    Hello!If an amount of coolant will be lost during the process,so I will have to top it up,do I need to overhaul the coolant system then?Thank you!

    • @screwsnutsandbolts
      @screwsnutsandbolts  Před 9 měsíci +1

      If it's only a very small amount it should be ok but if you lose a significant amount you can just top it up. If you need to do that, pour the coolant in slowly and squeeze the rubber hoses to release any air bubbles that may have got trapped in them.

      I wasn't actually having any fault. It was only for demonstration. These are some of the problems you may experience if it fails:
      Engine Overheating.
      Illuminated Check Engine Light.
      Black Smoke from Exhaust.
      Difficulty Starting the Car.
      Fluctuating Temperature Gauge.
      Rough Idling.
      Radiator Fan Problems

    Hi! If it's put a FEBI BILSTEIN sensor on a Passat CC 2009, it will work even if it's not a WV parts but a FEBI BILSTEIN?
    No message on dashboard will appear as it's not WV?
    Thanks!

    • @jeffschaap
      @jeffschaap Před 4 měsíci

      P0128. There may be no symptoms at all. With a bad sensor the car can run perfectly but this code will be thrown because the sensor isn't reporting anything or the wrong thing.

    • @screwsnutsandbolts
      @screwsnutsandbolts  Před 3 měsíci

      You can do it without draining it as long as you swap the old and new sensors quick enough to minimize coolant loss. Make sure you recover the old o-ring too
