I broke every rule I have ever seen in a CZcams video when I met my filipina on line. After 6 months of video calls I flew to manila and yes she met me at the airport. We got married month later, I am 53 she's 42 and I am truly the luckiest man on earth to have gone through that whole process doing everything wrong but still coming out the other end a winner.
My story is identical except we are happy without marriage.

I completely understand the women of the parish being ticked off. Personally, I think the Feminist movement was good back in the day, but it has done no one any favours for the last 20 yrs or so. I have a saying...Men WANT marriage. we are NOT afraid of commitment leading to marriage. What we are afraid of is the DIVORCE that comes with it in most cases. Sorry ladies, stats don't lie. men saw what divorce did to their fathers and their friends fathers...we are not interested. Sorry for the rant, but I have been divorced. I would never consider a western woman again.

There are as many good filipinas as bad western women. The chances of finding a beautiful, genuine, good woman here in the Philippines is very high. In the west...a good genuine western woman....not so much.
I was recently in Mindoro for 2 weeks only, 1st time Philippines. (Canadian 63) I met 2 lovely women close to my age there. I found myself thinking: if I were her I would not take a guy seriously only here for 2 weeks. Just maybe if it was his second visit to Phil. I think much more realistic if I spend some months there. Are you really in the same relationship starting from your first foot on the ground, first time in Philippines?
Yes i am, my Aslie, she is quite a girl, we have had no serious issues to now. I keep forgetting what day it is..it's strange to not need to care about that. It's a different life here alright.

Het Nelson, thoroughly enjoy you're video's and great to see the channels slowly going in the right direction and growing nicely. I've been with you since @ about 300 subs.......My sweetheart isn't super young and nearly 4 mths now and she absolutely beautiful from the inside out, has 4 grown children, well almost!! youngest son is 18 so he's off to college next and her family has a magnificent productive farm south in Bocol where we plan to live as my background is from a country life even though the middle pat of my life was in a large city in Australia. So looking fwd to the cultural simplicity my girl and I are looking fwd to together. I've travelled to many parts of SE Asia before on holidays and not interested in neck breaking lol as my Baby is the world to me as am I to her. FYI she's a previous runner up in her early 20's in her province Beauty Pageant and still over 25 years on has remarkable physical looks with an even better Soul to match. Naga is where they have a significnt Christian Pilgramidge once a year and my Baby travels from Sorsogon each time. So you're from Melb, also.....I'm in Central Old for a few years now and will full time by next year, about mid be in pH. Bicol huh!! we'll be very close relatively speaking John, haha!! so when the time's right we can meet......when are you planning to live there??

Did you just go with the basic tourist visa or jump right into the retirement visa. Maybe it is a topic for a future video...
I'm just on a standard Tourist Visa, good for 3 yrs with extensions, then I would have to exit the country or change my Visa status to something more permanenet.
