You're welcome !
Hello! If an amount of coolant will be lost during the process,so I will have to top it up,do I need to overhaul the coolant system then?Thank you!
If it's only a very small amount it should be ok but if you lose a significant amount you can just top it up. If you need to do that, pour the coolant in slowly and squeeze the rubber hoses to release any air bubbles that may have got trapped in them.
Are there 2 o rings inside the housing even the lower one ?
There's usually only one O-ring
hi, i changed The sensor by myself and leaked a bit of coolant on the back of the engine, i have to worry about it?
No it shouldn't cause any problems
is this the same location for a mk5 gti 2.0?
I'm not sure, sorry
does the 2005 mark 5 1.4 16v got 2 tempature sensors?
I think it only has one. The GTi has two as far as I know
Buonasera posso chiederti che guasto ti dava sulla dashboard?
Grazie
I wasn't actually having any fault. It was only for demonstration. These are some of the problems you may experience if it fails:
Engine Overheating.
Illuminated Check Engine Light.
Black Smoke from Exhaust.
Difficulty Starting the Car.
Fluctuating Temperature Gauge.
Rough Idling.
Radiator Fan Problems
Hi! If it's put a FEBI BILSTEIN sensor on a Passat CC 2009, it will work even if it's not a WV parts but a FEBI BILSTEIN?
No message on dashboard will appear as it's not WV?
Thanks!
Audi A3 VW Beetle Coolant Temperature Switch OEM 06A 919 501 A
Febi Bilstein parts should be fine
Does it matter if i get a sensor with 2 pins or pins, seem to be different ones?
You'll need to get one that matches the wiring plug in your car
@screwsnutsandbolts I just ordered one from the part number in your vid, its a 2 pin I have the same engine so should be ok, maybe the 4 pin is for 1.4tsi
what were the symptoms and codes for it? i mean why u changed it?
I had no symptoms, I did this for demonstration purposes
P0128. There may be no symptoms at all. With a bad sensor the car can run perfectly but this code will be thrown because the sensor isn't reporting anything or the wrong thing.
Is that 2.0 tdi ?
No this is the 1.4 petrol
c'est quoi la petite sonde verte qu'il y a à gauche ?
That's the oil pressure sensor
@@screwsnutsandbolts le capteur de pression d'huile ne se trouve pas plutôt au niveau du filtre à huile ou un peu plus bas parce que là je pense qu'il est un peu haut non ??
The part number is: 036919081D

@@screwsnutsandbolts merci.
Is it necessary to drain the coolant ??
You can do it without draining it as long as you swap the old and new sensors quick enough to minimize coolant loss. Make sure you recover the old o-ring too
Does it usually leak?
No it shouldn't leak. Make sure the rubber O-ring is in place
@@screwsnutsandbolts i can turn the coolant sensor right around. Its so loose. Ive changed the pipes and it seems to be leaking water by the coolant sensor could it be the o ring inside it?
Yes it sounds like the O-ring could be leaking or not in the correct position
Poz drug imam isti problem, jel ti gubio snagu i dizao temperaturu ? i meni puko crevo kao i tebi..
