Yuriko's side quests broke me, the final one with her saying she heard her mother calling for her in the field. Then calling Jin by his father's name Kasumasa with Jin going along with it as it leads to her death.
My personal favorites were hers, then Mazako's, and then Ishikawa's. I found Kenji and Yuna's to be a touch forgettable, and Norio's was solid.
Abbas Akbar I loved that Norio’s quest line is one of the only ones that don’t end in a climactic battle, you and him get geared up to raid the camp, and you as a player are ready to do your thing.
But then you wake up, and you find Norio has just fucking burned everyone wicker man style so there’s no one left to kill and the quest just ends. Really cool subversion of the mechanics.
@@anemoiaprison For sure. It goes back to how he said he would never lift his blade out of hate earlier in the questline, only for him to go back on his buddhist ideals to wipe everyone out and exact his revenge.
When she wandered off chasing her mother's spirit, I knew she was going to die soon. Plenty of stories of people having similar experiences right before the die. Stroke victims also experience similar phenomena.
Me too. My mom died of early on set Alzheimer’s and suffered for 10 years doing these exact things to me.
When the horse died I literally yelled aloud, "You lied to me!" because at the beginning they say the horse will be with you for the whole journey.
Me too, I was so confused when he died
Well, you did have a horse with you for the whole journey. It just wasn't the same horse.
So… I’m hella late but I always took it as he WAS with us the whole journey. As in the journey of Jin becoming the ghost, seeing as that was right after he openly embraced being the ghost after directly disobeying his uncle. And my Kage still was able to get me to safety before he passed 😭
@@tonytan5945 The game says it'll be that specific horse.
It actually stays: in our hearts. Rest in peace Kage. And fuck the next horse.
Nobody talks about Kenji the Sake Seller. Most underrated character with the most turn around in his character arc in the whole game. Starts as a crook basically conning his way through life and using EVERYONE, but at the end with Jin's good influences he turns into a man who cares about more than just himself.
And he always brings the Sake gourd at the end of his missions.
Everyone asks "Who is Kenji?" But no one asks "How is Kenji,"
I always believed the wind was like his dad guiding his destiny tbh
Same!
Lord shimura says that when you get the Sakai sword. “Your father is the wind at your back” or something like that.
Yeah, your dad is the wind and your mom is the birds. Yuriko said that.
Im not against that there's definitely a supernatural element
Isn't it his mother?
The way Nate talks about the game feels like he doesn't know he made a masterpiece lol
Nobu death.... its the animation in the horse eye when it looks up at you before he passed away 😥😥
"The uncle". His name is Lord Shimura.
Ikr total cringe how hard is it to pronounce "Uncle Shimura"
Facts
I spared Jin's uncle. To me it made more sense to the development of Jin's character. To him his love for his uncle and family is stronger than his ties to the Samurai and enough blood had been spilt by then. For me that bit was the true moment of Jin fully embracing the ghost.
I never really saw Jin killing his uncle as him holding on to his ties to the Samurai. If anything, it would be love for his uncle that would motivate him to grant this request. This is the end Shimura wanted for himself and that would be the only reason that Jin would go through with it. He's killing him because he loves him and wants to respect his final wish.
@@DevilHunter1994 I think people also fail to realize what it would mean for Jin to just walk away. He's essentially sentencing his only living relative to a life of misery, where he is constantly reminded that his own nephew (whom he loved like a son) is an outlaw and is being hunted like a notorious criminal. Shimura would also likely be the one they call on to perform the execution if he's ever caught.
I never felt like Jin was resentful of the samurai or that he hated the tradition, he just felt like it wasn't sufficient for protecting Tsushima. He seemed like he would have gladly gone back to living in his estate and reconciling with his uncle once the invasion was dealt with. So the Ghost ending kinda just felt like a slap in the face if you look at it that way.
But tbh, I think there's a solid case for either ending. Really great job by Suckerpunch.
It might make more sense as an American or someone who isn’t well versed in Japanese culture. That being said, I’m reality and especially in a Kurosawa movie, if Jin doesn’t kill him then his uncle would end up taking his own life or the shogun would demand his head anyway.
@@JBurnz001 Nope, the whole "code of honor" with samurai was incredibly overplayed in films and media in Japan. In reality Samurai were more enforcers of a law, they would use stealth tactics and the whole "Samurai stand-off" only occurred if there was no other way to infiltrate the enemy camp or Castle.
As for Jin's uncle, the Shogun would have not ordered his death and he would have to redeem himself in the eyes of the military. Sepaku was really only done when a samurai went against the orders of the Shogun. It never happened if they failed their mission.
LJC1990 I know that BUT if your going for Kurosawa feel then that’s what you go for head first. You don’t just stick one foot in while keeping one out. That’s a recipe for disaster.
Finished it last night and currently working on the platinum! Love the game and am very excited to watch this :)
Just finished it! The ending absolutely crushed me and had me adoring this game.
GOTY !!!!!
Easiest Platinum, ever! You only need to play the game and check a guide for, like, 3 or 4 trophies.
Sensei's and Tomoes tale was absolutely great!
Loved the moment when all three got to team up to save the village, and sensing a moment of pride from Sensei as he sees his previous student working together with his current one.
I think what touched me the most is the ending of the Warrior Monk tale, heartbreaking stuff.
I named my grey horse Nobu (rip) and my second Sora, as dark as the night sky.
I loved these sidequests but also Yuna's. I was sad it was really short. And I was surprised how Jin started being like: "their suffering doesn't have to matter" to "you deserved worse" when he killed the three brothers.
So annoying no one backed Greg up with Tomoe leaving for Kyoto.
I know this was a year ago, but I just beat the game today. I also definitely think this series will go to Kyoto.
@@maddoggnick96 I could see that. An island setting works great for a video game, giving natural bounding box for the world, but I would love another Ghost game in Japanese setting, rather than taking it to another island somewhere. Kansai or Edo would be obviously great settings.
Yeah I had the exact experience the game wanted me to have. I started as an honor code samurai, I did very little stealth, I did standoffs and duels almost exclusively. Then, gradually, I started using more stealth, to the point in the end of the second act where I was ready to embrace the ghost. Loved the game so much!
Nice. I wanted to enjoy the stealth more but I dropped it pretty quickly. It couldn't live up to my high standards of stealth, but the combat certainly did so I just went with that most of the time.
@@jasonred7402 Which good stealth games would recommend??... Like i really loved the stealth in later parts of TLOU2...that tension filled atmosphere with constantly rotating around the environment and crafting and looting and sneaking that sort of shit...
@@jashshah1033 have you played dishonored 2
@@John-996 nah its on ny list though.. Do i gotta play dishonoured 1 before though?? Cause it looks pretty dated now
@@jashshah1033 Hey, I know its a year old comment but to answer the question unless you’ve already figured it out, you can play Dishonored 2 without playing the first, however I highly reccomend you to play the first game before you do, it makes you apprechiate it so much more!

Interesting discussion on the ending. I (like Greg) personally chose to kill Shimura out of respect for his commitment to the Samurai code. For Jin to make the decision to defeat his uncle and LEAVE him to survive is not what Shimura would want, despite it being what we as the player want as he is our last remaining family. After everything, the least we can do is defeat him honorably and give him a warriors death. It was a more selfless decision, while sparing him is a more selfish decision. He seems to finally forgive, reconcile and calls Jin his son when you kill him. Also - don't ignore that doing the honorable thing grants you the white ghost armor, while dishonoring your uncle by sparing him grants you the red armor.
Bro what! … i never realised that
By killing your uncle it is implied that Sakai will have some peace now that his uncle is dead, basically no one will hunt him since now Tsushima would have no ruler to follow the shogun's orders and he will not have to be tied to the ghost. While forgiving him means that his uncle will be forced to hunt him forever, and he will have to live with the weight of being the “ghost” forever. This is reinforced in how in the ending where you forgive him, his uncle tells him “You know that the ghost will be haunted for the rest of his days” to which he responds with “I know” and puts on his mask, symbolizing that he accepts to live as the ghost forever, plus he ends up living in a semi-destroyed hidden house, implying that now as a ghost he will never have peace. While in the ending where you kill your uncle, Sakai lives in a much better built house, implying that he can now live relatively in peace without having to carry the weight of the “ghost.” By the way in japonese culture white means death, while read apparently means “self sacrife”
I love Nate Fox! The Sly Trilogy are some of the best games I have ever played, even now almost 20 years later.
Facts Long live Sucker Punch❤️
It’s cool how at the end of the game Jin gets a ghost cave!
I am ghostman
54:58 I love this tid bit, because if one is surrounded by enemies, the objective is to always go circling around, you can't focus too much time on just one or the other in your back will get you, so you have to stay in offense and attack one after the other, and a lock-on camera would definitely miss this point. And by the time you have most weapons developed, you can attack multiple enemies in succession really quick and again, a lock-on would get in the way
The scene when Ryozo burns the people is one of the best in the game. Also the Jin's nanny's story was very sad and beautiful.
Tears started to fall when Yuriko said: "are you listening Kazumasa?" and Jin responded: "yes".
Just got the platinum today, fucking amazing game Sucker Punch
GOTY for me is a tight race between Ghost and Persona 5 Royal now
Not sure if Persona 5 Royal should count as a 2020 game or not, but yea, for me GOTY is between Ghost of Tsushima and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
mine is either ghost of tsushima or tlou 2
@@chaseclark238 it should count, Royal is an amazing game in its own right
Clarkey7163 but a majority of that game was already released. It’s more like a Game of the Year edition than a new release. I just don’t think it should be considered a GOTY for this year.
Clarkey7163 not denying it’s a great game at all, just don’t think of it as a 2020 game
Interesting points on killing uncle. I killed uncle because Jin knew what it was to be samurai. If his uncle lives, his life is over. He goes back to the shogun a failure and he could be told to commit seppuku, or he’d be forced to hunt Jin down and he doesn’t want to do that either. So a warrior’s death was the only “win” I saw for uncle.
I often found that any mission with Shimura or Norio present I tried my hardest to play “honourably” as the Samurai. Not that I necessarily thought it would explicitly affect outcomes, but I suppose that’s a testament to story through gameplay and the effectiveness of the duality within the story/Jins inner conflict
I love this damn game and great spoilercast. Really cool to hear Nate talk about the inspiration behind "Sakai" and "The Storm" from the actual invasion.
Holy cow you really do become Samurai Batman. Honestly the transformation throughout the game, the freedom to decide how quickly you want to transform into the ghost or resist in the gameplay, and the ultimately full embrace the ghost persona at the end or redeem yourself as samurai in your Uncle’s eyes is an amazing experience.
These conversations with developers of the games I’m playing, and loving, is some of my favorite content anywhere.
Kinda funny bringing the heat with these spoilercasts this summer. Can’t wait to watch this when I’ve finished the game. GoT has been phenomenal so far.
I finally beat Ghost of Tsushima today. I loved the game. I was surprised how choked up I got at the final duel.
What I really loved about this game was the idea of honor vs dishonor. I felt that really enhanced the struggle between Jin and his Uncle. I felt the weight of their final fight and I really didn't want to have it. I teared up because I knew how much they meant to each other, but they had chosen different paths. I killed the Uncle in the end because I cared for him so much, and I knew he was very honorable and wanted to die that way.
Awesome, literally just finished the game and came here to see if this was up and it just got posted. XD
Optional: Check in with your allies - Love that!
I can never find them all!
Bloodmime follow the guiding wind!
@@seek-a-critique9908 i thought that would just take me to the person who I had to talk to, which progressed instead of doing the optional conversations
Bloodmime Ah you could be right but swiping the touchpad also brought up on-screen icons for Ally NPC’s.
When I figured out the stances where symbolic, it made it so much easier there on after. Shield = Circle Spear = Triangle Sword = Cross (X) and Brute was left to be = Square. This game is my 3rd best experience on PS4 behind God of War and Horizon: ZD. Well done Sucker punch and looking forward to Jin fighting the Mongols on the mainland perhaps, on PS5
So great to hear Nate’s thoughts on the early concept and game design choices. Also appreciated his own questions about how different systems or character landed with you all. Would have liked even more discussion of gameplay choices/systems (mythic abilities etc) great job KF!
SPOILER BELOW:
I killed Uncle Shimura because reflecting on that whole final Tale he seemed to be readying Jin and the island for the new era beyond Samurai and Shogun. When the peasant tells them he is heading to the Ghosts’ army, Uncle Shimura tells him good luck, wishes him well, and warns him to look out for Mongols. Clearly Uncle knew that the future of Tsushima needed the Ghost, despite his honor code. He knew Jin would beat him in battle.
I loved Shimura, so I made the decision to kill him honorably and respect his wishes as a Samurai, despite Jin moving past that and assuming the role as the Ghost. It is interesting, as reading the subreddit has led me to realize it is not just a binary decision. Some people kill him out of respect and love, others killed him out of moving forward or even resenting him. Some spared him to not give him the honor or satisfaction in a warriors death out of spite, while others spared him because they loved him/he was Jin's last family.
@@abbasakbar6597 yeah a lot of people on the subreddit said they spared him because it reflected that Jin had moved beyond the need to follow the code. I killed him as he wished for it, but also because I knew it'd make for a more epic/dramatic scene lmao.
@@abbasakbar6597 And here I am, with the game paused, looking at different perspectives in the comment section. I didn't see this coming. Never thought I'd be this invested with the story that I am now seriously thinking of what to do. I usually just decide which ending has better rewards but now I am conflicted.
@@upsidedownmachiatto2670 I'm a touch biased but I think the white armor from honoring his wish is a bit cooler than the red armor from sparing him :)
@@abbasakbar6597 I like the white one too. Compared to the red. But overall I'll stick to the default color. White makes me feel like a power ranger. As in the original Mighty Morphin' ninja quest. Though I'm thinking for a sequel maybe Jin will start the Shinobi that will work side by side with the samurai just like Tenchu. Man I miss that game. I mean it's in their tag line "Live by honor. Kill by stealth."
1:20:23 Nate looks so happy when he said he got chills from the Ryuzo duel
56:39 - Greg it was Tomoe posing as Matsu in the Trapper Inn that said she wanted to go to the Mainland. She also leaves eventually after the Umugi Cove mission in Ishikawa's Tale.
Norio the Phantom of Tsushima is my favorite character.
Love the way when jin remove blood from his sword after a battle scene with some of samouraï shodown pre fight song :O
Thank you guys so much for this awesome spoilercast! So happy to hear Nate talk about his view on the game, his ideas and the pulling back of GoT's curtains. I've always dreamt about a grounded samurai game and Sucker Punch DELIVERED.
I can't explain how much I love this game. It's been my favorite since the launch. Thank you Sucker Punch
Excuse me where was the british ad read? I have been betrayed harder than any character in the entire game
Ikr 😂
It seems odd that they are reading an ad encouraging people to break user agreements with various websites and streaming services too. Not that I am against it, but it seems like an odd thing for a content creator on the up and up to do. At one time they were sponsored by Crunchyroll, and Crunchyroll will ban accounts which use VPNs. Imagine advertising for Crunchyroll in one video, and advertising a service encouraging you to break their terms of service in another.
I wasn't ready for how good the last part of this game especially was. Sucker Punch has done an amazing job.
Just finished the game and got the platinum. So now i can watch finally watch any spoilercast about this game. It's always nice to have the game devs be a part of this. Thanks.
1:53:12 my question from ps I love you xoxo was brought up and was asked to Nate fox. I’m actually geeking out about that. I wish they talked about who’s idea it was to put the sly outfit in the game and the trophy.
I killed Jin’s uncle in the end, I felt like that was the best way to honor him and to show that even though Jin became the Ghost in the end his roots are still in the samurai honor and traditions, it definitely gave me the feels, this was such an awesome game, great job SP 👍
Just finished and made the same choice. Jin final words to his Uncle had me😭😭. It is what i thought Jin would have done for his uncle.
I did the same. Not sure about the English, but in the Japanese they have a beautiful exchange that recognizes their love as father and son. So beautiful.
I embraced ghost from the second we could do stealth. But I personally love stealth games. So all my skill points went straight into ghost stuff from the start. The only stance I played the game on was stone counter enemies and killing them with bow/assassinations. I hated Jin's uncle, pushing the way of the samurai when jin was trying to save the whole island. So out of spite of the uncle, I let him live. To dishonor what he would of wanted. People who talk about the stealth complain its too simple but personally it was so much fun with just the right amount of tricks.
I also challenged myself to stealth kills through mongol camps faster and faster. In order to make it more fluent. I do it the same way in AC Odyssey :)
I didn't hate Shimura but I knew he would turn on me. At the end I ended up thinking for a long time about killing or sparing him. In the end I spared him because Jin says he has no honour, even says Shimura's a slave to it. And I know he wouldn't be a slave to it right after by killing his last relative for some samurai honour code.
finally finished and Platinumed this gem, today!!! What an awesome experience.
I would LOVE an Infamous First Light style stand-alone game where we play as Yuna!!
The ending where you spare Shimura reminded me of Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight ending which made Jin come off Batman like
where you spare him?
@@akebjornblad9478 after the fight they let you choose
I felt like they were trying really hard to build a batman vibe but it just fell flat for me. Jin was kind of a boring protagonist in my opinion.
Man I love playing this game. So beautiful. Also Greg you ain't the only one, my Uncle is done-zo 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
RIP - Greg
Just finished the game and couldn't wait for this.
1:29:10 put me in tears 😂 “im not the ghost of tsushima”
Greg’s horse comments reminded me that he hadn’t played Red Dead 2.
OMG yes! Ghost was great but damn Red Dead 2 did it much better. I had taken over care of Buell which was the veteran's horse. Such a great side story that hit hard closer to the end of the game when Arthur is nearing the end of his journey. When Arthur says good bye to the horse its like he was saying goodbye to the Veteran as if saying thank you for giving him a taste of some normal life.
missdiablo666 Thats incredible. Your own personal story.
Yup, it was done 100% better in RDR2 but of course Greg will say "bUt HE's A bAd GuY"
@@Crashme222 I thought it was crap in RDR2. Sure, you still pick your horse but chances are you're not still with your first horse at that point, and so, at least for me, I couldn't care less when that horse died. Kage's death broke me.
One thing I really liked about the game was the 'Conversations with the Khan', the records you collect make you understand the Khan in even greater detail. Maybe I'm the only one but I was so interested in collecting records just to see learn more about him
I knew the moment i named my horse kage he was gonna die and it still gave me the feels anyway
Greg, I killed him too!! 😂
Same. I killed him because I wasn't all that invested in the story and thought it would be the more radical choice.
Loved the game though. The cinematography before the fight against the Mongolian leader was awesome.
Genius ad break! Using the classic dog fishing technique.
I would recommend everyone to watch the Directors commentary after you beat the game, it is fascinating.
Just finished and platinumd. Now to watch what Kinda Funny has to say!
Yes! It was Tomoe who wanted to go to the mainland and start an inn in Kyoto, and said something about her servants would steal from customers, something along those lines? I immediately thought of a sequel as Tomoe when I played that sidequest. That was Sensei Ishikawa's sidequestline, FYI.
A sequel where you play as Tomoe? Lol uh oook 😆
@@arturius9715 Why not? She is a highly skilled archer trained by a samurai, who goes to the mainland. She could run in to who-knows-what and a story could unfold.
Not saying it's gonna happen (it probably won't) but it could be a feasible story sequel.
@@Ryan-dp4rs A sequel with Jin would be far more compelling...have one as Tomoe wouldnt make much sense...it would kind of be the same as that Uncharted four spinoff that no one cared about..where you play as chloe...except Chloe was far more prevalent than Tomoe
i liked tomoe. i would like that sequel
Beat the game earlier tonight, just got the platinum. Fantastic game.
Just got the platinum and I could not have been more impressed! Sucker Punch killed it AGAIN. Bravo 🎉
This video came out like a week after the release of the game. Just passed the game now. Now I’m here for the spoiler cast.
28:40
Sparing Shimura is canon.
Great video guys. This is easily one of my favourite games of all times. Im obsessed
Tomoe wanted to go to the mainland, open an inn and rob her guests blind. Best side quest in the game
Great spoilercast! Just platinum the game! so gooddd! Almost wished the KF crew asked about the armors. What the Inspirations were, what the favourite armor was, how we were tied to the traveller armor and if they considered having Ubisoft towers! But beyond that, great spoilercast and great game, easily GOTY for me
Nate Fox is a genuine dude. Ghost is my GOTY for 2020, And lethal mode was an excellent addition.
I absolutely, categorically, wholly, and unequivocally LOVE this game.
What a great discussion
Thank god they finally mentioned Yuriko! My favourite character. :-)
The amount of gear you unlock and the dyes plus katana is great and I always swapped my loadout delending if I was exploring/ samurai/Ghost or an archer.
Same..I actually went in a house or walked up to my horse to change 😃
I chose to kill Lord Shimura at the end, as for me Jin's journey went full circle. He only became the Ghost through necessity to defeat the Mongols. You hear that talked about a lot especially when he begins to use the poison. Whilst Jin's path moved away from the Honour of the Samurai his childhood flashbacks of him and his Uncle made me think that now the Khan was defeated he would retire the Ghost and become the Samurai his Uncle wanted him to be.
I disagree
@@nobleskywalker4639 Nice arguments.
I completely disagree. Shimura had many of his own people killed while fighting the Mongols. He was so stuck on the "obey your Lord no matter what" part of Bushido, and it was going to cost them greatly. Jin may have broken Bushido by fighting cowardly, but he chose to save his people, a different part of Bushido, which a Samurai in this period was all about. I strongly believe sparing Shimura is the canon ending
@Wade Wilson You don't even have to believe it, the director says Jin would spare Shimura!
Just beat and platinumed Ghost last night. Game was freaking incredible. FF7R is still probably my personal GOTY but Ghost is a close second. The gameplay was fantastic and liked what they did with the characters and story. Also liked Jin’s development throughout the game realizing that the Samurai way of doing things doesn’t work, slowly becoming more emotional throughout the game. Also RIP Sora and Taka.
Excited to see what SP does with the sequel during the second invasion. Wondering if we’ll still play as Jin or someone being taught or inspired by him in Hakata where the second invasion is mostly.
"I will insult him to his face for you" Hahahahaha made me laugh out loud, I love him so much! Also what a fantatsic game! So proud to say finally got the plat and beat all of legends too!
Great show guys
Great spoilercast!
Don't know how much Nate was involved in those processes, but I wish you would have gotten around to talk a little about the acting and the soundtrack
The horse dying had the same effect on me as agro dying in SoC. :-(
My favorite moment is when Nate is like "dude, we just finished a game, how dare you ask for more, pleeb?" and then the next question is like "So...DLC?"
Just got round to getting the platinum last night, I picked a grey horse called Nobu, then black called Kage and I spared Lord Shimura 🤙
GOTY of Tsushima
I wish they would have given a statistics menu. I have no clue how much time I spent playing that game but I’m curious as all hell.
"Diegetic" - what a great word.
I just finished this is definitely my game of the year
3:46 EXACTLY! THANK YOU!!
They killed my dear Kage.
I ignored front 2 and picked the thin brown horse that helped me after nobu died. Shadow looks like its not been fed for 2 years and been dragged through hell
just beat the game today such a great game
Plat last night, great game really enjoyed this one 👏
also given that the Director's Cut has armor loadouts, that means Kinda Funny was responsible for giving Nate Fox the idea
Game of the year. I like the story and side characters missions throughout. Had a great time playing it. Where as TLOU2 I had more issues with bugs, didn’t like the story and more importantly I didn’t have fun playing the game. Let’s see what CyperPunk 2077 throws at us. I love how kindafunny has developers and cast on for spoilercast. Greater understanding of what the process and meaning of creating game meant to them.
Bugs in tlou2 lol
Might be unpopular but i really like Tomoe, the first time she popped up I knew exactly she's Tomoe but after getting to know her I understood she's just doing what she thought was right. I'm glad she didn't die and would be cool to see a DLC with her and possibly with Yuna.
It takes a special something to go through a long and memorable questline with a character, hearing their name pronounced Tomoe and then still call them Tomo.
Guess I shouldn't expect more from Mr. OY GUVNAH
Don't you worry Greg. I did it too!
Hey, got the sick white armor though
I knew the Straw Hats would betray you because as soon as you finish the mission to rescue some of them from the mongols, and Ryuzo said the Mongols were treating them well. Then I overhead a conversation between a couple of them saying something about killing Jin Sakai....which was weird, because I was standing right next to them when they said it.
Incredible game! Sometimes felt like It was about to shift into Tenchu. Such a great experience Jin is awesome.
lol! "broken down charlie brown X-mas tree horse" !
RIP Kage, my loyal black stallion,
Hello Kaze, my loyal snow white stallion
Tsushima's peripheral horse drama was so perfect. Like everything else in the game.
I platinumed this game and I'm currently doing a second run on Kurosawa mode in lethal difficulty.
Hot damn, a free co-op DLC with new enemies, game modes and legends. Can't wait to jump back into Ghost of Tsushima
I definitely got Neverending Story/Shadow of the Colossus vibes from that one scene.
I also thought the wind was Jins father guiding him.
I really hope the next game is a full-on Ninja game, Jin sort of birth the Ninja style or something. Would be cool. I dont know of Ninjas came before Samurais tho
I did exactly what Greg did, for exactly that reason. The ultimate way to honor your uncle, your father.
Nobu was a a good horse. My second horse was Kaze.
I spared the uncle, 1 because I don't think Jin would kill him, 2 because killing him would do no good, Jin would still be an outlaw, and at least Shimura now has to live with his decision to turn on Jin.
