- Any time I go to California, my friends always tell me to go to In-N-Out Burger. "It's the best," they say. So on my latest trip to the West Coast, I went to In-N-Out and ordered a couple of things off their "secret menu."

Nahun Details - It’s a meaningful comparison because they are both inexpensive drive-through burger places. You should always compare burgers of similar size and price, or it’s pointless. So compare the Double-Double at In-n-Out to a double cheeseburger at McDonald’s. Of course the Double-Double wins easily, in my opinion.

In n out burgers restaurant needs udi's gluten free burger buns, and dairy free cheese slices for the protein style lettuce wrap with beef, onions, tomatoes, and pickles, and ketchup to put in udi's gluten free burger buns, and dairy free cheese slices in the right order together.
I'll admit the fries aren't the best, they're not frozen, they dice the potatoes fresh and fry them.. and don't put any salt on them but give you a small package too yourself. Alright, going to In-N-Out now lol.

the equivalent of a 4x, fries and a shake at shake shack probably sets you back $20. kinda like saying the steaks a le cirque are better than the ones at black angus. for the price, in-n-out is the best burger you can buy and their business is as ethically sound as any in the industry when it comes to sourcing and employee compensation.

I don't like potato-y fries anyway like steak fries? Not for me. I didn't order an unseasoned baked potato here I ordered good, thin fries (the way in n out supplies). As for their milkshakes what do you mEAN THEIR MILKSHAKES ARE MEDIOCRE THEY ARE AMAZING! THICK, CREAMY AND BEAUTIFUL. HOW DARE YOU.
like many fast food burgers, you might have to rearrange/reassemble your burger to get the best experience... this is especially true with their very wet and slippery "protein style" offerings. I usually take a full leaf and try to cup the bottom inside of the wrapper.
I'm not a big fan of their fries either... I'm guessing that I don't like the variety of potato they use... flavor-wise they're just "okay"; however, I get them "extra well" and the crispiness and extra time in the fryer make them much better. I do worry about the extra grease I might be getting tho, so I usually skip the fries.
In general, IMO, In-n-out isn't the best/fanciest burger out there, it's just an honest/run-of-the-mill burger (although, their meat patties seem to be getting smaller... you almost have to get a Double just to get a normal size burger). It's made with decent components (read: fresh), sorta like ones you would make yourself at home at a backyard BBQ... and sometimes THAT's what you really crave in a burger. So keep doing what your doing, In-N-Out!!! (well, besides making the patties smaller. Stop doing that.)

Never tried in n out but shake shacks burgers aren't spectacular but fries and shakes are good, but very expensive. In n out doesn't seem close to price to shake shack, but I do like five guys which is really good, so I'm assuming in n out is similar to five guys

Is there only In and out in California???? Cuz I've heard there was some in Texas I live right around the corner from one I'm from the central coast of California.
There are some in Texas. My sister went to the one in Allen, TX the second day after it opened and the line was huge.

As a New Yorker, I'm familiar with Shake Shack and I agree it's pretty good. In N out also looks good but I actually need to try it to have a comparison.
i’m an east coaster too (as a person from pa) in-n-out is actually pretty good, their burgers are quite nice (if you don’t like rlly thin burgers, it might not be for you) but if you get a double double, its like the same amount of meat as a shake shack burger. their fries, eh they’re ok. i prefer salted fries over non salted fries, but that’s just a choice.

Shake Shack isn’t even a drive-through, so it’s a poor comparison. And considering that where I live I have In-n-Out and do not have Shake Shack, it is completely meaningless. What a person needs to know is: if I want a burger right now, where should I go? If I want drive-through service, that rules out a lot of burger places.

This video's information is invalid and biased because anyone watching this who has a brain can tell that the person doing the review is from the east coast and would diss the hell out of In-N-Out in any situation that involves comparing the two franchises. If anything were to be true it would be that they are both very distinct and unique burger places and they will continue to push out the same quality of fresh, fast, and delicious food.
