FYI, both dreadnaught and V4 has a 50% friendly fire damage, so the damage testing against friendly target is actually inaccurate, I would advice doing testing with enemy units with these 2 units.
Years after, I still couldn't get over the fact that the water looks so damn good in this game without the needs of RTX. Such a good engine, if only EA doesn't abbandon the franchise imagine what we could have seen now
It's a shame that the devs didn't allow the aircraft carrier's drones to change targets while they still have a bomb. Not only would this allow them to do much better against multiple, weaker targets, but allow you to get around enemies and attack from different angles if you attacked ground and then gave them a different target partway through their flight. I suppose they had to balance them somehow though for having the greatest single-target dps (not counting abilities).
my fave strategy with is to put the 3x Dreadnoughts on "aggressive stance" and keep them moving around enemy base. This will make them to fire at everything within range while always on the move. :)
I might be wrong but I believe when attacking the units of the same team V4 and Dreadnought rockets do reduced damage. the game calculates it as splash damage done to allies and that is reduced. I don't know if shogun battleship or aircraft carrier have same kinds of calculations put into them, but Dreadnought should kill a 1500hp ship with 200 damage rockets in three salvoes (7.5 rockets).
Watching this video, it really clicked and sank in how absurdly well this game has aged. Like, c'mon, a 13 years old game has no right to look this good in 2021.
"If lenin could see us now" this is my favourite line in this game

in 2020 that water graphics still amazing.

I love the Dreadnought simply because the missiles and that satisfaction you have when the three missiles hit their target.
I love the dreadnought simply because of his voice lines ... THE SEAS WILL RUN RED

The dreadnought on the last test tho, they died but took their enemy with them
For anyones concern, Aircraft carrier have the longest striking distance. My suggestion is to test the unit on shrunked status.
Shogun has the highest damage (and the highest price) draught is famous for its radius damage of missile, carrier has longer range.
One thing that's worth noting, is that a max vet dreadnought with a dry dock can out heal the damage it takes from its ability
Allies: precision
Me Facing Dreadnoughts: Meh! Just send in the fastest units to dodge their rockets!

Well we already know the setting from the start
This doesn't account for the upgrade the Shogun gets from the Impetial protocol bonus to Navy though.

FINALLY, someone who actually tips the shogun battleship for tests!

Dreadnought is the worst. Same as V4.
