Nintendo Direct Next Week?
In the form of a Partner Showcase, but hopefully that means Switch 2 on the horizon afterward.
@@technohighlander608Partner Showcase confirmed?
How ‘bout A Wii games library released for Nintendo Switch Online
I hope so. I was just thinking, Ocarina and Majora can be played on N64, GameCube, Wii, U, and Switch. Wind Waker and Twilight can be played on Cube, Wii, and U, Skyward Wii, U and Switch, Wild U & Switch, and now Switch only for Tears.
Apart from Wind and Twilight, the 3d main console Zelda games have been made available on every system from initial release to present platform.
Surely they are going to let us have Wind and Twilight before the next console comes out.
Nintendo have said they want a Zelda something every year though, haven't they?
10 years since a new DK game. That fact alone hits so hard... I didn't want a remake of the original trilogy before, but after the Mario RPG remake, I'm all for it! If it's a not a new game ofcourse
All I want is my twilight, princess, port, and black and white remakes
I'm sure it will probably be jam-packed with content, not only we might see everything lined up for the Nintendo switch this year and in 2025, but perhaps switch 2 reveal trailer. No switch 2 specific games however but it's likely It will have full backwards compatibility
My wish list of games is are very first teaser of Metroid prime 4, kid icarus uprising remaster, a legend of Zelda 2D compilation and a legend of Zelda 3D compilation
Keep dreaming kid
My wishes for the direct that we probably won't get
-kid icarus uprising on switch
-pokemon lets go johto
-oracle games or minish cap remake
Wind waker/twilight princess bundle
Metroid prime 4
New fire emblem
Gamecube NSO
OG pokemon games on NSO
Pokemon might be saved for Pokémon presents
It's fun to wish for things from Nintendo, but our wish lists never resemble what is given. We anticipate way too much
@BunchaNothin amen to that
Life of a nintendo fan😂
I'm going into this direct knowing that this stuff won't happen lol
But I would love kid uprosing on the switch it's my favorite game of all time
@BunchaNothin also game freak is too cheap to put the OG pokemon on NSO and they would probably require the rewind feature disabled
From that list, only Fire Emblem, gsmecube NSO, and maybe Kid Icarus (not uprising though, i have no idea how that game will even work in the Switch) seem possible.
The real Metroid Prime 4 are the friends we made along the way, pokemon stuff is usually presented in a separate event, and seriously, even after BotW, LA, SS, and TotK do you really think there will be another Zelda game in the switch? Like, let's be real, it hasn't even been a year since TotK came out, and at this rate it is more reasonable to think that they are working on a new Zelda for the supposed Switch 2.
While we have yet to be certain if Fujibayashi and Aonuma will reconsidered their decision to cancel their DLC plans, a master mode, the return of Kass, and DLC side story is what we need for Tears of the Kingdom Deluxe Edition.
Since the game’s plot is divided into two parts from the perspectives of Link and Zelda, why couldn’t Nintendo let our favorite geeky Princess of Hyrule be playable?
And what better way to fixed up the plot holes is to allow players to explore Hyrule in the distant Past. One where it can balanced both Zelda’s own gameplay and storytelling. From her time in that era looking for ways to get back to her own time to bonding King Rauru, Queen Sonia, and Mineru as she began to master her Recall abilities. Plus, some more infor on the Ancient Sages.
But the background of Ganondorf’s character is a must need. In Japanese, he has a dissatisfaction to the rulers of Hyrule that lived in a peace and tranquility where as he remained attached to the brutal past were those with a sense of fighting spirit are the supreme. He aims for controlling all creation instead of world domination(unlike his previous incarnations). And he willing to go extreme lenghs to fulfill his desire. Even he is willingly to transformed himself into the Demon King.
A Twinrova boss battle would be most appreciated to add on to since her last appearance is in Oracle of The Seasons/Ages. And it would fit Link and the newly appointed Sages to face the twins who taught Ganondorf to Gloom (or shouki in Japanese translation).
That is my fan requested for someone who loves Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom.
Link & Sages vs Twinrova and the return of Kass were two DLC possibilities I really wanted 😢
@@legomaster2538 And a playable Zelda since this fresh concept has never been used since the unfinished Second Quest story of Skyward Sword.
People kept saying that she can’t fight and she is meant to be a damsel in distress.
But Zelda is more than capable of handling monster on her own since she wields both light and time power.
Yes a TOTK DX is what we need if they’re not gonna give us dlc for the switch. They should also add some shrines, a few new temples, origins to the 3 elemental dragons, and going beyond hyrule is what it should be about
We also need trial of the sword
I think that there are a lot of games like the Zelda Oracle games or the Mario game boy games that have important places in the lore of their series a lot of younger gamers just haven’t experienced those stories because they’re on such hardware and have outdated gameplay mechanics and if they updated those games for modern hardware with modern mechanics and graphics, it would make a lot of people happy both the people who grew up with the originals and the younger fans who never got to experience them, because those games were before their time
The remake of Oracle of Ages/Seasons would be great!
This is the time for the FE4 remake, I can feel it.
Feels like the earlier days of your channel good return to form
Unfortunately the rumors right now has been hinting to a partner showcase next week.(hopefully this is not true).
Better than nothing. Actually it may be a good sign that next gen is approaching sooner rather than later
I hope it IS true, which is almost certainly is. This is only good because it means they are saving their good stuff for switch 2 Reveal. Which means Switch 2 reveal is imminent (first 2 weeks of March)
@@Axecon1you are right. It's just a little bit disappointing that we will have to wait a little longer.
Boti overclocked 3d game coming to consoles early 2024 Spyro 4 maybe later on this year
Keep in mind if the new system exists it’s going to without a doubt be fully backwards compatible with current switch games
Always lower your expectations so that you will never be disappointed
1:40 Honestly, I would not be shocked if the Switch gets first-party support with *new* games through 2026, especially if their rumored console has backwards-compatibility. I can't see them abandoning their large install base until enough have moved over to the next console. Which is to say, this is NOT the final opportunity for them to reveal things like Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD. Similarly, I'd expect that the inevitable 2024 Pokémon game will launch on Switch, not their next system (we're on the same page with that point, at least)
Like when the Switch came out, they continued to make first-party 3DS games until ***OVER TWO YEARS*** after the Switch released.
* Mario Sports Superstars (3/24/17)
* Team Kirby Clash Deluxe (4/13/17)
* Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (5/19/17)
* Miitopia (7/28/17 - NA/EU release date)
* Metroid: Samus Returns (9/15/17)
* Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions (10/6/17)
* Fire Emblem Warriors (10/20/17)
* Mario Party: The Top 100 (11/10/17)
* Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon (11/17/17)
* Detective Pikachu (3/23/18)
* Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido (6/8/18)
* Captain Toad: Treasure Trakcer (7/13/18)
* Luigi's Mansion (10/12/18)
* Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn (3/8/19)
Also, there is NO way that we will get DS Virtual Console on the Switch - we don't have a second screen... That will be reserved to the next console which presumably has dual screens.
the amount of games for the switch we currently are still expecting, together with emulated games on the online services, feels like they still expect some revenue with the Switch. with the switch ongoing, and the 3DS being finally dropped with its online services, i could see nintendo turning the Switch into their current "Handheld" system and develop a new home/stationary exclusive console instead.
No. Ffs no.
that's a NO. more likely than not Nintendo wants to keep the current Eshop layout and make the current switch system and future system backwards compatible in some capacity.
If you do the weighted average of all of the first nintendo directs of the year for the past 10 years, you approximately get Day 49.7 (Feb 18.7), and if you mostly ignore the directs before the nintendo switch's release, you get Day 46.7 (Feb 15.7), with around a 23.1% chance that it will happen between Feb 10-20. The probability is even higher if you consider that it didn't happen in Feb 1-8.
Here are my own predictions based on what I’ve heard (also works for the partners showcase if that rumor is true).
1. Limit x Despair: This project was the first of the Too Kyo Games projects announced but the last to get released, so it’s been in development for a while. Plus, Kodaka said he was hoping to release more info on it this year.
2. New Tribe Nine game trailer: Tribe Nine was originally announced as a mobile game back in 2020, but we got the anime first, with a new game trailer only coming out five months ago, so I would love to finally get more info on the game.
3. Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure Switch port: This one is admittedly wishful thinking, but it’s an underrated game that deserves more attention (and a sequel, since it ended on a cliffhanger, but I’d want a port first so it can be introduced to a wider audience).
4. New DecaPolice trailer: This game has been on my wishlist since the first trailer came out, so I’m wanting some new info.
5. New Professor Layton and the New World of Steam trailer: Same as DecaPolice.
6. Switch remake of the third Famicom Detective Club game: There’s been rumors of a new FDC remake, but considering we already have remakes of the first two games, it only makes sense for a new remake to be the third game.
7. New Penny’s Big Breakaway trailer and release date: Same as DecaPolice and Professor Layton. However, this one might be saved for the next Indie World showcase.
8. New Billie Bust Up trailer and release date: I’ve been following development of this game since Fantoccio’s Pre-Alpha demo came out in January 2021, and I’m so excited for it to come out, with said release being slated for this year. However, since the first two chapters haven’t been finished yet, this will likely not happen until the next Indie World showcase at the earliest.
9. Sonic x Shadow Generations: I know this was just announced this past week, but I want to see more of what Shadow’s campaign has to offer. Plus, the base game is bound to have some new stuff as well with the whole thing being a remake, so I’m curious what that new stuff will be.
It's a partner showcase, don't get hyped for nothing. The big direct is in June.
Hey as long as the Super Switch releases on, say, Christmas or January, I'm ok.
Here are my hopes for Nintendo Direct of 2024:
- Announcement of Nintendo Switch 2 or Super Nintendo Switch
- A Teasers for Tears of the Kingdom Deluxe Edition with the Master Mode and a DLC side story where we get to explore more of Ancient Hyrule and the Imprisoning War with Princess Zelda as a playable character
- Twilight Princess/Windwaker HD Remastered edition
- Metroid Prime 4 teaser
- A new gameplay footage of Princess Peach Showtime
Never played Wind Waker or Twilight Princess, so yeah, I definitely love to play them for the first time on Switch.
they have said there isnt gonna be any dlc for TOTK. i could see potentially seeing a master mode with a switch 2 re release. also i feel like TP/WW are either going to be quick ports releasing this year as an end to the switches life cycle. or full 4K upgraded remasters for the switch 2 (or just never ig)
I don’t think we’ll be having a February direct at all but a partner showcase.
Nate the Hate explained at his podcast a switch 2 unveil will show up by March, as a rumor.
He actually said it was "informed speculation". Derived from information he has that's not available to the public
It’s February this has to be it my dudes Silksong for sure this time.
🤡
I don’t think we are near the end. With how much time it has taken for Microsoft and Sony to move on from the Xbox One and PS4, the sheer size of the Switch’s install base, the lack of official announcement, and most of the GameCube/DS/3DS libraries not on the Switch, I believe we still have 3-4 years of Nintendo supporting the Switch. It will become increasingly focused on porting old games, minor games, and eventual cross releases with the next system; But it will be another 3-4 years before the last official Nintendo release.
If there is a direct but it does wind up being a partner showcase, that’ll be very telling and Switch 2 hype is gonna increase all the more.
When it comes to things like Thousand Year Door- I don’t think it’ll be a feeling of dropping a game on a sinking ship as Switch 2 leaves port. The color button theory seems legit- they could be poised to seamlessly go cross-gen and have these games take advantage of new hardware, input methods, graphics, etc. I’m really excited to see what’s around the corner!
With it possibly being a partner showcase, how about EA brings Dragon Age and Mass Effect to Switch!
2 wild predictions
1. Shadow drop metroid prime echoes remastered with a release date and possible trailer for metroid prime 4.
2. Metroid prime 4 gameplay trailer with the game being announced to come out on Switch this year and Switch Too, yep thats the name, next year to give them more time to work on the vr version of the game because that could be the gimmick of this new console.
Looks like we might be getting a partner’s showcase we will see
I can’t wait for the announcement of the Nintendo Swiitch U
I think it’s time for F0 and wario land to have new games
The Samus silhouette on Retro's website is just the Prime Remastered model. It's not teasing anything.
Here are My Hopes
-Super Mario Odyssey 2 Teaser Trailer
-Super Mario Galaxy 3 Teaser Trailer
-Galaxian 3 HD
-Pikmin 4 DLC: Louie's Dark Secrets
Probably gonna be Mario odyssey deluxe
It will be interesting 2 see if the Switch 2 allows compatibility with the original one's dock. Probably not, but U never know.
I’m excited for the thousand year door remake but I’ve never played the first paper Mario and I really think it would be good if they did that game also but to be fair I’m biased since I own thousand year door on GameCube
I’m fine with Nintendo main stuff but there are four things I want to see
1. A new platinum game like ethier Astral Chain 2, Wonderful 102, Mad worlds/2 or a new ip
2. A new warriors game mainly Pokémon or Xenoblade Chronicles
3. A new Team Asahino game so like Bravely Default 2-2, Triangle Strategy 2 or a new IP
4. Whatever Stadio 2 and Stadio S is making.
If there even will be a Direct this month.
Will palword be on the super nintendo switch?
Nintendo direct on Wednesday 21 4:00
I miss the days when Nintendo would announce Directs a week in advance or more. The guessing game of when a Direct may or may not happen is always so frustrating
I am not sure why it matters, You will get the info whenever Nintendo decides to release it. Its just a prerecorded video, its not like its some Live event you want to see, you can watch it anytime after they release it
Apparently there's a good chance that it'll be just a partner showcase, so no first party titles.
Nintendo Direct 21 Wednesday 4:00
is it happening today or next week im so confused
I don’t think this next console will be 4K
No one ever thinks Kirby will show up. I always go into a direct expecting something Kirby just cuz HAL goes crazy lol
I want twilight princess and the wind waker 😍😍😍💖💖💖
You said TTYD Remake has a summer release window. That's incorrect. They only gave us a 2024 release window.
Watch it just turn out to be a Nintendo Direct Mini after all this speculation
Actually it might just be a partner showcase.
this will be a partners direct.. so revise your predictions..
Give me a Switch port of Yoshi's Woolly World, & I'll be satisfied!
I would love to get twilight princess and wind waker on switch
The only Direct of February will be a Princess Peach Direct.
Twilight Princess. Definitely. They have to. It's time.
I want WW and TP
i bet they will show games
My man thinks games are gonna be fully exclusive to the Switch U
Totk shall never die
I hope Nintendo makes a new game in a series that they haven’t touched in a while
Oh god please just STOP with the whole MP4 being on the Switch, I'm tired of it
One possibility would be a release date announcement for Dragon Quest 3 2D-HD Remake as it was announced like 3 years ago. Maybe even a first real Dragon Quest 12 trailer. But that is Copium from my side
Kid Icarus uprising needs a port and a sequel because it’s an amazing game with outstanding voice acting but it stuck in 3DS jail
We’re getting a new Kirby a new fire emblem a new Mario sports. No new Metroid or Donkey Kong. I have low expectations.
A partner direct
No Zelda DLC/Port and no Metroid Prime IV. And, of course, no new hardware.
It'll be only the Peach game and the usual indie games.
Anything else would be a pleasant surprise. But since TOTK I don't want to be hyped ever again.
No Pokémon Black and White remake
No direct until July
Donkey Kong game and port the donkey Kong returns pleaseee Nintendo
They is no hope for twilight princess and wind waker
These content creators love their ????????????????😊
DMC4
Jeg ønsker for denne direct:
Rayman 6
Ny super Monkey Ball spill
Ny 3D donkey kong spill
Mega man 12
Crash bandicoot 5
My prediction is Super Mario will push in the right direction under the guidance of Miyamoto. And that Zelda will push in the wrong direction under the guidance of Aonuma. The longer Aonuma stays at the helm of Zelda the more story, lore and structure will die, the more you will get breakable weapons, collective storyline memories and 1000s of meaningless shrines. They need to replace Aonuma for the good of the franchise.
ANOTHER MARIO ???? ENOUGH ALREADY !!! Seriously, I'm sick of the mario content.
Nintendo Direct 21 Wednesday 4:00
