YT Capra Shred - Rock Garden Quickie

- I haven’t posted in a while but I have been riding a lot and having a ton of fun out there with my buddies. Here is a short clip I put together with the GoPro app.
I may not be the fastest but I am trying to represent the over 40 crowd that still likes to hit a rock garden every now and then.
I had to slow down for a trail maintenance worker (thanks for keeping the nice for us!) but the section was still very fun. The Fox 38’s on the Capra Shred eat this kind of section up very well. The Capra Shred is so quiet in a rock garden and I really feel like I can just point the bike and hold my line to get through. While I like the downhill, this bike is doing a great job getting up the hill as well.

I ordered a Capra Shred 29 just over 3 months ago. It should be arriving by the end of the week! Can’t wait for it to arrive! 😁😆

Thanks. Yep - I had never really noticed that until I saw the video. As you can imagine, I try not to look that way. 😬

Yep. I’d like to do another review video because there are a few things I don’t like but overall this bike is great for me.

@@jeff4kingable It doesn't do the dishes and it doesn't fetch him a beer when he asks ;) I would like to know too.
There’s really not that much on my list of dislikes. I’ll try to put some of them into a video but they were a couple of grommets coming loose and the dropper post and lever are definitely not that great. Other than that, the only issue I had was that the brake lines were really long and I needed to cut them down a bit. Functionally, the bike seems to be working out really well.
You mentioned you're about 210, how do you find the 450# shock spring to be for your weight? Thanks!
Works out well. I was contemplating purchasing a 400 lb spring to see how that feels. I may still do that.
Can you make a video about the rear suspension
In the video it looks like your bike frame is blue? Did you wrap it?
No. That is just because I messed with the color settings in the GoPro app.
Nooooo. I ordered this bike and I wanted to hear it. The obnoxious music ruined this video
Ha. That’s one opinion. We use bells on our bikes where I ride so the hikers can hear us coming. If you want to hear obnoxious, wait till you here a video with just the bell clanking around.
