I just played Kate for our blind play of hemlock vale (no spoilers) and she feels pretty crazy I played a skill-focused deck with only magnifying glasses, empirical hypothesis and the myconid for my tool/science assets to proc her ability, and I was completely invulnerable to the mythos deck. Very fun time and would strongly recommend!

When Kate bounces Magnifying Glass to hand, how does she put the clue from it onto her? Or does he mean drop the clue at location and re-investigate it... which doesn't feel optimal.
