- Here is my first run with a Chris Hoffmann (dasboata) prop of the NEW ProBoat Sonicwake 36 V2 (PRB08032V2T2) 36" self righting BL Deep-V RTR. I also show a couple of clips of the boat running some laps and the self righting feature working. I want to give a big shout out to Horizon Hobby for sending me this boat out to test. Check out the running videos on my channel. Thanks for watching!

More Specs below:
Serious Speed
The Sonicwake V2 36-inch Self-Righting Deep-V features a ballistic 4-pole Spektrum FIRMA 2000KV water-cooled brushless motor capable of propelling the boat to speeds in excess of 55 MPH.
Extreme Power from Waterproof Electronics
The Sonicwake V2 uses the new Spektrum 120a marine ESC that can handle more amperage than needed to run the boat with authority and speed.
Self-righting Hull Design
Designed to be as stable as possible with a self-righting feature if you ever flip it. Unlike other boats, the self-right feature does not require power to work. Give it a few seconds and the flood chamber will fill with water, making the boat self-right. Hit the throttle and the water exits the flood chamber as the boat moves forward.
Upgraded Hardware
Now with larger turn fins, Adjustable trim tabs, and larger propeller strut. Fine tuning your boat has never been easier.
SLT Radio System
The SLT3 is included with the all new Dual Protocol receiver. This system allows you to upgrade to the radio of your choice, without the need to purchase a separate receiver.
Dual Water Pickup
Keeping your electronics cool is a priority and we have increased the water flow by adding a dual water rudder pickup. This added water flow will make sure cool clean water is being sent to both the ESC and Motor keeping your temps in check.
Clean Interior
Keep your boat looking good, with this all new interior keeping your boat clean is easier than ever. We have integrated a grease catch to prevent any marine grease from spreading inside your boat while operating. Cooling line clips keep your water system where it should be while optimizing the waterflow to the critical components that need to be water cooled.
Sealed Canopy
The composite canopy features locking threaded thumb screws making it easy to put on and remove the canopy for hull access. A foam gasket around the canopy opening prevents water from flooding the hull when upside down. - Zábava

Nice updates on this V2. Moves out good, and Looking real nice. Is this the same lake the RC Sailors always run boats at? Looks like it. Lol
Thanks! No this is in Tennessee The Sailors are somewhere in KY.
I do miss boating. I had a Blackjack 24 and sold it. I might get something new.
Gotta love the boats.
That's awesome speed is this boat stock and what battery did you run it. I notice it has a Dasbota prop on it..great video ty for sharing this video. I just bought this boat. Looks like a great boat.
Yes bone stock with a dasboata prop. Batteries were probably cnhl 70c 5.000 mah
You're lucky to have gotten one because I've called four different shops and they're not even on the market yet and they're taking the list and that's 200 miles from my house
Thanks! ProBoat sent me a couple back in February to test.
Great video! Can the stock esc handle that new prop for laps, or mainly top speed runs? Also, what batteries were you running 2S or 3S parallel or series? I used to be an avid RC boater and looking to get back into it. This boat looks like a good choice for a new purchase!
speed runs only. 3S in series.
Awesome looking boat! What kind of GPS do you have?
Thanks! This was a garmin vivoactive gps in this video.
👍
Thanks!
PERFECT RUN 🥳🥳
WHICH LIPO?? TRADE MARK?
Thanks! That was a CNHL 6s 5,000mah pack.
@@MrMad2424 THANKS MY FRIEND 👌
Which from from Dashboata is that? Pretty impressive! Glad I just ordered one today.
Thanks! It is a version of the Super Sonic 3 prop. It's not ready yet.
What specs on this Super Sonic 3 Prop? Or if not what the SuperSonic 2 was??
@@marxboatworx Super sonic 2 was a 2 blade prop. The SS3 is a 3 blade prop. They are custom tailored for these boats. He just names them that way.
@@MrMad2424 Oh nice! I can’t wait for chris to release that prop then.
@@bigboyrc25 I was running the stock prop in the "running laps" part of this video. The speed pass was the dasboata prop
Trying to convince the wife our kid needs this for her 1st birthday coming up. It isnt working though lol
LOL! You'll get it eventually.
most of your videos you don't tell us what cell count or what the prop is other then it is a custom dasbota Chris Hoffman prop ? what prop did he use to make it? and was it 6S or
4S ?
6s Dasboata super sonic 3 prop
How to reach 64 mph? The original only 50mph? Change larger propeller? What is the size of it?
Changed the prop.
@@MrMad2424 thanks
What about temperatures on motor and ESC
This was with a speed run prop on 6s. Temps will get hot if you run more than a few passes.
Wow buddy that's gonna be a ripper once you dial it in....
Thanks!
Dang it I just bought a v1 a week ago
V1 is a good boat also. This one has some good upgrades though.
I am sure once you fine tune it it will hit 80+ lol
That'd be nice for sure!
