"The world is a better place because of iron maiden" The truest words I have heard all day & all week ! \m/
back in late 90’s, when Bruce was asked to rejoin Maiden, members of his own solo band told him to do it...... they told him, it was fun to play with him, but they said the world needs Iron Maiden...... only a true Maiden fan is willing to make such sacrifice
@@itkojecockot That was Blaze Bayley's reaction to it as well. When the guys in Maiden told him that he'd be let go in favor of Bruce's return, he pretty much said that the world is a better place with Maiden in it, and if it means that Bruce needs to come back, then that's exactly what should happen. Such a class act that man.
@@ZealSeraph I like some of his solo stuff...... he is a great vocalist, he just didn't fit Maiden's style...... with right musicians, he can sound pretty great actually
@@itkojecockot Agree. His solo albums are pretty interesting. Also, X-factor has some amazing thins too.
@@damiangallego2388 every Maiden album with Blaze is pretty good, infact I own a copy of every album with him..... they are just not as good as Bruce/Paul albums, but I still like them....... his most underrated would be "Virtual XI" album...... there are a few very good tunes on it...... I still like it...... that's the thing about Maiden, they have weaker albums, they have better albums, but in general, they don't have a bad album...... I have them all...... there are only like 4 or 5 bands that made at least 10 studio records and I have all of them, so you can tell I am a pretty demanding music listener...... I don't buy just any record, but from Maiden, I have them all...... they may not be the greatest metal band of all time, but they surely are the best of all time......
This whole album, A Matter of Life and Death is phenomenal
Totally, but so much underrated :(
@@radeonpernicek Let the ppl that cant understand the greatness of Maiden underrate, we know better, theres no such thing as a bad Maiden album.
A Matter of Life and Death is a very underated album. With the running anti-war theme, you might say it's almost a concept album.
I agree.
Absolutely agree!I saw Maiden on this tour and they played the whole album from start to finish. It was fucking awesome. This is one of my favourite tracks on the album.Brighter Than A Thousand Suns is also amazing.
A Matter of Life and Death is my favorite album from the second Bruce era of Maiden.
@@folkme3042 I so hope that they react to Brighter Than a Thousand Suns. I just listened to AMOLAD for the first time in years and all the songs are amazing. There is not one bad song on this album!
I Heartily agree.
One of the best songs never spoke of.
It’s on the set list for this tour...phenomenal to hear it live :-D
Definitely my favourite Maiden song post Brave New World
I have been a Maiden fan since the early 80's and I feel that A Matter Of Life and Death is Maiden's BLACK ALBUM. The stars aligned the production is fantastic, their playing is fantastic, Bruce's voice throughout the alum is his best work. Nicko's drumming is unmatched by anything else from that time, Adrian, Dave and Janick's playing was just fantastic as well. Then there is Steve, Steve brought the entire album together not just through playing but as a leader as well! Kel and Rich LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE ALBUM! My fav song on the album has to be The Legacy, THAT SONG all the world leaders need to be put in a room and forced to listen to it!
A Matter of Life and Death is my favorite album from the second Bruce era of Maiden.
You're spot on!!!
northlander30 agreed
As a Maiden fan since 1982 I 1000% agree with you! The Legacy is also my favorite on the album as well with Lord of light right behind it
Amen
Maiden means everything to all their fans, and that is a rare thing. They never got airplay, and yet they are a global sensation to this day. The music is just THAT strong, and it hasn't fated at all ;)
Best group of musicians ever assembled in one band. Best band on the planet and have been for years and even better live
80's maiden was special 90's was pants
The great thing about having 3 guitar players in a band: 3 guitar solos in every song. Not to mention the tonal and harmonic possibilities.
I'll recommend you this AWESOME Maiden songs:
No More Lies
Dance of Death
Paschendale
The Talisman
Starblind
Dream of Mirrors
The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
To much great Maiden songs to choose!!
The Thin line between love and hate!!
Back in 1985, when I was a teenager accidentally came to my person the Live after death album, it was something shocking to my tender ears used to Michel Jackson, Wham, Europe... etc music, after I couple of runs I discovered behind the energy a beautiful harmony on every maiden song of that work. Listening to Iron Maiden it has been one of the greatest pleasures I have had in my life( and is a whole happy life) I always asked myself why their music like me so much, since I don’t have any music formation I didn’t know if it was a basic and simple music or something more elaborated, now that I see your video reaction to IM and understand you are a person why music knowledge I feel that I wasn’t wrong with them.
Have you guys realized Iron Maiden have 45 year as a band and they keep growing their fan base along three generations? I feel relieved that we have a huge song’s arsenal to listen for the years to come, always discovering new Iron Maiden hidden song.
(Pardon my grammar) my first language is Spanish.
As a matter of fact I learned my first English words trying to understand the titles of their tracks.... sorry, bye.
I love Iron Maiden!!
The world needs iron maiden. I go see them every year and i think one of the saddest days of my life is coming soon when they retire and stop making amazing 🎶
i forgot how good this song is - great reaction !!!👌🤘🤘🤘
How not to love Iron Maiden? We all love this band so much..
Please react Iron Maiden - Out of the Silent Planet
This was one of my first Maiden Songs and I have to admit that I share a lot of emotinos with this song. I haven't heardit in a while and I literally cried. It is just so beautiful
As a Catholic, I can truly say religion as a whole, truly does have a lot to answer for
Amazing song. Truly the greatest band of all time in any genre of music. truly epic
A Matter of Life and Death is one of the best albums of Iron Maiden and for sure very underrated. The whole record is a must to hear and have in your collection 🤟🏼🤟🏼
Maiden sempre teve dom natural para criar épicos (e longos) em todos os álbuns. E muitos deles há mais de um épico.
Up the Irons!
The world is better place because of Iron Maiden, that what I say after I start listing to maiden.
Iron Maiden - The thin line between love and hate.
Plus you’ve got to tell us how you finally became an Iron Maiden fan after all these years! I’m 21. Die hard Maiden fan thanks to my dad! Up the irons!
Are you a man of peace
Or a man of holy war
Too many sides to you
Don't know which anymore
So many full of life
But also filled with pain
Don't know just how many
Will live to breathe again
A life that's made to breathe
Destruction or defense
A mind that's vain corruption
Bad or good intent
A wolf in sheep's clothing
Or saintly or sinner
Or some that would believe
A holy war winner
They fire off many shots
And many parting blows
Their actions beyond a reasoning
Only God would know
And as he lies in heaven
Or it could be in hell
I feel he's somewhere here
Or looking from below
But I don't know, I don't know
Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is
More pain and misery in the history of mankind
Sometimes it seems more like
The blind leading the blind
It brings upon us more famine, death and war
You know religion has a lot to answer for
Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is
And as they search to find the bodies in the sand
They find its ashes that are
Scattered across the land
And as the spirits seem to whistle on the wind
A shot is fired somewhere another war begins
And all because of it you'd think
That we would learn
But still the body count the city fires burn
Somewhere there's someone dying
In a foreign land
Meanwhile the world is crying stupidity of man
Tell me why, tell me why
Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is
Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is
For the greater good of God (x8)
Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is
Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is
For the greater good of God (x8)
He gave his life for us
He fell upon the cross
To die for all of those
Who never mourn his loss
It wasn't meant for us
To feel the pain again
Tell me why, tell me why
If anyone ever really listens to the lyrics of Iron Maiden, then they would realize how ridiculous it is that these guys got a reputation as an evil, Satanic band.
Half of Maiden's greatness is in their lyrics. People NEED to look the lyrics either during or after listening to their songs.
I love all Iron Maiden.............this is their best album in my opinion.
I got a burnt copy of this album from my dad, who got it from a friend at work. I took it out of his room and listened to it on a whim, having only heard of but never listened to Maiden before. I was in love with their sound, completely and utterly, from track 1... but this song, this 9 and a half minute track, (Alongside The Legacy, which dual-guitar strums were ecstasy to my ears) made me fall in love with the band as a whole.
They tell such a powerful story in the lyrics, the music is vibrant and alive, and everything about it is just so. damn. good. Not enough people react to this album when going through Maiden's catalogue, and especially this song. I'm so, so thrilled you got to listen to this masterpiece.
Up the Irons!
ALL HAIL THE MAIDEN ..

Iron Maiden is Legendary. And somehow...they keep getting better...
Great choice, this is on the set list for this tour (I saw the UK leg) the set dressing for this is just...
This song is about religious fundamentalism and fanaticism and is ranked amongst my top 10 Maiden songs.
I was lucky enough to see them play this album in it's entirety. I would love to see them do it again.
Having seen them supporting Judas Priest in the beginning back in 1980 who'd of thought they'd have such a career releasing album after album of absolute quality. Definitely one of the U.K's best exports!!
Awesome tune !! They are amazing !! Saw them three times through the years 👍 And you two are awesome as well 🤘🤘keep on rockin you two !!
There are a lot a great songs on this album but my favourite are The Reincanation of Benjamin Breeg and Out Of The Shadow. It is not a concept album like Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son but war and religion are the main themes.
Patrick, I love The Reincarnation of BB. Spot on!!!
20K plus subs!!! Awesome!!! When I came in, I think y'all had like 1K or so subs. You guys are great! Been a wonderful journey with y'all. ✌

Rich & Kel. You guys are awesome. Your first reactions make my day. Keep on keeping on. By the way The Nomad from Brave new world. You have to do this.
One of Maiden’s more overlooked albums. Completely solid from beginning to end, I’m hopeful more of AMOLAD shows up in future set lists.
7th son of a 7th son is great tune
This is just showing that iron maiden pure magic feel like a heavy metal orchestra this song
One of my favourite Iron Maiden songs - great reaction!

Happy Birthday Buckethead!!!!
Get ready to see them perform this song. If I remember right they performed this on the current tour in Europe. 'Sign of the Cross' and maybe some others other than the famous ones you've done.

Yeah Kel, That's the feeling when you get the exactly meanning of any Maiden song. I hope someday you react to
#IronMaiden - The thin line between love and hate. Greetings from Medellín-Colombia 🤘🤘🤘
I love this song because it has the heaviest riff at the beggining, plus is a great reflection about duality of human soul... at the end only you decide what path to follow in the edge of that thin line.
Excuse my english, is not my home language.😉
You are so happily married and I hope 1 day I come across that kinda even close to that relationship God Bless peace
Amazing one of the best songs of maiden .
