New-ish player and I'm doing a blind run through forgotten age with her. Talking to snakes is OP
Alesssandra has quickly catapulted herself into my top 4 favorite investigators. I wasn't sure I'd even like her when I began but I find her playstyle to be incredibly fun.
How did you play her? Flex? Cluer?
@@KrishnaRoskin I'm playing her as cluever. I'll note that I basically threw every card that said "parley" into the deck. I wasn't trying to optimize her, just see what she's like as a baseline. And she's pretty good. But she's really, really fun.
But I do struggle quite a bit when I don't find my Fine Clothes. Alessandra's stats are not mind-blowing, so I find that she needs the -2 difficulty from Fine Clothes.
@@tcr7Is it crazy to put Backpack in order to search for Fine Clothes? And play them as the last card to replace the empty Backpack?
@@davidko9289 Backpack works, as does Friends in Low Places. Friends is probably a little better. And no, I don't think it's crazy at all.
@@davidko9289 That's not a bad idea to do a one-off Backpack. You can use it to search for False Credentials, Fox mask, Fine clothes and Lockpicks if you have it included.

I want a stall for time art that is the scene from young Frankenstein
I just completed a run of The Feast with this character solo, a few scenarios (Mainly the longest night) were too much for me but overall she is really strong. Grift, Stir the Pot, and her signature cards were very strong, and let you interact with the enemies in a different way than when you normally play solo with an evasive investigator.
Bewitching and Kick the Hornets' nest tho are what really make her pop. Kicking into a weak enemy and gaining resources and clues to then put a Beguile on it and use it as a puppet is RIDICULOUS. I'm afraid it has spoiled me from wanting to play solo with anyone else... except Wendy :P

One day we'll be returning to the notable card videos, but we haven't finalized what form that'll take yet.

Playing her in hemlock vale, she seems very swingy. If the scenario doesnt give you ways to parley, shes feels like Trish or Finn but like 20% worse at level 0: without fine clothes you feel pretty inconsistent, and most parley cards at 0 are still pretty bad. Her card pool is also much worse, not getting level 0 seeker book boosts hurt a lot.
No Fine Clothes?
The deck is built with just the revised core set and The Feast of Hemlock Vale player card set. Unfortunately, Fine Clothes isn't included in that card pool.
