  • Bruce Orr of Lost in Legend is a fantastic dude, a former homicide investigator turned author of the paranormal, expert on Lavinia Fisher. In this video, he turns everything we thought we knew about Lavinia's story on its head! Rather than the first female serial killer in America, her story is more akin to that of Romeo and Juliet. I highly recommend checking out his book, Six Miles to Charleston, as it really goes into great detail on the facts of Lavinia Fisher's story. Go ahead and subscribe so you don't miss next week's video, where Bruce is taking us on a tour of the old city jail!

I am sorry, but Lavinia Fisher's guilt as a serial killer has been in doubt since ages, and her murder spree is described as an urband legend. She _was_ a criminal (highway robbery, together with her husband), but never convicted for murder.

I'm not sure why you're presenting this as though it's an argument- if you watch the video, the guy I'm interviewing (Bruce is AWESOME) is THE GUY who definitively showed in his book that she wasn't just innocent of murder (in fact never even accused), but also most likely innocent of the highway robbery of which she was factually accused!
I have another video lined up that will fully cover all aspects of the myth, and trace their origins- I have a feeling you'll like that one, be sure to subscribe so you don't miss when it's posted! ❤️
