Nanoshield is a personal favorite. Apart from being a shield, it can also act as a prison. Can trap a large force in one spot for some time. While not exactly a great strategy, it can be pretty useful if desperate.
even though this comment was from a year ago, I still want to add one more thing.
You can actually trap superweapon whey they fired it, if you time it correctly and put the Nanoshield to a superweapon being fired it wont hit the target at all.
I actually just found that out while testing Nanoshield
Dang, so the projectiles of Proton Collider isn't only cosmetic but can actually hit air units! A neat detail we have missed so many years.

Vacuum imploder: the best one vs enemy units, since any unit in its aoe instantly dies, regardless of health. It can also hit air units
The psyonic decimator is the most balanced, being able to hit everything equally, making it good for either base killing or until killing
The proton collider functions best against heavily condensed areas, so it's best used against a base where all its buildings are in close proximity, and there might be units to hit also
The proton collider is literally the most useless. Its only there to make you angry when it takes out your power and thats only what it can take out! its like an emp that damages a bit the units that matter
@@PROJECTDARKPHOENIX the thing with the proton collider is that it has a unique property in that its damage goes up depending on the number of entities in its aoe, the more stuff, the more damage it does.
It heavily punishes people who build things close together in bases

In RA3, it is Yuriko who the EotRS never cared about while Soviets care about Natasha.
Proton collider could hit air unit but only if it was happen to stay in its path which was more akin to luck due to its small hit box size
As a Soviet, capture an Imperial base. Build a Vacuum Imploder and a Psionic Decimator. Use them both combined.

think the collider makes everything it hits damage other things around it, so with the whole base around the mcv it dealt more damage than if it hit only the mcv itself

So proton collider's cursor highlights air units, but does not damage them (except for a few random rocket angels for some reason), does not highlight underwater units but damages them

EDIT: Also, what would happen if you cast Nanoswarm before you use Psionic Decimator? Would Nanoswarm protect them?
Depends which is cast first and I think whether its inside or outside
Proton Collider's "bullets" are what hit some of those rocket angels. If air units are exactly at the place where the bullet will land, they will take some damage.
Maybe because he's firing on himself it doesn't hurt flyers?
@@khankhomrad8855 It can, just the actual "bullet" has to hit the flyer before it hits the ground, to my knowledge only the Future Tank's damage is affected by unit aligence.
If u use nanoswarm, nothing can attack anything inside of it and nothing can get out of it.

I am thinking that an ai have a super weapons then you send engineers to take their MCV to buit another super weapons then send another engineer to get another one that already buit by ai . Is this possible?
