Well done Prisqua (thank you :) ~ Also there are other considerations beyond Business Users. People with Special Needs, Learning Difficulties, Physical disablities, for many of these groups, SL is access to a world they can not share with us in RL but, sometimes they require assistance. For my son (no he's not on SL) - we have the ability, legally, to access and help with medical and financial situations. There are many reasons for the requirement of multiple access. A bog standard 'No You Can't' by LL attitude is not very inclusive in this modern world is it.
This is such a great point that I had not considered.
I have no idea why YT threw this among my recommended, but it was still an interesting video. I didn't actually realise that SL was still live, it was over a decade ago that I last logged in. I feel it is safe to say that LL will always prioritise profit, they are a business at the end of the day.

Can you help me understand this. I thought you could login to friends accounts you were just responsible for if they did bad things on it. I have logged into friends accounts before to help them with their shape and avatar customization. Is that completely against the tos? And is that what drd was doing?
In short - yes - you were in violation of TOS and could get in trouble for it. However, LL doesn't proactively go looking for this violation. It has to be 'brought to their attention' - either via an abuse report, or seeing you admit to doing it. At that point they COULD choose to handle it any number of ways. Up to and including a perma-ban and closure of all your holdings. They tell customers to 'ask for permission', then state there is no way to actually get that permission. I have family that have wanted in SL for years. I discourage that, because I KNOW they will eventually ask me to do the same as you have. I won't. I came to SL 15 yrs ago with a 4 person content dev team. I've been alone for a decade now, because of this, and similar issues with their archaic TOS. They did DRD dirty - and that means, to me at least, they would absolutely do it to anyone.
Also - the DRD owner was sharing their account with their RL sister, who helps conduct the stores business operations. So kind of like helping with fixing a shape - only helping do sales stuff, vendor stuff, and packing ect.
@@eckosoulstar4172 i just don’t understand why this is a battle they are wanting to fight right now, why they are going after residents for this when SL is fragile and needs all the residents it can get do they realize if they were to fully enforce this that half the grid would be gone because they have done this at some point.
As far as I know, Jaimy Hancroft, the owner of DRD, is a she, not a he.
I am so sorry. I thought she was, and then I saw a few comments referring her as a he.
