    From my understanding, her starting deck is starved for resources, so even something like Emergency Cache would be a huge help.

      I actually had the opportunity to play the unchanged investigator deck this weekend and you are correct. If I could go back and change it, I'd dump the Streetwises and shave a Cigarette Case and maybe a Leo for 2 Leather Jacket and 2 Emergency Cache.

    Do you draw the card from her ability before pulling a token for the test? And if so, can you add that drawn card to the cards you're already committing for that test?

      It's on the lightning bolt window after you're done committing cards. So before you pull the token but you can't commit anymore cards (even weaknesses that forces you to commit them)

    I’m thinking of playing Wini in an upcoming game, and I am very excited by Sharpshooter, but wondering why it wasn’t discussed in this video. Is it bad??

    • @PlayingBoardGames
      @PlayingBoardGames  Před 2 lety

      Sharpshooter is a cool card, but it fits more into an archetype of deckbuilding as opposed to just a generic notable card. You need to build around it, you can't just stuff it into any Wini deck, which is what we were focusing on for this video.
      I hope that answers your question!

      @@PlayingBoardGames absolutely! Thanks for the reply :)
      It makes sense Sharpshooter might be reserved for a more monster-killer Winnifred build since it’s so costly. I’m hoping to do a “Succeed by X” Sharpshooter Winnifred deck and just vaporize every monster I fight.

      Sounds like a great time. I hope the deck rocks it.

    Wini is definately on my to play list. Speaking of strong allies, would you consider Versatile to grab Justin's Boyfriend? I expect you'd draw your deck fast enough that the extra cards wouldn't have an awful effect on the deck consistancy.

    • @Iamdroopy
      @Iamdroopy Před 3 lety

      Generally adding cards to your deck is a bad thing as it makes getting the things you really need for your deck to work harder. Plus the ally's slot is so competitive for Rogues I can't see adding Versatile just to grab an ally.

      @@Iamdroopy This guy knows. Assuming a full collection, if you wanted the extra foot stat I'd just pick up The Moon and if you're worried about horror soak (7 sanity is pretty comfy though) I'd be more inclined to ask my teammates to play something to help.

    I know this videos been up for almost a year but, i've been trying to use this deck and tweak it a little bit on arkhamDB but the system does not let me have a second leo de luca or a second opportunist card, does anyone know if its because of a current patch or smth?

    • @PlayingBoardGames
      @PlayingBoardGames  Před 3 lety +5

      Somewhere (maybe under profile settings) there is a place for you to add stuff to your collection. You may not have other packs or a second core in your collection, which makes it so you can't include those in your deck.
      That may be your problem. :)

    I have a question about enemy attacks of opprtunity and their timing. Do they attack you at the initialising of your action that causes it?
    The situation I'm thinking is playing Nathaniel and being engaged with an enemy, I have an ally on the table I want to replace and I have a Counterpunch (lvl0)
    So I declare I'm playing my new Ally, the enemy attacks, I put that damage on my existing Ally, I then play Counterpunch and attack it and then my new Ally gets put into play.
    Is that correct?

    • @davidko9289
      @davidko9289 Před 3 lety +2

      AoOs happen before your action starts.
      1. Declare action.
      2. Take attack of opportunity.
      3. You do your action.
      Your sequence works, I think.
