- Who are wild campers and what do they do? Do I approach them or avoid them? Often people feel intimidated by the sight of a few tarps and a fire surrounded by strange men and woman. It can be a little intimidating when you out taking your dog for a walk or just taking a stroll in the woods. Farmers will usually not take kindly to people camping on their land and rightfully so but before you judge them try approaching them and engage in a conversation. If they are bushcrafters or wild campers you will soon realise that they are there with the right intentions. We are people just like you, we enjoy getting out in nature, experiencing the freedom, practice the skills, cook over a fire and seek adventures that take us away from our busy and hectic lives. We mean no harm and our ethos are leave no trace, enjoy the outdoors but keep it as we found it. Talking to us can often give you more understanding of who we are and what we do. Don’t judge us by the stories of people leaving Rubish all over the countryside, they are not wild campers and we are not them.
Lovely
Thank you 💪
I am a wild camper this is a really good video it shows are Ethos and what we're about we love the countryside and we pick up other people's litter and take it home we love being outdoors we love being in nature

Alexandre here I am. I subscribe to your Channel. 👍🔔
Such a wonderful message.❤️
I totally agree with you on this, every Wild camper and bushcrafter that i have had the pleasure to meet have had this attitude. they enjoy the outdoors and want to keep there camp site clean, so they can revisit at a later date. my local camp use to be a fly tipping site, until i cleaned it up and cleared the land. now its has seen the plants and wildlife return, I now even have giant puffball growing,
Great video Alex, spot on!
I hope that this video will be viewed by the landowners who may have had any doubts or negative thoughts on wildcampers in the past and understood all that you have said, realising that wildcampers would not only leave no trace but also be prepared, whenever possible, clear rubbish that some non-wildcampers/countryside visitors leave behind!
Thanks for this important video Alex.
Atb.
Take care,
Steve.👍👍
Absolutely spot on, A friend of mine shared this on his Facebook wall, and I shall do the same. As said in another comment I hope some landowners get to see this to dispel the myth about us hooligans who destroy nature & people's land

Thank you so much 💪
Great Video mate, as you say it’s not generally the wild campers. It’s the yobs with no respect for anything or anyone. 👍🏻
Exactly, and thanks pal 💪
You’re most welcome 🙏🏻 where’s the tarp hat ?
I took it with that weekend but forgot it in the car and could not be bothered crossing the river to get it 🤣
If you want to camp on private property, I suggest you ask.
That is without question
