Tell Nancy to get a swinging football jig head 3/8 with 3/0 or 4/0 hook size and an adrenaline craw and rig it weedless.. super easy to rig. Drag it around when it’s warmer. She will not regret it! 😊
Hi John. I have two 12 Volt 50Ah Deep Cycle Lithium Batteries for the creek boats. The batteries do not last as long at those large marine batteries but they are so much lighter. I ran it pretty hard this day and used about 75%. Nancy used about 30%. It really depends on how hard you run it.
@@donnabonfrancesco6222 Thanks, Donna. When you say you used about 75%, was that for one or both of the 54 amp hour batteries? I have a 54 amp hour Dakota and am thinking about buying another 54 to take as a backup. I'm 78 and usually don't stay out more than 4 or 5 hours, but am often running against tide and wind. ILast fall, I came across a killer deal on a one year old NuCanoe Frontier 12 and am rigging that for foot-control with a 55 Minn Kota Riptide. It's a little longer and wider than my M11 Creek Boat, and is self-bailing, which I like. Would love to share a day on the water with you and Nancy sometime.
I love the Caiman boats. However, those creek boats are super light making it easy to transport and get in many different kinds of waterways. My pop has a 2 man boat but he's a big guy. I have the 1 and 1/2 man boat without the live well so I have lots of room. If you have the opportunity to test drive a couple that would be great.
@@donnabonfrancesco6222 I'm a big guy too. I will check on Caiman boats. They look like a different class from the plastic creek boats and I'm sure they are. I'm about 2 hrs from where they make them. Maybe they'll let me drive over for a visit.
@@wadehampton1737 Florence. I stopped in there a couple years ago. Man. Those boats are nice. The couple who own the shop are super nice people. One day I will have a Caiman. You're right... they're fiberglass.
Great information Donna

Oooooh. I sure will!!!
Congrats to Nancy on her catch! What size and type battery are you using on your Creek Boat and how long can you run with it?

@@johndavis5662 That was one battery. When Nancy is not with me I have a backup battery with me. I suggest having one. Your boat sounds cool!
Hi! From what you've seen, which one of these electric driven creek boats, are your favorites? I'm interested in single and/or two seaters?
