Im so bummed. I ran the Recoil2 for about 5 minutes. Stock everything right out of the box. I ran it for maybe 4 minutes on 4S. Was pretty slow and the ESC died it seems. Lost all motor power but the rudder was working fine. I read that the stock esc is trash. Can you recommend a better replacement? Thanks

Awsome! I knew this little boat had 50 mph in the bag on 4s but wow! 57!!! 60 is definitely possible! I want this little boat so bad. The perfect grab and go boat to me. No need for alot of packs , multiple controllers, and a rescue Boat.

You running the stock size prop still 40mm if I remember, or what's the size you tested.
Guess this boat would benefit from dual cooling for motor and esc on a 4s setup
This is was a mod prop around 42mm. Dual cooling never hurts on any boat and would definitely help keep temps lower.
That V2 is great and i know it can run 60's mph and you know it 🔥🔥🔥
Yes it's great. 60mph would be moving real good for a boat this size.

My brandnew Proboat Recoil 2 Shreddy broke after 1 or 2 minutes of sending it on 4s
Only my steering was working but no throttle.
Is it also normal that their is a delay for like 0,5 second when you pull the throttle

That sucks. Shouldn't be any delay with the rx/tx.
The engine is not too small and does not overheat too much and the cooling system is effective as the body of the motor is not directly cooled?
the motor mount is cooled. The body can't be cooled because it is an out runner type brushless motor.

It's got mega throw on this servo. I actually need to turn it down a little.
Any issues w/ esc on 4s mine blew all 3 capacitors within min first run, replaced esc and haven't run 4s since
No issues with mine at all.
Little dual cooling and maybe slightly larger hose and it’ll be fine

Marine grease after every outing or every 4 battery packs.
@@MrMad2424 one more question bud and I subbed and liked also, how big of batteries can I use in this thing I was thinking about swapping the c3 connector with ic5 I think it is on all my arrma rcs it's nice it came with a battery but I have loads with the ic5 got batteries and also 1 4s that's 5200 50c bot those are thicker than stock battery wondering if that's an issue again thank you so much for your knowledge and time brother!
@@kylefletcher1002 No problem Thanks! 4s 5000 mah will fit but keep in mind the added weight could break the battery tray out of the boat. If it does its wouldn't be a problem to re epoxy it back in but just know the added weight could be an issue but the physical dimensions of a 4s 5ooomah pack will fit.

Yes sir. It self-rights with a 3800mah 4s. Haven't really tried any others 4s packs yet.
Did they fix the horrible design of the 1st one with the flimsy canopy that would fly off and break? Thank you for the recommendation of Chris Hoffman by the way, he can definitely wake a boat up!
No problem. Yes this canopy is 2.5mm thick. Very strong.
Any idea when they will ship? The website unfortunately doesnt say anything about it running on 4S, they should update that.
In a couple of weeks they will be shipping. Manual says 4s as an optional upgrade lipo..

It will fit but the battery tray may not be able to hold all the extra weight in a crash. That's a heavy battery.
