Loved the video. How many rods did Nancy take this time? You always made fun of that before. Has Nancy fished the Parr Reservoir? Have either of you been on the Broad River by the Alston Trailhead? It is my favorite river spot. I always paddle upstream on the far left fork which is deeper and has slow moving water. Once I get tired, I drift back fishing. There isn't a ramp there so not a good spot for the Scooty boats. Tomorrow and Thursday are going to be great days to be out. Hope you and Nancy keep having fun!
I've been on that trail walking. Where is the kayak put in? Nancy only brought 7 rods. I can hardly make fun of her now. :) We have fished Parr. I like it there. I have a couple of videos from Parr. I'm interested in the broad river one though. Tell me more.
I've never been bothered. I never bring my small dog though. Not to places where I know there are gators. I think they could get aggressive if they smelled him. I don't thing they bother you unless it's breeding season or if they have babies.

The kayak put in is under the bridge as you are going to the parking. It is not much of a put in for anything but kayaks.
When you have seen gators do they bother you? Do you take anything for protection?
