Beautiful little boat bro Congrats!!😍I watched the break down vid too. Looks like a solid little runner like you said! 46 is killer for that size boat! Love the torque roll self righting too! Proboat is really pumping out some nice rigs this year!! I did my V1 Sonicwake in the V2 decals and with all the already upgrades I had she's a sweet running boat! Hope to get some boat footage soon! Stock electronics should be able to handle 4S. I have the older Recoil 26 and it's my favorite boat, I live on a choppy lake and its a perfect wave jumper. You have link for the dasboata prop?

Wow,that must be the perfect rc boat test lake...why don't you show battery temps also?... i can't tell you how many batteries i blewup when i first started messing with boats over 10 years ago... incredible speed on 3s stock boat for sure...is the hull fiberglass or abs?thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I rarely get hot batteries. Use cnhl 70c or Graphene packs and they will treat you well. Of course if you run them down to nearly nothing then they will get hot and can catch fire but i try to sat on top of my run times.

New to boats and rc what charger do you recommend and which batteries ?
This boat comes RTR with Lipo and a usb charger already to get you going. I like the Pro Tec charger. Can charge 4 lipos at same time. Spektrum, Turnigy, and CNHL are all great brands of lipos.

Have you had any issues with that boat turning way better one direction and barely on the other side for the life of me I cannot figure out why, and my power cord is away from the servo so I ruled that one out tested turning out the water and it turns both ways pretty much equal
Yes, like 90% of the hobby grade boats, this boat is made to turn right. The rudder is offset. Most all boats unless the rudder it in the center of the transom it is setup to turn right,

I don't think so. It will charge the 3s that comes with the boat though.
What is the specs of the dasboata Prop ?
It ended up around 42 mm but its a full blown custom. I had in my box and just decided to try it. This might not be the best prop for it...time will tell.

For the 4s can I run a 100c or does it have to be a 50c

@@gaffman732 the custom 1616 is the fastest prop. Yes higher the c rating the better....just be careful and dont buy the no name brand lipos.
What other prop could I use to get good speed if this one isn’t out?
642 or a 442 octura, or a prather 220 or a 440/3 all work good from my testing

Both are very good boats. Depends if you have a big lake or small lake. This one is better for small lakes and sonic is better for large lakes.
