I worked at In-N-Out for 2 years and they truly treat their employees amazing. somehow working there made me appreciate the food even more, which doesn’t happen at a lot of fast food places. everything is fresh and clean. I’m ride or die for that company now lol
Im pretty jealous man, fast food employees usually get treated like dog shit by the employers and customers alike. I worked at a Dairy Queen years ago and they treated me like a convicted felon, which I am, but still.
I worked fast food in another life... The making and breaking of the product that goes to the consumer is definitely on how management operates with the majority of emphasis on proper training, hiring and keeping on top of employees and try making it a place with decent morale. A good thing to help morale is treating employees with respect and paying them a little bit more than the competition and other options they could be lured away from.
You'll get far better consistency if these rules are applied. Where there is a lack of leadership you will find chaos and crappy employees that go rogue doing things that will give the whole company a black eye when their behavior is exposed.
Chick Fil A will tend to be on the better side of things because they vet owners (who can only own one single store) so they don't view their regional locations as just money making machines and view problems as something they don't need to deal with. In N Out is family owned and have high standards. I'm not sure about Shake Shack enough, but McDonalds, Burger King, Dominos.... you can get a serious mixed bag with those last 3. Seriously, you can get a whopper and say "Wow, that was good" and go to another location and have one of the worst things you've ever eaten in your life.
I’ve been working there for almost a year and I completely agree
Wow! That’s awesome to hear. Good for you because that was not my experience with the company at all 😂 Really high-stress, busy location though.
everything at in-n-out is literally half the price of its corresponding item at shake shack. nobody seems to mention this in arguments
Its seriously this. It is like comparing taco bell to chipotle. The only difference is they are comparing them side by side. Which means in-n-out consistently punches above its weight.
Starbucks vs Tim Hortons is what this burger comparison is like with coffee in Canada but... McDonald's actually has awesome coffee for a good price so.. Off topic but I wish we had In N Out here...
@@289pinto Tom Hortons and McDomanalds both suck ass for coffee but I prefer the warm donkey piss they serve at Tan Hortoms
Because money means nothing to a lot of people. Life isn't about money, kid
I love how they used a super fat picture for Bert, then a slim one for Tom 😂
Keeping those jeans high and tight I see.
“They’re stabbing a cow in the parking lot.....” 😂
In & Out is the epitome of the once lost fast food experience of the Americana burger stand.
In starting to like sean in the wild almost as much as hot ones
He could combine them and go out into the wild to eat hot ones. I bet a celebrity would be way more weird if you had a lion sitting behind them.
Tom looks like Elijah Wood's dad.
Even at his most enthusiastic he seems dead inside. Even watching Rogan's podcast I get that vibe.
Jack Lazer didn't Bill Burr say there's something about Tom that you just know he's dead inside, that whatever is in Tom's head should be a movie
read this 3 minutes into the video. changed the entire experience for me. thank you sir.
3x3 animal style + raw onions + chopped peppers, animal fries, and a 7•Up. Best meal ever.
Plus IN-N-OUT pays their employees premium wages while every other fast food chains cheap their employees. Gotta support a company who treats their employees so well and makes a quality product.
You're wearing an LA hat my guy, I can't really take your word and unbiased
7up though? Really? Dude, try an arnold palmer next time. And grilled onions. And what the hell are chopped peppers and how did I not know about them?
Respect and reward your employees like they are actual people, not bots, and guess what? You get the kind of employee who is willing and able to treat your customers with respect. Props to In-N-Out for showing that responsible, humane management is compatible with success.
You know you on the right road when you gotta statt putting opinion disclaimers at the start of youtube clips
All love for In N Out and how they do business, I think that's important. Doesn't change that I've never had a good fry from there
Light well is perfect IMO but if you like super crispy like a chip. Get well done fry
Tom doing the right thing. Reppin that left coast hard. Love you bro!
That's a stupid way to think about anything. "I was born here so everything here must be the best no matter how good everything else is" shake shack is light years better than in n out because its higher quality food. Its not a debate. It's like comparing in n out to mcdonalds
Me: "I'm going on a diet"
*watches Sean in the Wild"
Also me: "fuck"
goddamn in N out!!! you just can't win with animal style fries I'm staying fat
Debate so serious they had to put the disclaimer
They're both awesome. I'm from the midwest and I gotta say.. Culvers is better than In-N-Out, better than Whataburger, and better than Shake Shack. Burgers, sandwiches, fried chicken, fried cod, cheese curds, chili cheese fries.. they do everything perfect. It's on no one's radar but it's a chain in the midwest
Juan Ulysses
Native Texan here, the rest of the country thinks that we think Whataburger is equal to in n out or shake shack.
We really don’t. It’s definitely better than like Wendy’s/BK/McDonalds but not better than SS or I&O.
But I like Shake Shack better than In n Out
kingdancekiller Alabamian chiming in here, Native Tennessean as well. Steak N Shake has all these places beat lmao.
Tommy Buns: "In-N-Out. Try it out!'
I love both, they are both great at what they do
Water Champ in the house
No other way for this to go! In N' Out, Baby!!
I’ve personally worked at In-N-Out and Shake Shack, I was a level 5 at In-N-Out and had an amazing time working there. We really arrived to being the best and having the best ingredients possible. Where as at Shake Shack, especially in Hollywood, they don’t really care about their produce, I’ve seen the prep people never clean the lettuce properly and never follow simple procedure to make sure the produce is clean before it goes on you’re burger. Idk up to you guys let me know
What? I dont care about Shake Shack, but In-N-Out has some of the worst produce I've ever eaten. Tomatoes are always pale and unripe on the inside of the burger. Not juicy or red like how a burger tomato should be. Lettuce choice is personal preference, but in my opinion, iceberg is a terrible choice in a burger. Takes away too much taste and in In-N-Out they overload the burger with it to be thicker than the meat itself. Pickles are mediocre so I have nothing to say on those.
Really im in awe about the tomatoes though. They are objectively trash and I don't get In-N-Out for that reason.
Lmaoo “best ingredients possible” it’s fucking glorified McDonald’s. Also, Hollywood is a pos place.
Been working at in n out for 3 months now and eat a burger every shift. That shit is never not good
For real, if I had to eat the same thing everyday for the rest of my life it would be in n out
Aye lol. What Store you work in? I'm at #156 in Union City. And yea, best burgers in the world my dude.
The problem is the food has always been sitting for awhile before ppl start these videos
I'm wondering where they are that they are close enough to both a shake shack as well as an In N Out. And lets say they are close enough, I'm wondering how long the food was sitting there before they got to eating it. I know damn well those fries were not hot and fresh.
@@cassianandor4103 There' a shake shake in West Hollywood and an In N Out in regular Hollywood- maybe 20 minutes apart
I think about that all the time! I hate eating food when it’s not hot anymore, call me boujie but I dgaf!!!
If the burger can hold up quality within a reasonable time frame I think it wins.
Tom sealed my like with the Arby's joke LOL
Should have Tom on Hot Ones
DiegoM Lpz im 90% sure Sean went to L.A to do a hot ones with Tom or Joe Rogan.
Zach Alzayer Lol you replied to a comment that was made before he was on hot ones...
you will never beat in-n-out on price, quality or speed of service
Although there’s always a huge line but once you get that double double animal style oof!!
All of them superb
wtf why they got shack burgers with no lettuce, tomatoes or shack sauce
No fuckin idea hahah! They compard a Shake Shack naked single cheese burger to a fully loaded in-N-Out burger.... ok! lol
California vs Texas, in and out vs whataburger with Post Malone
Whataburger is greasy nonsense. It's not even kinda good. I feel like the people who love Whataburger also love Waffle house and shit like that.
Just moved to Texas from SoCal. In N out shits all over whataburger.
The hell outta here, 'flying Dutchman'. Should of went 4x4 animal style with a neopolitin shake and smash shake shack in that secret menu game
The flying Dutchman is the most amazing thing I've had on the menu. I ordered a 8x8 and had to eat it sideways, and in doing so I had bites of all meat and cheese. This got me into the flying dutchman.
ridgezero if you want the real deal you get the 4x4 animal style with extra toast on the buns, well done meat, whole grilled onions, chopped chilis. add some ketchup and mustard in there. Yum yum. And THEN the animal fries but the fries cooked well. Now that is the secret menu
you gotta order a double triple bossy deluxe, on a raft, four by four animal style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease, make it cry, burn it, and let it swim.
So true goals is work at in-and-out while trying to be an actor or podcaster !
OMG they are bringing a shake shack to my town this year actually watching this episode I looked and they are this is gonna be so cool I can’t wait to try it
Completely forgot about Tom also, he's gotta do a hot ones
brownguy903 im 90% sure Sean went to L.A to do a hot ones with Tom or Joe Rogan. Either way, we will have to wait a couple of weeks . Sean is awesome, he listens to he fans
REAL BIG DADDY wow i didnt know that... Really? Why? Did he say why? Sounds weak coming from Joe...
Leo Charles If I'm not mistaken Joe said that he doesn't have the time to do something he's probably not gonna enjoy too much. And I respect that. I wouldn't want him to do it unless he was committing himself and having a good time. I wouldn't want Joe out here half-assing questions just because he's not super stoked to be doing what he's doing.
BADMACHE™ i see.. well yeah, i agree. The episode would suck for everybody if he wasnt into it from the begining. Still, Sean was in L.A for a reason. We are going to have to wait to see whats up =]
Price is a huge factor!
Sebastian Bleak seriously, the difference between these two is a big factor. A #2 from in n out with animal style fries is $10.
Shake shack will set you back at least $20.
yup, 3 burgers and fries, 2 shakes, 2 drinks cost me = $51.45 fucking crazy dude
I get the 4x4 from in n out every time. Stoked we have a couple in Oregon now
I’m for the east Coast and I visit Grants Pass, Oregon about once a year and one of the first things my husband and I do is hit the in and out. Before it opened it was the one in Medford.
In N Out-always and forever!!!!
Tommy buns! Keep them jeans high and tight!
Sean, has great interviewing skills. Compelling and thoughtful- thumbs up!
In&out super fresh food and been that way since I can remember so good
The Smokeshack burger is my favorite burger period. So damn delicious with those cherried red peppers. I crave it every time I'm traveling to a place that has that beautiful neon green burger sign.
Do you eat your in n out burger with pepperonicis?? You should. I love the smoke shack, but in n out be bussin
@@kaylinkelly6980 the smoke shack is better than anything in n out makes
@@LeatherDaddy97 that’s a subjective statement, but I do hold the smoke shack in high regard for its flavors, but my go to order is a 3x3 with meat cheese and pickles only so going to shake shack or anywhere for that same order would not be as well priced or as good quality
I’m from Georgia, Every time I see a in & out burger I immediately wanna fly to Cali🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@sgeineI'm a Californian we call it Cali all the time what the fuck are you talking about?
@@sgeine Tf are you talking about? I'm born and raised in Oakland and I have always said Cali. Don't speak for Cali, you sound ignorant lol
hahahaha from San Diego and we definitely say Cali. LOL Im glad some others have corrected your ass lol so please, say Cali all you want.
@@d4nkhill449 Born here, raised here, happy to take that stance. As I mentioned, many people outside that demographic to say it, and that's an easy way to tell they weren't born here ;)
>Double double animal style with WHOLE grilled onions
>Flying Dutchman
>Animal Fries
Ordering this way is cheaper than the 4x4 but you still get 4 patties. Sometimes, I only eat it with three patties and save the fourth to be mixed in with the animal fries.
While you are waiting for your food, ask for a bag of pickles and extra sauce. Eat the pickles as you wait for your order.
If you have any pickles left, eat them with the fries.
I lost it when Tom said "hey want a salmon milkshake?"
How did I miss this one?! Tom dropping awesome one liners Good job guys haha
Tom Segura knows what's up. 😎
Tom Segura ages like fine wine. How does he look younger every year?!
Loved in n out when I drove to the west years ago. They just opened a shake shack around here a year or a few years ago. I need to try it soon. Also, I ve heard steak n shake is the best.
Get him on hot ones tf
Coming from NYC, In-n-out was super exciting to go to when I visited Cali. Once I moved to Texas it’s not that great. Lol.
When youre back in the ny, check out the brindle room in manhattan. Best burger i've had in my life 👍
Holy hell! Tom is looking great. Props, man
Who else got hungry af watching this?
I only watch food videos when I’m eating or when I was broke and had no dinner to eat I’d watch videos about food and it would kinda help the hunger pains lol
Traveling to Phoenix couple times a year, I'm a true catastrophic fatass when it comes to In-n-Out. I land and I drive straight to the joint 6 bolocks away. Then I figured out the recipes from some research online. Love being able to make them at home.
Uhhh the disclaimer at the beginning tho........
You know complex is in trouble when they do that.
“Like if I eat this, can I get 6 more?”
Thiccc Boi Nation
I love them both. I'm on the east coast, so all I can get it Shake Shack and I'm not complaining. When I do get to the west coast In N Out is my 1st stop. Double Double mustard fried every time. Choosing a favorite is too difficult.
WATER CHAMP
Heyyyyy Tom.....
Where's ya show...?
Please bring back Sean in the wild 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Best burger show off ever. A classic west coast vs east coast show down. Couldn't do it any other way.
Shout out to Duck Tape and Throatzilla!
0:48...I love the way Tom is looking at Sean.
I'm Canadian we dont have in and out but that food looks amazing
In-N-Out is flippin amazing. So fresh, to the point, quality ingredients, simply the best.
NYC Lurker I mean I see them cut the potatoes at the restaurant but I guess that’s not fresh enough huh
@@97NikeSb This comment made me laugh. 😂 Haters are blind and will hate on In-N-Out just to go against the hype. But, for us Californians that get to have it whenever we want, we can TASTE the freshness of the ingredients.
Animal style fries are California Poutine. It's also the only way to get them because otherwise you're just eating wood splinters, blech. They called the fries right. As presented, In N Out is the way to go. If the fries are plain, go with the krinkles.
Now I want a Double Del burger and krinkles fries.
idk i eat for the main ingredients not really just the topping. if you have shit fries and you have to pour all this stuff on it to make them edible...its not for me.
Their fries are a little underdone by most people's opinions. If you like your fries to be more crunchy ask for them to be cooked well done and they'll double fry them. That puts them on par with McDonalds fries.
In-N-Out fries are fire plain if you order them well done
Tom looked so excited to eat all of in and out stuff lol
Omg they're both so fucking good. I'd pick Inn n Out though 3 outta 4 times probably because Shake Shack is just too expensive to have all the time.
YES, i love in N out!
I’m from Jersey. Never seen either of these ever!
Price considerations should be an important part of such comparisons. Sometimes it's just not apples to apples...
I just feel like in n out and shake shack can’t be compared, in n out you can get an amazing burger +fries drink for like 3 bucks 😂 shake shack you’re gonna walk out spending a minimum of $13, they’re both good, but ones a fast food joint, the others a restaurant
Andy Rivas had it yesterday. Double double $3.75, fries $1.50. So $5.25. Still less than half the cost of shake shack
Wrong. A double double combo meal is $7, plus an upcharge if you want animal style anything.
He said, burger, fries, and drink. You can't even get just a single burger for $3. Check your prices.
Shake shacks real good but so damn expensive
exactly $13 bucks for a meal but that small fuckin burger gtfoh. I can go to some nice local burger joint and get a better and bigger burger for the same price.
thats why you cant beat InNout...for $8 you get a double-double animal style, fries and drink...cant beat that!!
@@faranqamar8130 dude 3 burgers with fries was 56 dollars I was like never again Tbh not worth it.

good ole Tom Segura.
I love both.
I live here bro! What are you trying to do get me hurt? LOL
One thing that Sean always forgets to mention about in-in-out is that they actually use all Choice beef in their burgers
Nice! But how do they keep the burgers warm during the setup, etc.? Surely they don't eat them at room temperature.
Glad I live in LA, slight nod to Shack, but omg In-n-Out has been a life long passion.
in and out was fire in la!!! where can i get that sweatshirt seaney boy??
I was like "tf is with this disclaimer?" then I got to 1:20 and it all made sense.
WHATABURGER V. IN-N-OUT
MAKE IT HAPPEN SEAN
It isn't a contest. In-N-Out > Whataburger. Whataburger may win on size but it can't touch the quality of In-N-Out
After liking In-N-Out for many years... and after living in Texas for 3 years... haven't touched In-N-Out since I tasted Whataburger
I've had pretty much every fast food burger and would take Culvers and Whataburger over In-N-Out any day.
They cut out all the shit I talked about Whataburger 😂😂😂
Dude are you for real right now? First of all In-N-Out is bland with a side of grease, and now you tell me you been talking shit on Whataburger?! Somebody help this man he is clearly insane
