Anticipating the top question: "Why not just go 100% effort for all the runs?"
Answer: For many reasons. 1) Injury risk. 2) Fatigue factor. 3) 100% effort doesn't necessarily equate to faster sprinting times; often 'full' effort means tensing up and actually losing speed. (Just ask Noah Lyles what he did differently when he won the US crown after sub-par heats at the Olympic trials: • Noah Lyles posts world... ) . 98% effort is usually the sweet spot for fastest times, at least for me. 4) From almost a philosophical perspective, many coaches argue that it's impossible to go more than 95% effort in training, simply because the preparation isn't the same, and the adrenaline is absent too. Ideally, yes, all the tests would have been done at 'full' effort - but that's not possible from a practical perspective.

Maybe you can run with someone who is faster than you in the test. Some competition can push you to reach the max speed. The test can be two runs. The faster guy runs in Superfly Elite 2 only. You run in Maxfly Proto and Superfly Elite 2, respectively. The guy's result can be a reference for you to make comparison.

My experience is that hard sole helps me with relaxing in finish and at 200m gives me more power in the end of run. I'm feeling like I wear springs intead of shoes.
