This is the first comprehensive review of its kind and we would like to thank the guys at Camio for the access BEFORE ANYONE ELSE!

I love that Vertigo keeps moving forward. People complain that there are too many models coming out too quickly, but for me it is that constant push to improve that drew me to them in the beginning. That new rear linkage looks great! Thanks again for another excellent video.
They are (were) always improving. But I am sure it will slow up now for a while.
Fantastic video Danny. Ive always ridden Gasgas but have seriously been thinking of switching to Vertigo. These bikes just seem to get better and better!
They do but the new gasser is decent!!!
@@TrialTube So true! loving the redesign on the 2023 gasser. My local GG dealer is selling off 2023's for 6500 moose bucks (canadian) Very tempting!
Nice video. Cheers. I do love a Vertigo. Cameo Moto is local to me which is a huge bonus and Rich is mega sound and knowledgeable. Will 100% be getting a used Vertigo off him at some point this year. Was going to get a gasser as that's what I used to have but the Vertigo design seems to take trials bikes to the next level. Hope they ride as good as they look lol
Well I have a used Vertigo that is in perfect condition. So that should help…✊

Was worried you didn't like it when I saw your Facebook post... Looks awesome but too expensive for a complete amateur like me. Still loving my 2021 vertical... Rides great, starts second kick always and is way more capable than I'll ever be. Totally get your point though, I race cars and spend a inordinate amount of cash on it, but it's my main hobby and keeps me off the streets... Horses for courses innit. Keep up the good work man. 👍

Cracking looking bike even the seagull just flown over look. Personally prefer the look of the JBR after the Gasser obviously😁
I also prefer the graphics of the JBR. These are manic!
Another brilliant video from danny and the team !! The cooling fan are always seem to be running on the modern bikes that would put me off when riding .. Nothing new on the linkage tho honda RTLs had that many years ago and yes a great solid link !! these modern bikes don't really have any sole BUT are designed to do a job ? a bit like a throw away panel saw !!! I do think tho they are getting way over complicated for what they do !!! Put it this way danny doesn't need an engine he can do trials on a push bike and on the back wheel !!! Brilliant constructive video danny well done boyo !!

@@TrialTube I was up at the SSDT and the vertigo bikes were suffering with there chains coming off i was really surprised at that but hey !! IF it can survive that then its properly tested LOL ... GOD SAVE THE KING !!
Nice review Danny. I don’t think it’s the best looking bike vertigo have put out. I like the cold start you can actually here the fuel pump and injection priming after your first kick. 👍
It does make a difference and I agree not sure what they were thinking when they let a 5 year old create the graphics
Also I rode a montesa 247, I really don't need suspension other than to cushion landings so that frame doesn't break!
My montesa had about 5" of travel at rear, but I could use a rigid tbh!
Rigids really are an old-school machine. A fair few pre 65 bikes were rigid. Of course trials suspension is mainly to ensure a quality of grip and contact to the ground etc... Thanks again for the watch!
Hey Danny seeing as it got mentioned numerous times about how easy it is to start, what have they changed in that respect ? because my nitro 300 is temperamental to say the least....

Great review as always, above my budget but can't wait to get a sherco 250/300 just trying to find a test on both to see which suits me

@@TrialTube everything I've read says the same, got my eye on a nice 2021 fajardo replica just can't find any info as to if the engine spec is same as a normal one

Defiantly the fan IMOA is the most annoying part for me after that many models I would of thought it could of been sorted or at least replaced. Linkage looks good and as you say with your feel for the rear suspension is probably and improvement but needs some protection surely. Great review Danny but can we have more bike time shown with maybe head to head reviews and even a lesser rider giving their feedback.

shame bout the frame colour, dont hate it, but the green looks so good and ive always thought of them as a green bike. i dont hate the fan noise either, you defo know its working

Enjoyed that , but what about the chain tensioner! The chain rubs on my DL 300 2020! Have they sorted that out?
I never had an issue with mine…so not been able to list it as a fault.
Hi just after some feedback I would like to get back into trials after 30 odd years break,I am living in Denmark at the moment and have been looking at a Vertigo R3 280 2021 I don’t know a lot about modern trials bikes thoughts please.
The R3 is awesome, we did a review on it on the earlier episodes. Check it out
I feel like a plastic linkage guard (like beta use) would go a long way on this bike. Bad point no. 3?

Nice bike . The stand works and tbh I think it's great . Radiator fan I couldn't care less . I can't look at my vertigo without wanting to have a shot , so planted and confidence inspiring .

petty but hate the noisy fans... they are easy to pick out of a crowd by fan alone...
prefer the jbr colour/graphics, still prefer my factory beta... even though it comes with basic everything... great vid Danny, thought this was going to be a nitro negative vid, glad it isn't.

Another entertaining review. I am always left a little lost on the range/models of bikes available. There appears to be 3 standard models and 2 signature models in the Vertigo range along with a mix of engine sizes but its really hard to evaluate the value proposition as manufacturer websites seem to be lacking these days. This seems to apply to other manufacturers also.
Only manufacturer doing it right digitally is GASGAS. The rest are just discovering fire and tools…
there is only 5 models for 2023 1) Works 2) Lampkin Replica 3) Ti 4) RS 5) RSR...............really not that hard

Hhhhhhmmmm this is tough as they are all so different now. I love my Vertigo and the newest one. But feel the GasGas is the best looking…

agree the rear brake pedal is too big and vulnerable to breaking..............first thing I broke on the JBR :(
I changed mine due to the lack of grip also
For those in the know;
Just imagine the tension at 2.24, anyone else ready for the drama? Got to promote a bike with a known (ahem) 'characteristic' so camera shows one failed attempt to light up, then the leg goes for a second try but for some strange reason there is seamless😂 editing decision to switch to a different camera, at a different angle, which actually synchronises with the sound effect🙉 of a Vertigo firing up ?🤔I've subscribed just for the comedy.

think id find the fan coming on all the time pretty annoying, whats that all about? most other trials bikes dont seem to come on half as much...nit picking maybe , but.......
The fuel injected bikes seem to run at a higher temp and the fans are on a lot more. Like a lot….
You get used to it and it doesn’t bother me now. It’s kind of reassuring as I once had a Beta fan that didn’t come on and the bike blew up!

My vertigo R2 starts second kick. I love the brand there’s no doubt but in all seriousness are 99.9% of people honestly going to feel the difference between the new RSR and a nitro JBR? I doubt it highly….
The difference is so slight…

Trust me, if you have a bike blow up because the fan never came on (and you didn’t know because it runs silent) you would be glad of the extra sound

£8750?!! For god's sake, why is every Motorsport getting exponentially more expensive with time?
The sad thing is that those that can afford it fail to see that paying the money keeps it like this.
Motorsport is a rich man's game, nowhere to ride other than expensive venues, etc.
When I was 15 I could push my bike to the field and ride, police, dog wankers sorry walkers and killjoys have killed it.
If someone does earn enough to ride, they have no time left to do it unless they are rich.
The sport is indeed getting more expensive all of the time. `however trials is still the cheapest and most accessible motorsport. Also if there were more people taking part then the bikes would come down in price because more people would buy them etc. We have to get people involved. PS thank you for taking the time to comment it really helps!!
