Thule Air Base, Greenland '83 ~ '86 revised master II-- 2019 movie

By now you've probably heard of Thule Air Base, Greenland. While in the US Air Force, I spent 2-years ('83 - '84 & '85 -'86) on what folks call the "Top of the World."
I am surprised how much I enjoyed the experience and the fine people I grew to know.
Greenland is not the greenest place to live. But it is a uniquely beautiful place in its own special way. Any place where one experiences 24-hours of daylight during summer, while winter months offer 24-hours of total darkness--along with LOTS 'O' DEEP FREEZING COLD, will cause doubt about life up north.
This footage has survived well, since being recorded in the 80's, on my first video camera. It was part of my library in the Philippines, in 1991--when Mt. Pinatubo erupted, chasing us in all directions. Once the ash was shaken off, thank goodness my library remained intact.
If by chance, you spent a tour of duty in Greenland (just a short hop from the North Pole), this shaky video effort might bring back fond memories..
