Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

I miss England so much. I miss the culture; history; food, people, polo matches... be safe to the both of you :)
@18:29 wow that's a big rat...in the background... welcome back to the UK
Im so happy for you both. Rest sleep and hibernate for two weeks. See your family and friends and have a good cry. Enjoy your holiday Theo and Bea, and have fun shopping for all your house bits. Also Theo you and Bea get the help you need. You have been so loving and supportive of each other, lm sure with all of your supporters best wishes and blessings you will get the holistic support and medical support you ned to help Bea. But dont forget about yourself Theo, its good to get you some help also, its mentally stressful and hard when you are trying to take on everything and feeling useless because you cant fix your beautiful Bea. Pleas stay safe in England both of you.
May I suggest asking a vet if Fanando,(hope that's correct),can take benadryl on the way back. He will sleep most of the trip.
Many prayers for you guys. Big hug for Bee. You hang in there lady, God is always with you.
I wish you and Bee all the best Theo, itâs sad to watch the videos and know that sheâs so close but wishes not to be a part of. Praying for both of you and your marriage đđ»
I had a spell of depression and cried for three years when in my early 40s. I am 74 now and have enjoyed many happy years. Depression is hard I pray Bee feels better very soon. Both of you deserve to feel real deep joy! You are beautiful people
I started empty nesting about 2 1/2 year's ago
I still have issues. And cry sometimes. Is that normal?
@@michellebeebelewisfrith1544 Therapy is always an option no matter if the feelings are normal or not. You know yourself best, make sure you take care of yourself, no matter how that self care looks like
I want Bea to get the help she needs, and never think anyone will judge ,her mental health is so important. Everyone deals with life differently. We love you two, take care.
This is so true. Simone Biles had to take care of her mental health and she's getting bashed in social media. I think we need mental health to be treated just like physical health.
@@nickrachjames sheâs also back competing very quickly đ
L
You are one of lifeâs true gentlemen Theo.
You're an absolute legend, Theo!!! Please don't feel any pressure to post another video on your usual schedule. You've been carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Just like Bea has needed this time off CZcams to heal and reset, I believe, as much as I'm sure the rest of your love army believes, that you need to do the same for yourself! We'll be here whenever you're ready :)
They need the money.
I felt so relieved knowing you had a good long sleep on the ferry!
Those were JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) cars being tested for RDE (real driving emissions). The box on the back is taking very accurate measurements of emissions during normal driving.
The crazy patterned a rapid to break up the outline so that the real lines of the car is hard go make out. See "dazzle camo" from mainly WWI, used to make it hard for the enemy to make out exact type, direction, and speed of (mainly) ships, for proper targeting.
Yup, in the states we call those packs Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS). I worked at a research facility that did a lot of this type of work.
We get lots of these driving through Corby in the Northamptonshire, which is about an hour from Coventry so I have always assumed they are JLR.
Commend yourself, Theo, its difficult to care for a loved one when you know you can't help. I hope you're getting some much needed rest and you give me hope for a partner as dedicated as you are! You are both shining examples of the real world goals most of us strive to achieve in finding happiness, it's not always sunshine and roses. Rest easy now!
Seeing Gingey relaxing in the van was so adorable! Theo - you have been a champ in making these videos for us. Have a good rest now. Take care of yourselves, both of you. I am truly wishing Bea good health. Our thoughts are with her. Post whenever you're ready - we'll all be here waiting. :)
Bee is such a lovely caring person with a wonderful smile and I miss seeing her and hearing her voice on your videos. Hopefully she will be feeling better soon and the traveling rejuvenates her. Wishing the best for you both, take care and enjoy your holiday in the UK.
I'm not surprised Fernando doesn't like travelling. He probably thought he was off to the Vets to get something else lopped off! Glad you made it back to the UK safely and good luck with getting some help for Bea. â€â€â€
â€ïž
So glad you made it safely . Take care all of youâ€
Gingey-Bear has had a lot of travelling experience. This is new to Fernando and heâs just a little boy. đâ€ïž
Have a very safe journey to UK.All just have lots of love and happiness together. We will all be waiting for your safe return to your real home.lots of love to you all.đđđđđđđ
I agree! đ
Iâve been receiving help from the mental health community for 37 years (off and on) and I wouldnât still be here without it. Iâm so glad that Bee was willing to ask for help. Itâs such a huge step. You both are legends and Iâll be waiting to hear how it goes. The very best to you both and take good care.
I am in total alignment with you, Robin. I have also been through devastating periods of depression, wondering if i would ever know happiness again, would i ever look forward to anything again. I have so much gratitude for the help i've received, and have tremendous compassion for anyone who has struggled with this. My support and best wishes to you, Robin!
Thank you, I haven't watched the previous videos and I was wondering where she was.
Best wishes to you!
Theo, you are a bloody saint. Well done, what a man! â€
I think we could all benefit from a video of Gingey the Traveling Legend as she relaxes, sleeps & stay close to you on this long trip. Could feel my blood pressure drop whenever you panned to her in the van. đŸ You've been so strong, Theo. Hope you & Bee are able to find the help you need to return to health. đ
Great idea! And youâre right with the blood pressure drop effect-GINGEY!
Only problemâŠmakes me snoozy and am hoping it doesnât have that effect on Theo!
Theo, you are a super hero, working alone by yourself and so hard on the house, the property, the chickens and kitties, taking care of Bee, and trying to be available to for your friends and fans on CZcams and your vlog, running so many errands then getting everything arranged for your trip back to the UK, and then making this long journey driving back to the UK. You must be completely exhausted, please rest and take the much needed time and rest that you need and so deserve now that you are back in the UK. Bee will finally get tge proper medical care and treatment she needs, Thank goodness. But you have been running yourself ragged, burning the candle at both ends to point of total exhaustion. And that alone while your spouse is suffering from severe depression on top of all you're going through, been through is a lot, its daunting, and too much for one person to carry. And actually is often harder on you, the spouse of someone suffering the depression, more do than it is on the person with the depression. We all wish the very best of medical care and help for Bee, and a successful outcome, that being said you Theo need to take care of yourself, and take this time to relax, allow yourself to enjoy your time back home in the UK, and catch up on your overall mental and physical health too. God Bless you and Bee. Take care, and Best wishes. We will certainly be here whenever you and Bee are better, and ready to film again. Much love. XO.
Low magnesium can cause depression and drugs only lower it. Start taking 1/4 tsp of epson salt daily. It can prevent heart attacks, help your Neurotransmitters in the brain to connect. You can not eat enough food to get enough of it.
Read book Magnesium Miracle 2014 edition. Pregnant women could take it safely.
God Bless you and your families, have a great time.
@@GODBLESSES - Excuse me, but are you a Board Certified and Licensed Medical Doctor? If not, then don't be telling people to take nor use items that can harm them. You know NOTHING about Bee, what Medical conditions she may have, past and current, nor what prescription medications, foods, other she may be allergic, nor are you educated, degreed, nor qualified to give her and Theo Medical advice. If you wish to play Doctor, go out and get the 10 plus years of education it takes to be one, otherwise you are considered practicing medicine without a license, which is a criminal offense. I'm married to a medical doctor whom has practiced medicine for 56 years, and you do not know what you are talking about. I'm sorry if it sounds harsh for me to tell you this, but you could kill someone telling them to take stuff which you know nothing about, nor anything about her full Medical history. People CAN BE allergic to anything. And certain medications and minerals can and do NOT always mix. Each person is different, depending on the person's health.
@@charlottecannon314 Calm down. This person is helping. Its upto them to look into alternative medicines/healing. If someone has offered advice, There's no harm in that. No need to to be dramatic
Well said! You relayed everything i wanted to say! Thanks!
@@Brian_Saginashvili_ Exactly. Typical medical attack on someone offering alternative methods in healthcare. Medical is not always the best solution. The advice was just that...advice! It was OFFERED ADVICE, not "DEMANDED TO FOLLOW NOW!" Simmer down, Char.
Theo youâre the best boyfriend ever, Bea is in great hands! So happy youâre both back with family! Tell Bea to take care, and we wish her well. In the meantime, show us around where you grew up!!
Gingey is an absolute dream! She's so relaxed when travelling
Iâm very proud of all you accomplished this last month, Theo. You stepped up and took care of everything to make this trip happen. So glad that you all made it safely to your destination, and I hope you take some well deserved time off. Remember you have to put the oxygen mask on yourself first in order to help others. Sending my best to you, Bea, Gingey, and the Problem Child
Theo, don't beat yourself up to make video. We'll be here when you get back. At least go back to one video per week if you absolutely insist.
I so agree!
I agree, you just look knackered and I hope heading back to the uk gives you some much needed r&r
I agree!
Another in agreement too!
We love all 4 of you so much!
Take Fernando around in the car and van as much as you can and make each ride fun and successful.
If every other trip had been to the Vet - that probably wasn't the best thoughts about car trips.
Treats for car trips! Start having him on a harness too so he gets used to it.
He may not be a "natural," but he CAN be taught!
Im agreeing with the others just rest. Besides we can go back to the beginning of the house build and watch again. Also we have your portugal friends to watch too. God bless you guys.
Have a rest! Hope Bea is feeling safe and warm. Good luck with sorting out what she needs to help her get herself back. Itâs been a tough time for most. Sending love! đđŒ
Theo, make sure to enjoy your stay and vacation from the daily grind on the house. Bee, as someone that also deals with depression, I am so proud of you for taking your mental health very seriously! Lots of love and prayers to both of you. We'll be waiting til you're ready to shine your wonderful smiles at us again, whenever that shall be.
Such a long way for you all, and the cats too. Omg...Gingey...star traveller!! đ„°. Wishing you both well and positive things for Bee and her treatment. Theo...you are tired. Please take time for yourself too, you need some 'me' time too. Best wishes xx
Respect and admiration to you Theo but you must also look after yourself as well. I miss Beeâs laughter so much so my heart goes out to you all and all best wishes xx
Best wishes for you both. We find you to be irresistable: hard workers, genuine, loving, open, and completely winning.
No wonder so many people love you!
You and Bea have such a beautiful and supportive relationship - such a blessing to see. Through good, great and the not so great times, the love is there. I hope Bea will find the comfort she needs and enjoy a speedy recovery.
Those wrapped vehicles are new cars that haven't been released yet, the companies themselves test-drive in these wraps to conceal any new features to be noticed by outsiders, every brand actually does it exactly like that. It is actually very rare to come across these and car-enthusiasts LOVE them, it's a sneak-peak into the new yet-to-be-released cars.
There are loads of them in Coventry due to Jaguar Land Rover being there. đ
Glad you all got to the UK safely.
These are not so rare. Seen them more than few times in Sierra Nevada national park. I gues they are testing how engines behave in very high altitudes.
Exactly. And those tech units connected to the exhaust must be testing the vehicle emissions levels
Theo you are doing a fantastic job of keeping the videos going. Im so proud of you for taking the reins over and flying with them. I have really enjoyed your good job. Thanks......
There are no words that can truly describe the admiration and compassion I feel for both of you. Rest now Theo and take care of yourself and your lady. I suffer from dodgy health both mental and physical and there is nothing more important than taking care of self. Sending prayers for your safety and welfare. Know you are loved hugely xxxx
I almost cried with relief seeing you finally back on home soil đđđđ
Thank you Theo for updating us, poor little fernando was obviously afraid, a sedative from the vets would be a good idea for going back. Cats like to feel safe and not many like travelling. A big dog crate would be kinder for him and safer. Hope bea gets the help she needs. Take care Theo, you are truly a rock. Keep those fur babies safe. Sending love and light xx
Yeah, for the trip back, a bigger crate would be nice.
I agree having traveled with cats before. A larger crate also can hold a foil pan with litter or shredded paper so he can do his 'business' in it. A few drops of essential lavender oil on the underside of a cushion or blanket in the crate is calming to cats as well. A hampster/bunny water bottle can also be hooked up to a larger crate. May you all get much needed rest. May Bea get the help she needs. Love you all.
I do love Bee and Theo but my heart went out to Fernando. The box was way to small and he broke out of it through panic and fear. His perfect world has been turned upside down. Hope he doesn't get out in UK as he would not be streetwise and used to cars or may get lost. I wish Bee well and Theo needs a well deserved rest but my thoughts are also with the lovely Fernando. Stay safe.
Just wanted to let you guys know that we feel that you are part of our lives. Wishing Bea the best as she works her way back to health. Kudos to you Theo for all the hard work and concern! And Bea, look forward to seeing your beaming personality again!
Gingy is giving you the slow blink. Sheâs showing you her love for you.â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïžâșïž
Gingy Bear is such a laid back traveller. Reminds me of the Siamese cat my parents had years ago. He was a great traveller.
Safe travels and look after yourselves.
Please don't stress.
Theo, you have gone so far above and beyond. I am sad to see you so exhausted. I hope this trip helps Bea, helps you both. It is scary to see you leave the home you have worked on so many many hours and are so close to finishing. I look forward to your trip and most of all your return to Portugal, to finish and live happily in your beautiful home..
I've wondered if it would actually be helpful to Bea to do a bit of traveling. If they've been traveling for 6 years maybe being in one place for a while might be a big adjustment. đ€·ââïž
Nourish & hydrate your bodies, get rest and keep going forward. If we didnât have these ups & downs, weâd be flatline. Have a beautiful week.
Iâve been so worried for Bee. Youâre a legend, Theo, for taking such good care of everyone and getting her to a safe place where you can both have the support of family and medical care. Wishing you both lots of peace, healing and love. â€ïž
You two are epic! Even when Bea is so depleted sheâs driven all that way.
Rest up and take good care of yourselves x
So glad you made it safely. You may want to talk to the vet while youâre there about getting some kitty Valium to make the journey back a bit easier for Fernando. Wishing you the best!
I was thinking the same thing about a trip to the veterinary, to help poor Fernando.
We found an herbal remedy to fly our cat. She was great the entire flight.
Gravol works as a sedation.
Oh yes!
@@BirgitSchinke with instructions from our vet I used benedryl for one of our dogs who struggled with travel, but Iâm not sure what works for cats.

Theo, you are an amazing, caring, and compassionate man. I'm so inspired by your resilience and positivity, and your unwavering love for Bee. And Bee, you are so strong and wise to know when you need to step out of the spotlight and take care of yourself ; that wisdom and self care is also inspiring! I'm in Jerusalem, Israel (we joke that here it's a direct call to God; not a long-distance call). You are both in my prayers for a complete healing of body, spirit, heart, and soul. Rest up. Enjoy your families and friends. Eat your fill of fish and chips. All of us who care about you just want to know that you are both resting, relaxing, and restoring your equilibrium. We'll all still be here whenever you're ready to be back online, whether that's in a few weeks or months or longer. đđđ PS loved the music as you began your journey home to the UK.
Those weird cars you saw at the port are called "Erlkönig" in Germany. your quess was right, they are full of sensors and computers as they are testing the new model of the car or software, hardware and so on. The weird patterned coating is a special foil to disturb camera lenses when taking a foto.
Glad you made a safe journey and are with your family! Greetings south Germany
Wondering where to get a foil hat, mask and outfit to foil all the camera snooping!
I hope you will be able to take some time to do things away from the cameras. We'll be here, waiting to follow your journey. Love to Bee
is this after the Schubert liede Erlkonig? The Elven King? lol
@@peggydwyer1932 yes it is! or rather the original is from goethe. because in the poem the father can't see the Erlkönig and also the car is a mythical being when no one can document it ; )
Sending Global Healing energy to Bea and all who are struggling in these times. Thank you for keeping us updated. It looks like Fernando is finally getting the groove of being a travelling cat. Gingey is a star traveler!!! Much love to all of you.
May we all receive the best possible healing outcomes.
That was some drive Theo. You've done an amazing job getting everything to where it is to make this trip possible. Long hard road, but you've done wonders. Depression and MH issues are probably amongst he most difficult things we can come across in our lives, especially when they effect a loved one, but you will both get through this. All my very best to Bea and remember to take some time for yourself. You've been going hell for leather and you need to recharge the batteries.
âThere are as many people in this car park than in the districtâ đđ massive shock coming back eh?

Good luck . I hope things đwork out
Youâre lucky with Gingy-Iâve had many cats and all of them hated being in the car/travelingâŠone of our cats went through every possible noise she could muster up through the trip!-anyway, glad youâre all safe and back in the UK for now :)
The love you have for Bea is astounding. I wish blessings on you both every day. You're both amazing people. Have faith, have hope. You already have love. Imma Bob Marley here: don't worry bout a thing, cause evrylittle thing's gonna be alright!
So lovely watching gingey catâŠwish my girl was like her đ As for furnando a little tiny bit of Piriton works but donât take my word for it check with a vet. You have done everything you can dear Theo and a bit of pampering for you might be helpful. Please tell Bea âitâs ok not to be okâ love to you both.
This was a BRILLIANT video, so interesting, so well done. Praying for Bee.
Gingey is an absolute scene stealer. I smiled at all of her lovely poses. Theo, get some sleep. Take care of yourself so you can take care of Bee.
Hey Theo and Bee~Glad you're back in your home country where you have support and the help that Bee needs. Theo, you are a wonderful human. And, btw, Fernando's difficulty w/travel is just like all the cats I've ever traveled with. Gingey Bear is the exception and exceptional! Take good care, you four!
I thought the home country was now Portugal.
I sufferd from deep depression a psychologist helped me out there. I had no medicine only talking helped, garden working, sports and cooking. Everybody has his own way out of the dark but it is important that there are people around someone and help you. Just being there and listing is also important and time it takes a lot time to break through. I hope the best for Bee
Exactly! The dĂ©pression can be overcome without medecine. In my Case yoga, meditation, crafting and .....cooking too! ( cooking should be mandatory i believe...đđ)
And you are totaly right your family, your friends, these wonderful people around you, these are the fondamental first pillar of light in the dark.
I might add that a full examine is in order. It could be hormonal issues, Dietary issues or an unknown medical problem. I am glad she is at a place that can address all the issues. That she will be well again.
Welcome home Theo, Bea, Gingey and Fernando. Just enjoy yourselves now you're home. Bless you Theo you're a good man xxxx
Home? What do you mean? I thought Portugal would be home. Maybe that is the problem?
Home as in Birth country

I am sure she enjoyed it but professional help will takeoff where mom left off to continue to see what is her deepest need. Thanks Theo for being there for her through the rough times when it was just the two of you. Your reward will be having your Bee back in a condition that will make both of you very happy.

I have followed you from the start of your renovation and enjoyed every minute. Was delighted when you were posting twice a week.
So sorry that Be has had such a bad time of it. It must have been a struggle for her to keep up appearances all the time. She is very brave and shows inner strength.
So interesting your journey back to the UK. I did it with my husband and children in 1987 from Dover to Santander to start a new life in Southern Spain. We were in the middle of the Bay of Biscay during the famous hurricane that hit the UK. We were stuck in the entrance of Santander harbour for ten hours. We had our two large dogs with us at the time too. A nightmare as you can imagine. 34 hours those poor dogs were not able to relieve themselves. The dogs both survived and both lived to a ripe old age.
Will be so interesting to see Nottingham again, as that is where l am from. Still in Spain, now with two adopted cats.
Thank you for making great and interesting videos. I am now an old lady of 77 and now know how to make a lime mix if called upon. Bless you both and can't wait for more videos xxx
Theo and Bea, I'm gonna miss you guys. Please don't stop posting your vĂdeos. I wish with all my heart Bea gets better soon.
