Very very under rated movie. You think it's a total love story cliche but it's the opposite and all you want by the end is to be a cliche love story because you feel so so much for these two even after the movie ends. Really hoping for a sequel. Chris Evans did a phenomenal job for his first time!

You know those times when you find a movie randomly. You watch it and you like one actor in the movie a lot. You watch a couple of interviews with the actor and then you search up more movies the actors playing in. Then you realize its been one really famous actor all along. Yeah that's how I found Chris lol.i saw this movie first then I found out he's captain america... I know I know I should know he's Cap but still.

Everyone should see this film, it's simply amazing. It's nothing like these cliché, cheesy romantic comedies. Chris blew me away with this, so proud of him. And I hope to see him direct more films. I love the story, loved the performance, and it's just amazing because it's honest.

In all seriousness, this movie was so beautiful. The simplicity of the shots and angles were just so perfect, the acting was wonderful and the storyline just made it so much realistic. I loved the movie, it’s definitely not what I expected

I don't know why many gave this movie bad reviews, I thought it was great and genuine. Love both Chris' and Alice's chemistry here. I think the ending was perfect for this kind of movie, but sometimes I wish they would make a sequel just so I could see both of them again lol. And props to Chris too for great directing!

Saw this movie, it stuck with me for a long time afterwards. Something you could really feel touch your soul. Two people who help each other resolve some issues and find a deep connection. Very beautiful.

this is such a good movie, definitely one i could keep watching. some of the scene/quotes hit home. when they're sitting on the bench and she tells her story. that scene hurt me, how she said she did nothing except read the emails over and over like they were a novel. how she was paralyzed and couldn't confront him bc she didn't want to lose her world or one chance at love... smh. this movie never fails to make me cry and never stops me from starting it over

This is one of my favorite movies ever. It's just a beautiful story about two strangers that met by chance and decided to help each other. And the one night they spend together is just magical, really. If you're considering to watch this movie.. I'm telling you, do it! You will not regret it.

I wanted them to end up together at the end so bad bc that's the romantic in me but then I realized this story isn't about them falling in love, it's about meeting people in your life who help change your outlook on life , love maybe everything. I Wish I knew what he wrote on the back of the card but he was right, you can't make someone else interesting if they are already committed to someone else.

heck of a directorial debut! a film that was shot in 19 days, ends up being a very solemn and well-made movie. nothing over the top, and not exactly the usual romcom ending you'd expect.

The writing didn't throw them together just because they were both grieving or lost metaphorically. If u watch the movie, you'll understand how they become each other's trusted confidants in one night. To me it was as realistic as it could have been in a fictional world. Wonderful writing and directing. BUT DAMN THAT ENDING!

Its 1 AM and i finished this movie, the last moment when they get separated the performance of the actors is amazing! their eyes said everything, i got really connected to the movie which made me cry, I don't know why I feel connected with Chris, he is the best actor❤

I just watched this movie for the 3rd time and everytime i watch it, there is a nostalgic feeling about it.
Great film I especially loved the ending. Chris Evans is going to be a great director
If considering, go ahead and watch this film. It's not as sappy as it looks, it all takes place within one night which makes it interesting, more and more about the characters is revealed as the night goes on, it is simply well filmed and acted, and it is one of the few honest and brutally realistic romance movies of our time. I give this film a very high recommendation.
I gave this movie a chance thinking it would be just another cliche romance film. I'm so glad I decided to watch it. I recommend just jumping in - I'm pretty sure you will be pleasently surprised. I know I was.
Ugh I can't stand the whole you can't help who you fall in love with cliche. Everyone has an initial attraction to someone they like and it's your decisions whether or not you focus your time and energy thinking about them and getting to know the things about them that makes you fall for them. So yeah, you can help who you fall in love with.
smjai477 Nope. I fell in love with a guy I had no attraction to the first time I met him. We worked together. Over time, I fell in love with him, he was funny as hell and had tons of charisma, there were things about him i had not been exposed to that started to surface and make him attractive in ways I hadn't anticipated. I had no intention of falling for him, there was no initial attraction and I wasn't looking for love, but I couldn't just stop myself once I did fall because I didn't realise it was happening. It was not something I could help. If you are clinical enough to know before hand what you will feel for someone, and are able to stop yourself as if you are a machine who can control feelings like that, then good on you!

Yesterday finished watching Before We Go and couldn't but say that I genuinely loved the inspiring movie by Chris Evans❤️it gets you so emotionally involved! The amazingly talented actor Chris Evans turned out to be a great film director too🎬 if you like relaxing atmospheric movies with soothing dialogues and a beautiful soundtrack, I recommend watching it 10/10. Special thanks for the Carrie Bradshaw thing😜 and a different approach to the night time NY depiction. To say I'm impressed and inspired is to say nothing at all!
P.S. Almost forgot to say that Chris Evans is also one of the most winsome and charming men I've ever seen... and thanks him for that too))
