happy pride month, i've been out the closet for about 3 years and while my parents aren't too happy about it, i've felt more confident in who i am after being honest with myself. by no means am i saying 'BE GAY OR ELSE' but i don't want people to limit themselves just because that's what society expects of them. pride month isn't just a month celebrating gay people and their place in society, it's a celebration of honesty, LGBTQ+ history, and the people who were brave enough to tell their relatives about how they feel. be yourself, thats all.
