf.. no
Annually once the vehicle is 3 years old in the UK. The cars I used to scrap every day were in better shape than many of these.
I was just wondering how bad a car has to sound or be before they decide it might need to be looked at? Some of those brakes must have sounded awful and yet they ignored it until one day an idea popped into their empty head. I think the car needs looking at.
Noisy car? That's why the radio goes to eleven.
A large portion of people, including alot of people i know, know absolutely nothing about vehicles, the sister in law drove around for weeks with he engine knocking because she didn’t change, or even check the oil.. then when the engine finally went she called the car a POS… not to mention other people i know, driving on flat tires, starting their vehicles in -30 weather, not warming it up at all, and driving it super hard to warm it, then are shocked when the transmission lets go prematurely..
1:57
You mean "wheel". The rim is only part of the wheel.
third world countries?
No...just stupid and cheap people that can't be bothered fixing their north american or European vehicle by a professional mechanic so they continue to drive it or try to fix it themselves and botch the repair
America.
Pretty ignorant statement Clair, especially when you're jealous of our freedom. But you probably get government cheese and free herpes tests.
Funny how the vast majority of these seem to be from the U.S. of A.
:58 - 2021 Range Rover????
tja amiland
only in America and Eastern bloc countries see this kind of misery
