It worked on my Honda Shadow. Now I’m looking for Hot Cleaning Lady in a Bottle.

I have a 1989 Chevrolet 2500 Cheyanne. It has some miles on it. I use it as a work around the yard truck, plowing in the winter, hauling crap in the summer. It has always run rough, tough starting, have to pump the accelerator several times to get it to fire etc. Last winter it began stalling out while I was plowing, kept getting worse. So, for the heck of it I bought a bottle of this stuff, I figured what is the worst thing that could happen? I had a full tank of fuel so I dumped an entire bottle in, started the truck and within 10 minutes it was running smoothly. I can now start it just by turning the key quickly, no pumping. It does not run rough or stall. I am amazed at how well this stuff works. I went out and bought another bottle and started using it in all my other equipment.

MIB works great. I add a little to each tank of my lawn mowers and they all run like a charm, year in and year out. No surging either.

My weed trimmer acted up after setting up a long time. Wouldn't stay running and would surge a lot, maybe a sticky check ball or something. It just wasn't going to straighten out. Didn't want to take the carb off so I just poured a tiny amount of MIAB in the gas tank and after about 3 minutes it stayed running and the surge was gone. Might have been a coincidence but I don't think so.

I've tried MIB and have had good luck with it, it's not magic it won't fix everything if it needs rebuilding, but for the carbs I had to rebuild when I disassembled them they were perfectly clean. I have added some to my lawn mower fuel as a preventative and my wife asked what I did cause she noticed a difference, go figure! I'll keep using it.

Your wife not only mows the yard but can also detect a better running lawn mower engine? You have a duty, sir, to inform the world of any sisters she may have.

I used it in a pressure washer that didn’t want to start. I drained all the liquid and used the mechanic in a bottle. It still didn’t work after following the instructions on a not running engine. Frustrated I put it away for 2 weeks and today it came to life in one pull. Really surprised after a frustrating month of trying to get it started. Not sure if mechanic in a bottle worked but that engine did not want to start.

I was about to trailer my Suzuki AN400 Bergman scooter to the shop. Hasn't run in 3 years, no attempt to even start it. (Dead battery). Had the bike on my trailer.
Decided to try this product. Called the manufacturer in South Carolina and they said it should work as long as I pumped the old gas out first.
Harbor Fright $7 buck hand pump purchased and 2 8oz bottles of this stuff. Gonna see what happens after cranking enough to get juice into injectors and let it sit a couple days. Factory rep said it can sit in there for weeks with no problems.
Might crank it a short bit every 12 hours to get fresh juice in the injection system.
I had already bought a used fuel tank, fuel filter and pump. Might not need it.
This old Boomer is crossing his gnarly knuckles.!!

@@1bigimpact well...let it sit and cranked it daily for 3-4 days. Dumped in some non ethanol gas, cranked away but never tried to fire up. Just steady cranking.
I thought maybe the plug, but maybe fuel pump is the culprit. Need to do more fiddling.

taking a chance with MIAB, my mower fires and dies when I primer it... So I know it's fuel related... hoping it works out for me tomorow

Well, My Harley Davidson has been sitting for some time. I figure the fuel in the tank will be bad. I'm going to drain the tank then refill it with Real Gas ( No Ethanol ). I still have a place near me that sells Ethanol Free Gasoline. Costs a bit more, but I feel it's the right way to go. Then going to pull both spark plugs and roll the engine over to circulate the oil well and lubricate the motor. Having the plugs out will allow the injectors to push fuel ( The Bad ) and clear the fuel out in the lines, I'll leave the bike sit with the plugs out for an hour or two to let the trashed fuel evaporate and hopefully that will clean the injectors. Thanks for your honest review. I'll come back in a few weeks and let you know how it turned out for me.

@@1bigimpact Well, Today was the day ! I siphoned all the fuel out of my 2009 Harley Davidson Dyna Fat Bob today. Pulled the plugs so I could put the bike in gear to gently roll the motor over without using the starter ( Wanted to make sure the rings hadn't gotten stuck ). I filled my bike up with 4 gallons of ethanol free, high octane fuel with 4 ounces of the mechanic in a bottle. I put the new battery in the bike and put the plugs back in. Hit the starter and it fired right up. Ran a bit rough for about 5 minutes and cleared right up ! The bike hadn't been touched in 2 years.... sitting in a garage. Thank you for the heads up on Mechanic in a bottle ! Have a weekend of riding planned.
