As an Englishman, I’ve been extremely fortunate to travel to India a lot. I can never speak highly enough of the people, their culture and their passion for this amazing sport. I look forward to my next trip! ❤🇮🇳🇬🇧
Welcome🙏
Thank you for your kind words, you are always welcome here!
Thank you mate!
You are warmly welcomed😊
And all of despite the 200 years of humiliation, economic degradation and cultural degradation that Indians faced during the Raj.
Hate the game not the player, that's the motto we adopted.
Sky knows how to present a story. Great coverage of ICC WC.
Shes working only with sky here for world cup .
Yes
That’s what professionals do!!
Not like Star Sports and co who seem to be obsessed with serving the audience sport jingoism
they need to come third tier citues, they will know how cricket play there in any corner where space available.
agreed
That 7 and half years old kid was so focused on his batting that he didnt care who is asking what questions...amazing.
The confidence with which these kids answer the questions put by Kate is amazing. They are not in the least overawed by someone coming and asking questions, and that too a foreign person. If this is the way our next generation is shaping up, then the future of India is surely in very good hands.
Exactly what I noticed! I remember when I was in school one fine day some external dignitaries visited my classroom and started asking few general questions to the class, I was so overawed by the moment that couldn't stand up and answer any of the question even though I was one of the brighter student in that lot. But these kids are really cool with everything it seems.
@@BhanuPrakash-wt7zlthese are south bombay kids.. go to a school in Satara or Nanded, you'd find the awe..
Cricket goes to BCCI and team 🙏🙏
Bud this is Mumbai. Thousands of foreigners live in the city.
@@hmmmokay4488😒seriously that boy is 7 year old
That kid who said Rohit, he was like don't bother me while I'm in practice 🤣🤣
This is how world cups should be covered.... Amazing felt proud as a cricket lover and as an Indian... Kudos to Sky Sports and Kate Cross...
Sadly Apne logo ko jingoism chaiye na.
This is so beautifully done. I love Sky and supersport for the grassroots work and the conversation they build
That 7.5 years old kid stance is so balanced. No wonder Mumbai produces beautiful batsmen.
Bombay's cricket culture, particularly at Shivaji Park and other maidans, is truly once in a million! It's the same path that many, like Merchant, Gavaskar, Sachin, Prithvi, Jemimah Rodrigues, Mandhana, Suryakumar, Rohit, etc went through the same journey!
It made my remember the rangapathar maidan. It was originally a football ground in Guwahati, but the cricket lovers took it for themselves. We used to play there a lot in our school days.

Walked past the Oval Maiden a few times last week when I was in Mumbai for the 2 South African games and no matter what time and what day of the week it was there was cricket being played on every inch of those fields. ❤
Are you south African?
Kate for the ICC President!! So well immersed into the culture :)
She's got her after cricket aims well in hand, don't you worry about that!
And more women's cricket countries
I've played so many matches on these Maidans and it's always full of chaos if you are looking from outside. Matches on pitches parallel to each other. Balls flying from every direction. You get used to it after a while. The cricket culture on these grounds is nothing short of Amazing.
There must be 100s of maidans in Mumbai and Oval is one of them, and think about all the maidan's of India from which the talents will come. Gosh it is just incredible how much cricket is played in India. Many talents just go away due to life's pressure.
The beauty of Mumbai , the maidans . Fortunate to have lived in this city and played in these maidens , took me back to my college days playing cricket with my mates . No city can match the passion for cricket like Mumbai !
Need longer version of these videos honestly
Great video mam ....weldone u covered all things in oval maida this is where all great Indian players take the first step towards cricket 🏏 right from young age. And mam ur bowling action I loved it. Thank you
not ALL... but 'many'
Wonderful cricketer Kate Cross! 🇮🇳
Good to see sky sports showing different cultures of different cities of India u showed the dehradun streets and now the cricket culture of Mumbai
Naseer Hussain too had hosted a brilliant series couple of years back in which the history of Mumbai cricket and it's heritage was involved
Ur doing work which icc actually should do but kudos to ur team 🎉
For us cricket is not a just game it's an emotion.its in our hearts.we love this game alot.
Great to watch an English progamme on India without the obligatory tabla sitar music and reddish filter.
😂
I vividly follow sky sports cricket, you are not just biased towards any particular team or country, your telecast based just on cricket oriented, that's I like most! Ur goal or my goal is just even like reach the cricket to remote corner of world and to revolutionise the every independent section who are under privileged. Ultimately "who won" it doesn't matter just want cricket to win!
When that little guy said Rohit!!!!!!
Man it melt my heart 🤩❤️
Now THAT 👆 is the authentic representation of India coz I live very close to that very ground n visit there often 4 matches n is EXACTLY as is shown by Kate ... Great Work Sky ❤️ as usual 4rm 🇮🇳 💯 ..
These maidans are blessed with the legends of Tendulkar, Gavaskar and Rohit
Thank you for not adding typical Indian music and hazy dust edit finally 😂
I was sad she went unsold in the WPL Auction. Such a wholesome cricketer.
She definitely knows how to present herself on a Tv show.
Fantastic feature. Cricket is Mumbai. But there are many other attractions in the chaotic city. Hope Jemimah shows you places around. 😊
Kate : How old are you man ?
The man : Seven and a half year !
😂😂
Top coverage! Kate needs to do more interviews!
Rohit Sharma Inspired The Generations, One Of The Greatest Ever To Serve The Game ❤
Cricket is like a fever in India . We love to play & watch the game both .
Great coverage experience thanks you sky sports team
thank you for not using yellow filter. Look how beautiful and realistic the video looks. compare this with your previous nasir video in mumbai.
nice simple beautiful video.
was gonna mention it, thankfully they changed it
Woah! The oval maidan is actually a perfect rectangle
Amazing coverage by Kate, definitely cricket is India's soft power
Where legends are born ❤ Great clip Sky 👍🏼
This video is just so wholesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤ love Kate Cross
Hello
Kate cross is a fabulous story teller & of course she is very popular among Indians :)
Being an Indian I'm happy that this represents the country's love for cricket far greater than the world cup 2023 theme song ' dil jashan bole ' 🥴
Make more vidoes like this!! This is so great
How can i miss this video??
I watched it whole.
well done Kate cross and Sky Sports Cricket.. nice video. great presentation of a story..
Beautifully presented
Appreciate the variety of bits and pieces article's shyness presenting.enjoy the cup guys
Congratulations india for hosting greatest event we really miss cricket in Pakistan hopefully satiation get better and cricket will back to Pakistan one day 😢❤
Good going Kate but what Naseer Hussain did with the Mumbai maidan series was of another level. U guys r beautiful presenters of the game.
looks beautiful without the yellow colour grading. keep it like this. realistic.
Oh my God, I'm awe to see that they didnt show this video in orange colour what they generally do to portray India because it's British channel.
Very much appreciated 😊😊😊👍
Good to see kate🥰
From someone who was a regular at the Oval Maindan...the biggest challenge of playing here was NOT to get hit from a random ball from a different field next to you 😛
Kate cross would have played better than mens cricket team today 😅😅😅😅
Great story need more of these please
Wonderful.... video ...just love that type of video...
*CRICKET IS EMOTION FOR US INDIANS* 🙏🇮🇳
Well done Kate Cross. So much chaos, still so calm !
Great short documentary.
Kate Cross for Prime Minister ❤
Ofcourse she's a cricketer .
Perfect fit for Pakistan
@@sigma_beta007 Endia needs her badly 😂😂❤
@@KanuniSuleyman4857Sure we'll keep her. She's cute.
2:37 ROHIT🔥
Great Coverage... Well done Sky Sports Cricket ..
The chaos is in the UK 🇬🇧, they are happy being with everyone, play all through the year.
The 'Green Mumbai Clean Mumbai' signboard is hilarious considering the massive destruction of greenery that has been allowed to happen in the last 2 decades.
A sub-Saharan level economy cannot afford to put environment ahead of infrastructure
What are they supposed to do when so many people keep coming into the city every year ??
@@saikrisb2852Capping the migration. Most of the migration happening from North to South. It is time they should business parks in Rest of India as well to create equal job opportunities.
@@tusharhbk it's india, difficult to maintain such structure with our politics
@@tusharhbk are you kidding? 😂 They can't cap the migration and they shouldn't people have the right to go wherever to make a livelihood in this country
You should visit Shivaji Park for experiencing more chaos.
Wow..love this❤
still remember those documentaries by Naseer hussain on cricket in Mumbai 🐐
In presenting a story this channel is 0:58 on another level
Legend 🏏🔥🙏 Kate cross
so wholesome 🥺😭🥰❤️💜💖
Love the presentation by sky sports
Inspiring, Excellent
Don’t forget to put “chaos” when ever you guys mention anything about India
You should also visit shivaji park in dadar...
Wow it's like heaven!! ❤❤
Well bowled Kate 🙌 Respect
More chaos was seen in eng batting today😅
Great guy's Sky sports
Loved her voice
Her bowling action ❤ Very close to female version of Chris Woakes
Thank you Kate 🙏🙏
Guys where's the yellow filter?
😂😂
😂😂
Lol 😂
U have a great voice and style
Of Course 🇮🇳
2:43 Fan Of Hitman 😍 😍
❤❤❤❤love ur reporting 😊
Good to see them try hard even though with lots of limitation
What lot of people outside India don’t realise is that there is enough cricket talent in india to field atleast 3 squads (or more) at the top level simultaneously.
With such a big population, India can provide players to all cricket playing nations across the world.
Kate cross 👏👏👏👏👏
Awesome coverage
Want more vedios as this one
Our young generation of Indians are so smart and savvy. Our future is in good hands.
Star sports busy hiring social media influencers meanwhile sky sports shows what they should have done instead ...
Much love❤
Thanks for not using a sepia filter
Kate Cross is so wholesome
Honest life😊
